@@johnniefinney3266 Alright so, im going to make this short but basically Sunny still pushes Mari down the damned stairs and Sunny is in such guilt he runs to the kitchen and stabs himself. Mari then wakes up after passing out and sees Sunny dead on the kitchen floor with lots of blood. Oh and Hero is there and gets traumatized too.

Agreed. I feel like many people haven't talk to kids like Sunny and that's why they can't portray him properly. Though I belive he will become more talkative after the good end and has come to terms with the truth, 12 year old Sunny was definitely like this.

@@burtoncraft Ironically, the fact that Sunny has so many flaws is the reason he is able to reach the true ending. Since Mari doesn't really have anything she can overcome, she can't change which is why the interactions feel so real to how they would be in the game.

12:32 That moment was the most emotional part for me. In reality Mari is a perfectionist and often tries to hold Sunny to the same standar. This cleary frustrates her to no end as Sunny is simply more content with taking things at his own pace and explore his own little daydream world. It all culminates in that moment where she lists several of his achivements only for her to dismiss them by ranting about several minor transgressions. She does love Sunny a lot but her very nature clashes with his as she pushes him further while he is incapable of setting boundries or expressing his feelings. It's simply... a tragedy.

I see what you mean and as I said I liked how you explored this perfectionist side of her personality; my personal interpretation was a bit different (given my own life experiences), as while she puts the concert (still a year away!) and her perfectionist desires first, and would really love to "fix" this stuff just with some yoga, she STILL recognizes that Sunny needs help phycologically, help that she is not able to provide, and that's even more tragic considering how she's probably the ONLY ONE in her family thinking about this, feeling this responsibility. (I had this exact conversation about my brother some years ago, "his family is not going to be around for him forever", and it also felt like I was the only one who cared about his future in this regard. It forces you to grow up. Thankfully we found some wonderful professionals that are really helping him in building a future for him, and I am so proud of how much he has managed to accomplish since then) Maybe, in the canon story, if Mari had survived the fall she would have realized eventually how she was in part responsible for this situation, and hopefully change her ways... I think I could talk about your video all day focusing on every little detail and ramification of her words, but it's past midnight here and I got a migraine at the moment 😅 Just one more thing, if I may: was she completely BLIND to Sunny's feelings for Auby, only viewing his actions in an utilitaristic way (aka "just another skill to improve"), and thus destroying poor Hero's soul projecting his sentiments for Mari on them, or was she just trolling/teasing him seeing the kiss at the end? 😅

​@@Valery0p5 Mari, in a way, is in denial about Sunny's crush on Aubrey. In many ways this too excempts from her perfectionist nature wich causes her to infantalize Sunny to a degree. In one way she doesn't see him ready for any sort of romantic relationship (maybe correctly), holding her relationship with Hero as a standar, the tought of Sunny having those kinds of feelings for anyone is too alien for her due to his reputation as the baby of the group. In an other way she thinks (erroneously) that Aubrey and Kel would make a good pair since she projects her early relationship with Hero onto Kel and Aubrey and has become attached to the idea. Hero for his part sees that Sunny has a crush on Aubrey and thinks it's cute and seeing Mari reject that notion for kinda rubs him the wrong way. As for the kiss at the end, Mari is a teen and she has the hots for Hero.

On the original story that this was inspired by, Mari survives and is sent to the hospital where she battles Nieta, her alter ego in this AU. I didn't animate that part because... The scene didn't resonate with me the same way Sunny vs Omori did, but I left Hero vs Mari as that's the part that inspired me. So I left it open to interpretation to the audience this time so you can read the original and see for yourself how this concludes or you can make your own conclussion. Thank you for questions.

A year. Technically two years. The script and planning took about 8 or 9 months while every visual aspect took 6 months
