That's a really beautiful idea! I may consider asking my husband about this, if I ever happen to get married! 😊 It's amazing how no matter what we do, or don't do, we get criticized, isn't it? It reminds me of Matthew 11:18-19a: "For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, ‘He has a demon.’ The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.’...” The more I read the Bible the more I realize God feels the same way-- like He can't do anything right, not even by His own people 😮😢❤

@@AlanaL3 I did and to be honest I can’t speak for yourself but for me the lord has revealed to me these wonderful truths of scripture and it fits right in what I believe! No one taught me about calvinsm! I didn’t follow any preacher or any theologians , it was the lord who revealed to me .. I’m been saved like I said for 20 years and it’s been I think 7 years till the penny dropped if that makes sense? Prior to this I believed that I had played a part in my salvation not releasing that it was all of God ! I believed I had to say a sinners pray but I now know that this is not biblical! I now know that I was a Arminian and I believed what they taught especially on the five points of Arminianism which I looked and studied at and i couldn’t accept it! I looked at church history and found that all the great reformers of past had the same arguments Armeniansm. Now I’m not saying your Arminian I’m just saying what I experienced! The Armeniansm doctrines I now know is a heresy! And not biblical! The five points of calvinsm were a response to the Arminianism not the other way around! I looked at the doctrines of grace and fell in love with the word of God ! To me I can see the scriptures and these doctrines throughout the bible. I don’t like the name calvinsm because it give a wrong idea that I’m following a man ! I like the reformers of past and present being called reformed! Reformed means to reform the church back to the bible! You may disagree but I hope you do come to the truth of Gods word God bless

Never heard of it, but I have many friends who used to be church of Christ and realized they were adding a lot to the gospel and have since come out of it. I think it really makes people struggle with their works and living a perfect life.

@@AlanaL3 Just to clarify, Pelagian views of the fall lead to man-devised ways of salvation that present Jesus' work as a mere potential redemption that must be made effectual by man meeting certain conditions, which cannot, in reality, be fulfilled by fallen, unregenerate mankind. Are you familiar with these core issues in the CoC cult?
