“I don’t like drunk people.” Smart young man. No wonder these guys avoided them like the plague. So glad these roommates heard the falling down the stairs. Wow. It just keeps getting worse, and Sarah sounds guiltier by the minute. May justice be served.
Yep, they heard Jorge being thrown down the stairs, probably after Sarah hit him until he was unconscious, then stuffed his 103 pound body into the suitcase, then she throws Jorge down the stairs... That's my theory on the loud noises heard..
I am so glad that she didn’t take the plea deal! That just means there’s more time behind bars for her and less time living out in society free!! It’s a win for the American public!!!
@@emilyarabian2578nope she’s a “narc” She deserves to be free and about. Hid forbid, she didn’t anything wrong or committed a crime. Ahah!! Poor Sarah was a battered victim. Jorge (sorry) he’s in a lock suitcase, but yeah she was afraid for her life…. Please 🙏🏻 jury…🙌
@@ScarletAdhesive Even if she was battered it was not a defence to lock him up inside a suitcase. The video SHE recorded of him laughing and telling him it was his responsibility to figure out how to survive is what will get her in the end. No defence for that video.
Yes and nice people plus young who were easily manipulated by Sarah when she asked one to keep quiet about their noise and she probably asked other neighbors to not get them into trouble so that they wouldn’t get kicked out.
These two men are excellent members of society, and Brandon had EXCELLENT recall, even almost 5 years later. And he's quick on his feet, mentally... catching Owens in an error so quickly.
Cannot imagine what Jorge went through trying to breathe in that case. No emotion from Boone at all, sitting shuffling her papers and looking like she is writing a book !! GUILTY guilty guilty !
@@MR-gl9xu I’m a former alcoholic mess but I didn’t bring anyone down with me or kill anyone. I’m also not a narcissist though. My armchair diagnosis is that Sarah DEFINITELY is lol
She was adamant during the interrogation that she "did not touch him" and she had "no idea how he got those bruises". But she neglected to say that she kicked that suitcase, with him in it, all the way down the stairs! She was also adamant that she did not "get drunk". But later she states that she doesn't even remember recording him in the suitcase and her ex said she was obviously drunk when she called him the next morning. She's a liar. That's all we need to know.
She DIDN'T touch him. He got in the suitcase by himself, she zipped it up, and then proceeded to kick the suitcase down the stairs. So, TECHNICALLY, she 'never touched him'. That's her mindset. And nope, no realization, cognitive dissonance that kicking the suitcase down the stairs, with him inside, would not occur to her that injuries such as the contusions on the back and front of his head, broken jaw, etc., would happen to him. She is in total denial, total blackout from the alcohol consumed... didn't even remember recording the video with him inside, begging for his life. That's why she's in complete denial about what happened and will not accept the responsibility for her own actions.
@@rhondaalbrecht jail is often a worse place to languish than prison because there are no programs or things to do. Neither are a walk in the park though. "better" is relative
crazy she passed on the plea deal i think it was under 8 years and its state so she could have half the time removed but thank goodness she's not smart she will get the max now
She's delusional and it doesn't fit with her internalized idea of herself. Basically she doesn't see herself as a murderer so she couldn't have done it.
We think she will (should) regret it. But I don't think Sarah is capable of this type of reflection. Her self absorption blinds her. Horrible individual.
It definitely struck my ear in the interrogation when she went so overboard telling the story of why the suitcase was downstairs. "The closet needed to be cleaned out really really really really badly". Like really?
Praying for justice fo Jorge and his family. I'm sure he wasn't perfect, but there is absolutely NO excuse for what Sarah did to him. I pray his family will get some peace and closure from this trial.
You are assuming a lot here. Although I have not watched the entire case, there is actually a lack of evidence as to George’s pain. The prosecutor was fishing for that type of fact but nobody testified to that at happening at all. Like “help me” or muffled sounds like he was trying to get out of a suitcase. Although charged as murder, it sounds more like a manslaughter case to me. Reckless and negligent manslaughter. Sentence range is about 7-years different. This all could have gone down just like she told police. They were “playing”, she then fell asleep and when awakened, she discovered he was dead. She may not even be guilty of manslaughter. Be open about the facts. I know she is a very unappealing person, but she may not have even committed a crime here. Let’s see what happens.
@@JohnCrowley-q9y oh come on now John. U cannot believe sarah is innocent of this. It may have occurred in a blackout but still cannot use alcohol as an excuse for jorges death. The violence between them i believe was equal.
@@JohnCrowley-q9yshe admitted to hitting him with a baseball bat that night, you think that hurt? Or getting thrown down the stairs while in a suitcase didn't hurt? Come on😮
No way I could deal with loud arguing every night like they recount. The property manager/leasing office would be hearing from me every day about it But I guess like Brandon said they just started tuning it out.
@@weeger3930 I mean. At some point you’d have to. I don’t deal well with drunka$$holes though. Like, I’d avoid and ignore, avoid and ignore…till that lease was up and DIP!
@@sissy4506It doesn't help. I had alcoholic neighbors like this. The cops came all the time and they would be right back at it a few days later. I asked them one day why they stay together if they hate each other so much because they may kill each other. They didn't care. Some people love misery until the end and it is unfortunate.
@@sissy4506 yes, and then they turn that vitriol from each other, towards you. It’s happened to me. Trying to help someone and they turn on you for trying to help them. It’s ridiculous. I wouldn’t do it again unless I really honestly feared for their life.
@@ziggywalsh5562 zig, I disagree. The lawyer has a lot to work with. He couldn’t breathe? But he was talking to her when he said that. Of course he was breathing. A ton of lack of facts should have been addressed during cross. The lawyer is just lame.
As someone how has had to live in apartments most of my adult life, the fact she annoyed her neighbors with noise so frequently would make me give guilty verdict. Nothing ruined my quality of life more than rude a-hole neighbors making tons of obnoxious noise on my precious one day off from my soul crushing job.
Oh how I feel you on that! I once had a neighbor who had a pinball machine placed next to our shared wall and he would play it after midnight almost every night!
After hearing both young men testify about their ability to easily hear both Sarah Boone and Jorge Torres argue and yell makes me realize how cheaply these apartments we slapped together. The new owners should look up a soundproof contractor or a construction firm to deal with this problem. I’m glad it was a problem in February 2020 because these two young men provided helpful evidence to the State.
This case is too simple to have a big trail she should have been just sentences to murder and got 50 plus years without parole if he can't get out,Sara shouldn't get out
I had upstairs nabours like this. Mind you, she reminds me alot of her. They fought all the time. He was also a small skinny guy. Many nights it sounded like she was throwing him against the walls. It was bad!!!
That’s what their testimony is possibly insinuating, yes. The suitcase was originally in an upstairs closet…. So why was Jorge found downstairs in it? In the interview she went into detail about how the closet needed to be cleaned out “really really badly”, I think she was trying to explain away why it was downstairs. I believe he got into the suitcase upstairs and she pushed it down the stairs.
She acts as if she has something important to write. She probably hasn't even finished school but suddenly she is acting like a lawyer. hehe she is a pathetic Karen
I've never zipped anyone into a suitcase, or murdered, or abandoned my child so please stop using my name. It might be a meme to you but it's libel to me.
@@kellyparrish-w2r I agree Kelly. They seem kinda lame to me. I have been involved in a lot of criminal trials. Unfortunately, there are a lot of lame lawyers that present cases that this way.
My son had to go to court. It wasn’t over anything bad. I made sure he had a suit, and polished shoes, shirt 👔 tie. I was absolutely shocked to see people there in flip flops, board shorts, hoodies, and looking like they hadn’t showered in weeks. NSW, Australia. My son looked like a lawyer, and stood out like a sore thumb lol.
Her defence attorney should have taken a masterclass from the Halderson trial. At least Chandler's attorneys had the smarts to realise no amount of questioning witnesses was going to change the outcome.
Sarah told one of the young neighbors to keep quiet about their bad behavior. She manipulated him. She may have even told people: we don’t want to get kicked out so please don’t complain; for all anybody knows. It’s easy to become complacent about repetitious bad behavior; especially if you’re calling the cops and nothing is being done probably because both parties will lie so as none will get jail time. Sick dynamics of narcissist/ psychopathic behavior causing: love-bombing; devaluing; taking them back; love-bombing, devaluing until the victim gets: cognitive dissonance; co-dependent; addictive; financially dependent; manipulated; gaslighted, etc. and society keeps on refusing to let the public know about this mental disorder as a warning. I guess society enjoys protecting these types of people and secretly enjoys their chaos and destruction, vicariously through hearing about their reign of terror, on the news.
I agree with much of what you say. It would be awesome if people could recognize this disturbing behavior for what it is, and perhaps open a path that allows people to get help rather than discipline, or perhaps both. We have a way to go in sorting this out as a society.
It’s possible he was in the suitcase upstairs and the loud noise he heard was the suitcase hitting the floor at the bottom of the stairs or possibly a baseball bat hitting something
what an arrogant woman, she refused a sweet plea deal knowing the neighbors heard everything because her and her lawyer would've had access to witness statements ahead of the trial . She's not one bit sorry and clearly thinks she'll get away with murder!
So there is actually a third witness, an "ear" witness, to the sound of the suitcase going down the stairs since Vincent's girlfriend was live on a facetime discussion with him and she heard the noise also.
Holy cow. This was an unexpected turn. She put him in at the top and let it tumble down the stairs?! Wow, I've followed this case for 4 years and first time I've heard this.
This testimony is damming, I had no idea she pushed the suitcase down the stairs with him in it. Sarah really should have taken that plea deal, she looks even worse now.
Is she facing life in prison? This is an awful thing to do to someone and a horrific way to die. She may have been drunk but she knew what she was doing and he knew she was killing him. Now she sits in trial trying to justify her actions. What a psychotic person more concerned about her looks and her wants than of the life she took. No remorse and no ownership of her depravity !! Wow!
Why do people say "yeah" instead of yes! The courts should instruct him to use the proper word! Shows respect to the Court! JMO But I do like this young man. He's a credible witness! 🙏❣️🇺🇸
