Every child in a Christmas movie: "Santa is too real!" Every adult in a Christmas movie: "no he's not. I know because I never got this one specific gift I wanted for Christmas when I was a kid."

I'm taking one sin off your total because this movie contains the best damn looking Santa beard I've seen in a movie. That deserves recognition. lol

I like how at the end of the movie, Charlie says that he wants to get into the family business. So, he openly admitted that he has plans to push his dad off a roof and steal his clothes.

When I was a kid I wanted to be an Elf because of this movie. Forget the Santa part, I just wanted to be an immortal kid with a jetpack.

It still bugs the hell out of me the the parents stopped believing in Santa because they didn’t get the toy they wanted.

Did... did.. you just sin the Carol of the Bells opening? My heart. It hurts.

I like how Bernard changed in the sequels. He had a lot to deal with in this one. He has to help train a new Santa, make sure everything goes smoothly and everything. In the others he's much more relaxed and it shows Scott's doing a good job.

The little girl at the park bench when they start lining up to sit on his lap is a freaking elf! The elves are seen throughout the movie looking after main characters. Wtf!? Never knew!

What I never understood was in The Santa Clause 2 it was made clear you needed a wife to remain as Santa if that's true WTF happen to the previous Santa's wife after he died? Does she disappear or something? How horrifying would that be if your husband dies you stop existing? This was one of the 2 questions I always had the other was addressing about why did no one mourn the previous Santa even a little bit. Was he a slave driver or something. The only answer i could come up with to answer both questions and to keep me from thinking about it was that the previous Santa had only gotten the job that year and on his first Christmas died. Totally explains why Santa has no wife and why no one mourns him.

I like how he mentioned at 4:45 about how the adult never seem to question where the extra presents come from. Like no couple had any conversation like Wife/Husband: say when did get those extra presents? Wife/Husband:what? I was about to ask you that. 5 minutes later Wife/Husband:that's interesting. I just checked with the bank and no transaction of ours accounts for the toys Wife/Husband:and I just checked with the relatives and they didnt buy them Wife/Husband:well the only other option is ... santa claus? Like nobody ever put the pieces together in this or any christmas movie?

I hate admitting it but the Santa clause movies give me a really awesome feeling they have always been my favourite Christmas movies and Charlie was extremely cute when I was a teenager

I've always assumed that it's extremely common for Santas to die on the job and Scott is actually one of the longest lasting ones. I mean, look how clumsy and easily that first one died. It was probably his first Christmas. It also explains why in the second one the whole "wife" thing was such a surprise. They hadn't had a Santa last longer than a couple Christmases in probably hundreds of years.

I remember thinking, even as a child, that it was stupid that parents would not believe in Santa even if gifts would just seem to appear at the bottom of their Christmas tree even if they didn't place them there. Haha! I'm happy CinemaSins also noticed that :P

When I was little my mom always told me that Santa didn’t die. He retired and he and his wife enjoyed some much needed relaxation. I choose to believe that since there was no body and the elves aren’t sad. This trilogy is my favorite Christmas movie. 🎅🏼🤶🏻🎄🎁

I was listening to the video in the background but perked up on hearing Jeremy say "What's up with all these fully clothed children?" Out of context that sentence gave me an entirely different opinion of Cinema Sins!

8:22 Wendy Crewson Looks Like Uma Thurman in Pulp Fiction. And That's a Sin for Me.

One of my favorites. Call me lowbrow, pedestrian, or common, but this film was made with a ton of heart. The story about the scripting is fantastic, and yes, the initial story very well could have been coke fueled. The final product was handled with care, and the framing of these shots and interplay with the score is amazing. It's an adult movie accessible to kids, and Tim Allen being Tim Allen lines up well with the role intended. Definitely sinable, but this movie never pretends it makes sense, only that it means well.

The one thing that sticks with me from this movie after all these years is the scene where he is in the board room eating all the food during a meeting, but then he scrapes that cup of pudding/yogurt so loudly. Idk why I remember that one moment so vividly

I laughed way too hard at "Tim Allen just disappears into this role". Like genuinely laughed.

To explain the whole "not-delivering-toys-to-Botswana" sin, Charlie did say, "Not everyone celebrates Christmas," when answering how Santa can visit all the homes with children in the world. Also, the whole police surveillance around the house was to apprehend Scott and see if Charlie would return, as he was seen entering the police station (which I hope has cameras). EDIT: Am I the only one who misses the "1-800-SPANK-ME" bit that was cut from future home releases of the film because some kid decided to call the number?
