Maybe add a ruffled peplum at the bottom of your last top, the fabric is beautiful.

Loved the fail addition! I am beginning to learn to see my own clothes and enjoyed that part because I am sure I will fail many times! It is easy to get sucked into the “everything is perfect” filter on social media! Thanks for including that. For the fail piece. Could you incorporate some white eyelet fabric to make the puffy sleeves? A scalloped eyelet edge for the sleeves would be really cute!

Lovely makes! For the fail top, why not use the sleeves for a tiny ruffle peplum? Maybe enough fabric left for straps?

I think the purple dress is my favorite, the style and the fabric, its so hard to find pretty purple prints in that shade. For that pink top, maybe you could add an eyelet white ruffle if you wanted it to be longer, like a peplum style in a way that looked like part of the design.

I was so happy when you said that dress was the Hazel pattern- I just bought that to make with some yellow checkered fabric I thrifted, and in your newest video I thought "I love her dress, it looks a bit like the Hazel pattern" haha hopefully mine turns out as well as yours did!

Lauren, you are such a talented sewer!! I enjoy watching your videos and being inspired:) I’m a newbie at sewing and haven’t made any clothing yet. Could you do some videos on altering thrift dresses into tunic tops? To wear with capris and leggings? Loose fitting tunic tops. Also altering a larger size top to make it smaller? As a knitting/sewing newbie, my decoding of yarn and fabric metric equivalents is not the best (to say the very least). Would you share how many mohair/silk balls of yarn you used with your particular pattern? Could you recommend a video and/or book to help with these issues?
