I can totally understand Ravichandran's uneasiness at the term "natural selection." Natural, in this context is taken to mean "as derived from nature", but nature as we observe it is itself a product of "natural" causes and events that occurred prior. As an alternative, I would suggest "situational selection" or something similar, to mean a combination of events at a given time.

As for now evolution is just a THEORY and not a scientifically proven FACT. Thus we can decide ourselves whether to oppose it or support. For me I’m convinced with the evidences given regarding evolution thus I support it. At the same some one else may reject it but we must respect everyone’s opinion. Until and unless it becomes a fact we can interpret it in our own way. Personally I think instead of showing ignorance or blindly believing anything we must first look into the evidences which science provides and then make a conclusion ( All these until it becomes a fact) Peace 🖤

When you throw the stone upwards the most probable occurrence to happen is the stone to come down, that is absolutely true but how it can be true in the case of "origin of life" when non living matter reacted to make life and also probability and randomness made structure? I don't think there's a positive relationship with thermodynamics and evolution of organic cells. . Theories of it coming from space is also scientific. Learn about urey Miller experiment from class 12. It talks about the formation of amino acids and organic matter from the sea on an early earth. Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins essential for life. Which gives us the conclusion that the first cell was born from those components. Also this experiment was recreated on present day. But you're free to believe in life coming from magic and other things. And the creation theory can't be told as an alternative because it has zero evidence. The other one has evidence
If there is intelligence, there should be a brain behind it. If there is a brain, there should be a mind. If there is brain and mind, there should be a person. If there is a creation, there should be a creator. Everything has a cause and effect. Now, there comes an another question. What about the date of birth of God or who created God? This comes under a second level of thinking as our brains do not have the capacity to comprehend infinity. Even science do not have the answer to the question what caused the big-bang. Animals do not have the ability to understand our date of birth since their level of thinking is inferior to humans. One should know the newer advancements too. And very importantly, one should know what constitutes as "scientific evidence" and what does "scientific evidence" imply (spoiler: mere existence of scientific evidence does not necessarily imply something as a fact, or having scientific validity or consensus.) These are actually the basics, necessary to understand science. Unfortunately these are not taught properly in schools and universities straight away. And understanding those concepts require maturity and developed mind, and hence it might also be infructuous if they are taught straight away. "പ്രിയമുള്ളവരേ , വൈകിയതിന് മാപ്പ് ! ഞാന്‍ ഇങ്ങോട്ട് വരുമ്പോള്‍ ശക്തമായി മഴ പെയ്യുന്നുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.നമ്മുടെ ഗ്രാമത്തിലെ നദിയാവട്ടെ കര കവിഞ്ഞൊഴുകുന്നു.പുഴയ്ക്കു കുറുകെ കെട്ടിയ തടിപ്പാലം വെള്ളത്തില്‍ ഒലിച്ചു പോയ കാര്യം നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് അറിയാമല്ലോ ? എന്ത് ചെയ്യണമെന്നു ഒരു തീര്ച്ചയുമില്ലാതെ ഞാന്‍ നില്‍കുമ്പോള്‍ എന്‍റെ ഭാഗ്യത്തിന് പുഴക്കരയിലെ വലിയ മരം കട പുഴകി നദിയിലേക്ക് വീണു .ഞാന്‍ നോക്കി നില്‍ക്കുമ്പോള്‍ അതിന്റെ ശിഖിരങ്ങള്‍ സ്വയം മുറിഞ്ഞു വേര്‍പ്പെട്ടു പോയി . ഉടന്‍ തന്നെ ആ മരത്തടി സ്വയം പിളര്‍ന്ന് പലകകളായി .ആ പലകകളില്‍ സ്വയം സുഷിരങ്ങള്‍ വീഴുകയും ആ പലകകങ്ങള്‍ കൂടിച്ചേര്‍ന്ന് ഒരു ബോട്ടായി മാറുകയും ചെയ്തു .ആ ബോട്ടില്‍ നദി കടന്നാണ് ഞാന്‍ വരുന്നത് .വൈകിയതിനു എന്നോട് ക്ഷമിക്കൂ ..." ദൈവ വാദിയുടെ വാക്കുകള്‍ കേട്ട യുക്തിവാദിയും ആബാലവൃദ്ധം ഗ്രാമീണരും ആര്‍ത്തലച്ചു ചിരിച്ചു .ചിരിയടക്കാന്‍ പാട് പെട്ട് കൊണ്ട് യുക്തിവാദി വിളിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു : " ഇയാള്‍ക്ക് ഭ്രാന്താണ്! ഒരു മരം ആരുടേയും സഹായമില്ലാതെ സ്വയം ഒരു ബോട്ടായി മാറുമെന്നോ ? വട്ടന്‍ !" ഗ്രാമീണര്‍ വീണ്ടും ആര്‍ത്തു ചിരിച്ചു .
