Thought another jersey should’ve made it here? Check out this follow-up where I look at the uniforms some of you said should’ve been listed: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lD7da_0pD-I.html
The Rams are only gonna wear the bone uniforms two times this season (which they already did three weeks into the season to get it over with) . Seriously I still don't know what they were thinking when they made those, now they're starting to realize what an atrocity it is.
@@Bullboy_Adventures i didnt even know it was a different shade of white. Still, the LA bone jersey just looks like that one white shirt someones constantly wears until its grey from all the grime its picked up over the years
I remember watching NFL Primetime during the '09 season, and Trey Wingo called those Broncos throwbacks: "UPS meets the court jester" and I've stuck to that ever since.
As a Browns fan I absolutly hated the 2015-2017 uniforms, They did it from what I hear is they tried to appeal to the "younger generation" who think our traditional uniforms are boring
When I was a kid watching football with my grandpa and the Arizona Cardinals came out in those black uniforms I spent almost a whole 1st quarter trying to fix the settings on my TV because I thought something was wrong with the colors
I disagree with many of these opinions, I think most people would rather the classic look for everything, but I want more variation, I want more complicated uniforms or else it is all boring. Tho I'm a Bengals fan and I liked their more complicated set and didn't even want them to change it that much, but with the new ones I think the old ones look just insane, but I think what makes their new set look so good is how it changed from the other to look more modern and classic at the same time, where they are my favorites in the league now. I think you need those variations to appreciate it when it's good, then when it's classic it gets boring and you want it more complicated. Overall, I wish teams took more risks, changed more often, it's just a more exciting feeling when your team gets a whole new look like the Bengals did.
As a Seahawks fan, I have to say the color rush uniforms are WAY worse than the green and blue ones you mentioned. The all neon green is just blinding.
I can't stand either of them. Wish we would shelve them since we have the throwback now. I know the Wolf Grey got shelved but I would put them both away and just use the throwback for the alternate.
As a diehard Steelers fan, I absolutely HATED the Bumblebee uniforms. So happy that they got rid of them. In my opinion, the block numbers are their best throwback uniform
I hate the all reds for the Chiefs as well... it isn't a coincidence they either lose, or woefully underperform against lesser opponents when they wear them.
The Bucs actually do have Orange on their red jerseys. It's on the number outline. So yes, they've had success with orange on their jersey. I'm just not a fan of the modern uniform redesigns. Lions, Dolphins, Rams, etc. Though I like the more realistic Dolphin logo, the first time I saw their current jersey, I thought they just found an old Griese/Shula Era jersey, threw them in the washing machine a hundred times, and then went with it. Everything just looks washed out these days.
Agreed on all of the Commanders' uniforms. They should bring back either the 1962-68 home and road jerseys, pants, and socks, or their 1969-78 jerseys, pants, and socks.
In 1979, the Chargers played the Rams at the L.A. Coliseum. San Diego wore their blue jerseys and Rams white. The teams colors and schemes were so identical that it looked like a scrimmage game!
Original owners of Packers: "Hey, what uniform colors should we choose for our team in _Green_ Bay?" "Oh, I don't know, probably some golden yellow. It's classy and shows everyone just how good a team we are." "Great! Okay, what else?" "I'm thinking blue. Everybody loves blue." "Sold!"
I grew up and still am a Bengals fan and I've always HATED the Browns rip off look but so many people here want the Bengals to wear them as throwbacks and I never understood why lol.
So glad you touched on the Dolphins color rush uniforms. As a Phins fan, I was really excited when it was announced that they’d be brining back the orange jerseys. I really liked the orange alternates back in the day. Then I turned on the game and saw the new ones… and immediately wished I’d never been born with the gift of sight.
Mono-color very rarely works out well unless it's a simple darker color like black or blue, and even then it usually looks like a silly superhero costume. The Fins' orange jerseys would be fine if they paired them with their normal white pants but orange-on-orange is just hideous. I long for the day when NFL ditches the Color Rush gimmick. Keep the garish jerseys for marketing purposes if you must but please stop with the matching pants; it's not like those are even on sale to the general public.
@@bobsnow6242 even with white pants, I think the color rush uniforms were just too bright of a shade of orange. I’m not big on the creamsicle shade of orange but that might just be me. That said, I do agree that super bright/vibrant colors don’t look good as the full uniform color. They need to be offset with white or black in order to avoid being an eye color. Only exception I can think of off the top of my head are the Ravens color rush uniforms, but even then it’s just because I think the jerseys with the gold numbers are fucking beautiful. They’d probably look even better with white or black pants
Wholeheartedly disagree with the Carolina Panthers Color Rush being their worst. It's honestly one of the best of the Color Rush unis simply because it's not an eyesore.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who didn't care for the Vikings 2006-2012 jersey. The one they had in the 90s were great and the modern ones are also pretty sharp but the Peterson era ones just didn't work.
As a 49er fan I completely agree those black jerseys were hideous and you could barely read the numbers. Also agree that those teams that have recently changed their uniforms should upgrade by going back to previous uniforms like the Browns and Bucs did.
Patriots fan here, and I am personally not a fan of our current home/color rush uniforms. The uniforms we had during the latter half of Brady's time with us simply can't be topped IMO.
I kinda liked the circle jerseys the packers sported. Yeah it was weird that it was blue but Wisconsin likes its history. It confused the hell out of me at first when the helmets were brown but I understand that's supposed to be the leather caps they used to wear.
The Lions legit looked best in the 2000s. The Sanders era and the reuse now? The blue and silver don't contrast together well, and white doesn't help in the former. Adding black trim was just what they needed
I actually like the 49ers Black Jerseys. I just wish they had a black helmet to go along with it. The gold clashes pretty badly with it, and is the one reason I think it looks a little off.
The "fade" jersey into pants look actually works ok for some college teams, kinda like the color-block deal, but it depends on the color scheme. It just sucks with some team colors. I know it's racist in it's origins, but I miss the old Redskins.
Personally when considering the Packers, their current all green jerseys were only worn in like 7 games ever in just the years 1950 and 1953 and should really be never worn again considering the history and how they are currently playing.
I hate them, especially 1993. When Drew Bledsoe modeled the new duds, Red Sox announcer Sean McDonough said, "Those new Patriots uniforms are absolutely hideous!" Oddly, the 1976 Patriots had the best uniforms in NFL history, but those were never used as throwbacks.
I remember reading the NFL 75th Anniversary book about the Broncos first uniforms and the bonfire that took place. I couldn't believe those socks made a comeback!!
The Steelers' 1933 throwback uniforms look even stupider than the bumblebee ones do. The bumblebees approach "so bad it's good" territory; the 1933 vertical stripe ones are just awful.
As a 55 yr old Eagles fan I agree 100%!! Jeffrey Lurie refuses to acknowledge that the Eagles existed before he bought the team. He is a silver-spoon raised, carpet bagging mama's boy who has never worked an honest day in his life. The NFL owners bent their own rules to let him buy the team from Norman Braman, because they despised Braman. Give me the 1960 NFL Champions jersey or 1980 green & silver.
I'd say the Colts worst uniforms were the pale gray pants of the mid 80s. The gray pants weren't dark enough and they always just looked like dingy white. Like they forgot to wash them from the last game.
The Colts should just stick to royal blue and white. I also didn't like the blue pants they briefly wore in 1995. I'm also not a fan of the 1957-67 serif numbers they went back to on their jerseys starting in 2020. (The Cowboys should go back to the serif numerals on their jerseys though.)
I must be one of the few people that liked the Jaguars color rush and their regular uniforms from that era. They were unique and stood out. The Panthers color rush uniforms should not be on this list. The Panthers have one of the best colorways in the league
Not sure why this populated my feed. But, as a Saints fan, this one is correct and immediately came to mind. You know it’s bad one time wearing something can be so immediately recalled.
The gold outfits for the Saints weren't that terrible. Compared to their White and Black outfits, sure, it's the worse one - but it honestly wasn't bad.
The Ravens have had old gold trim on their uniforms since the beginning. It's always been very subtle but it's always been there. The gold pants were a typical design strategy of bringing a recessed color to the forefront. I believe it was taken from the coat of arms of Lord Baltimore.
Old gold has always been a secondary color. Just not good as a primary as seen here. At least, to my recollection, they only wore those horrible pants once in the last home game of 2015 vs Kansas City. I was at the game and was like WTF when I saw those.
The Seahawks' original royal blue, darker green, and silver uniforms were their best. Especially when all the players wore black shoes with them from 1976-79.
As a die-hard steeler fan, I’m afraid I have to agree. I still like the uniform, but out of all the other throwbacks, it is easily the most mediocre one.
The Commanders should have been called The Redhogs since it would tie into the history of the team plus they could have made a WAY better logo than the W.
I think the uniform the Chargers wore in their inaugural 1960 season is the worst. It was a powder blue look, but the colors of the bolts on the shoulders and helmet looked too distracting for me. There's a reason why they only used the blue bolt only lasted for two seasons.
I actually happen to like the Patriots lighter blue jerseys. I personally am more of the throwback type, so anything like Bucs or Seahawks throwbacks, or even the Eagles Kelly green was awesome
Chargers Air Coryell is a classic uniform. No way are they the worst. Their worst is the dark navy crap the Spanos brought in when they bought the team.
I agree with you all the way about the navy blue. And the Air Coryell-era uniforms were cool (I'm still partial to the powder blues with white helmets myself).
personally I like the Chiefs all red uniform, but i guess when the title of the video is "every NFL team's worst uniform" and you're talking about a team which has had the same uniform with very little deviation throughout the years you aren't left with too many options to pin as the bad one.
14:55 those gold pants were horrible. Glad the Ravens had enough sense to never wear them again. Every other uniform combination they've had has been good to great. My favorite, as a Ravens fan, is the all black uniforms.
I mostly agree with you with some of these absolutely tragic uniforms. However for some reason I really like the Ravens mustard color pants. Yes I know they are brutally ugly but I just like them. I also liked the Air Coryall Era Chargers uniforms. Maybe because that's when I first saw them. Absolutely the powder blues are better but I like those Fouts era uniforms. I did know the Raiders wore black & gold. Glad they switched. I miss Pat the Patriot.
Some of my least favorites are: -Jaguars current uniforms. They look boring as hell for a color scheme of teal, black and gold -Cowboys white unis. That pants look ugly and white is not a home color. So ditch those ugly silver-teal pants and get ones that match your helmet -Giants current unis. Again, they’re boring. The throwbacks should be the permanent home and away unis. And this is coming from a Giants fan. On a separate note, I like the Buccaneers “clock” unis better than their current ones but I’d rather have the current number font on them instead
I disagree on the Giants' primary white tops. Keep in mind that they're called Big Blue. This is why I don't think tops and bottoms with just white and red make sense for them. I think they would be better off going back to their early-90s look full time. I wouldn't mind them bringing back the white tops they wore at the turn of the century.
As a Chargers fan, I strongly disagree. The Air Coryell uniforms are 🔥 🔥. Obviously I’m biased, but if I had to pick one, the early 2010 uniform are the worst. The last uniforms we wore as the San Diego Chargers. Boring AF. From what I heard, we wanted to have four numbers retired in the rapers that represented 4 eras in the chargers. Powder blue- Lance Alworth, Coryell- Dan Fouts, 90s Navy blue- Junior Seau. We knew LTs 21 would go up there and they didn’t want two 90s Navy in the rapers. Wack Arnold proudly presents
I'm partial to the white helmets and powder blues myself, but I also like the Air Coryell-era uniforms a lot. And they always looked ugly in navy blue.
As a Vikings fan since birth.. at first I was offended by what u said but had to agree as I thought about it. Also I would love some day if we could throw the viking on our helmet, I love the horns but it would be cool to see even if only for a game or 2 just something I've wanted to see.
The only thing I don't the about the Cleve....I mean Los Ang.....I mean St. Lou..... I mean Los Angeles Rams is the helmets. They look like futuristic bananas 🍌
