Maybe it's because of the source material? In the book, the killer targeted Julie because hurting her would hurt him more than hurting him would. Ray would suffer by being the only survivor.

He went after Barry and Helen the most. He stalked them and then liked them. He only attacked Ray and Julie because they were the only 2 left I felt like he targeted them in order of Who deserved to die the most with the exception of Max. Also he probably knew Barry and Helen would ignore the letter probably the reason they were sent to Ray and Julie Barry was screaming pretty loud so he probably heard a thing or two

And he was expected to gather and understand that amount of info while he was under water after being nearly killed? He grabbed the tiara, and the Queen of the Fish Fiesta was one of the first to get wacked.

what’s funny is they said those exact lines earlier in the movie in a self deprecating way. They basically acknowledged it was cringe. So for them to repeat the exchange at the end like it was serious and spontaneous was pretty damn funny

Beep Boop -> There is good horror out there. If you're old enough, check out Severance. It's a British horror movie where the characters actually behave as if they are smart and want to live. Also Slither is a really great horror/scary/funny movie. Just amazing how you can be scared, freaked out and laugh all in one movie, but Slither does it.

Aku The Shape Shifting Master of Darkness Have you seen Psycho or the Orphanage. Both have slow openings but do that for the purpose of developing the characters and the story. Both are great psychological horror films.

In this scene, when they shoot the shark off the roof of the car through a pointblank shot, it not only instantly kills the shark, but throw it off the car with the force. There are several anime with short titles. The very long titles are a standing joke trend, not in the nature of anime. For example, K-On, School Days, Natume Yuujinchou, Cowboy Beebop...

Ken Britton to be fair it is a pretty obscure movie (hehe 1000 internet cookies if you get that joke) and although I liked it, it is not that well-known, in fact I never knew of it until I learned a certain PS2 game I love was inspired by it.

CryTheRavens it was a game called Obscure and you play as a group of high school students that have to fight against a mad scientist. It was made as a homage (but was pretty good) of all the teen horror films being made in the mid 2000's. The sequel was Obscure: The Aftermath and wasn't as good. But the first game is what I believe to be a hidden gem of the PS2 and a very underrated game. Good luck finding it though, it was quite rare outside europe.
