There is a rather funny dark eldar story where an archon is simping for a lady archon of a different Kabal. He tries and fails to impress her, going so far as to try to raid a necron tomb world just so he can get one of their green gems to give to her. This led to his entire Kabal being destroyed including his daughter. He confronts the lady archon, crying and snotting all over himself, until she goes up and kisses him. The grief and pain of losing his entire Kabal apparently turned her on and she married him, effectively replacing his lost Kabal then and there. I believe it was a part of a collection of xeno-shortstories called "fear the alien".

When I started 40K in 2000, I named my force the 'Kabal of the Hidden Blade'. When reading the 8th Ed Codex, imagine my surprise as I found a reference to a specific spire of Commorragh referred to as The Hidden Blade'. GW making my Kabal retroactively canon because I picked such a basic name for them? I'll take it!

My favourite kabal is Children of Thorns Who worked with humans and realised the ture way to repel Slaaneah was the friends they made along the way By torturing entire populations of worlds they gave then, and in return raiding some worlds they told them to meaning more stuff. Meaning possibly the upper nobility of the humans have dark eldar GFs

Kabal of the Blades of desire...Xelian's "death" while training wasn't exactly a normal death while training...and it happens in the first book i think if not second of the trilogy of the "Path of the dark eldar" series which, if you're a dark eldar fan i really suggest you all to read to find out what happened and what happens after. Also in the third we see how powerful and how many resources Vect really has...i don't think that all of the kabals united would stand a chance against him after reading that book and his character is really awesome.

I think my idea is kinda shit but your video inspired me to make a Kabal of my own. Kabal of the Splintered Mind (Formerly know as the Kabal of the Imperishable) - The Archon was killed several times by the same Emperor's Champion of an Imperial Fists successor chapter. Upon his latest rejuvenation and just before he was about to embark on another try his second in command informed him the Emperor's Champion had been slain by an Ork Warboss. Having felt his wrath before after delivering bad news she (his second in command) had a special cocktail made by a rival Kabal that she administered while he was still unconscious during the rejuvenation process. It was designed to take effect upon his awakening to heighten his feelings of helplessness and drastically lower is aggression. It would wear off a couple hours later. Upon hearing the news and possibly an unexpected side effect of the cocktail the archon went batshit insane. He is currently on a mission to retrieve the corpse of the slain Emperor's Champion who has been entombed upon the chapters home world so he can bring him back to life so he can have the victory he so desperately desires. His second in command enjoys watching her master suffer so much. Killing him while he slept would have been too easy so she is patiently waiting for him to fall in battle one last time for shits n giggles.
