Thank you for such an informative video. Social media seems to make us vegetarians worry that we are not eating enough protein but turns out thats not the case if we eat the traditional way our recipes were developed. Its about sticking to basics rather than fad diets.
Wonderful. A balanced diet. Eating common sensibly gives kind way to access. Dont worry be happy. Local seasonal and timetested. Thats incredible ❤️all the best and great health to all.
The best way of telling madam... Love you.. I was always confused with lot of information... This gave a lot clarity... Thanks a lot would be very small way to say. I am sharing this to all family members.
How nicely you explain such complex concepts to us laymen! In awe of your explanations Thank you for this wisdom! ❤ We need not be greedy for any nutrient and overdo it! Balance is the key 🗝️
Thank you so much for the valuable information. In this modern times, when people are running after fancy, expensive diets, you r bringing back our original food culture.
Thankyou so much mam for sharing such an enlightening topic... protein market has really created a FOMO among people which is really not the case. Protein requirements are being marketed in a way that only high income groups can afford but your video is really eye opening to everyone. Thankyou so much
Very useful video I really like how you uphold traditional food practices and how they are time tested. As you said protein deficit maybe a gimmick of certain food industries. I have always wondered how to include the insane amount of protein generally recommended. More than that how to digest all that protein. Thanks so much for clarifying this. ! Makes a lot of sense.
Wonderful video. Had never heard this protein fad before. As you have rightly pointed out, our traditional food used to have all the nutrients with the food items. With the modern lifestyle, we omit many of them and need supplements. A doctor had told the same thing that you did that it is the supplement industry that starts creating all these hypes just to create a market for these products. Thanks again for opening our eyes
Great insight i got from this session is to have protein in a time tested manner, rather than eating it in an isolated manner. Thanks a lot, Mam. Any alternatives for Diary products for vegans? And Non-veg alternatives for Vegetarians?
Thank you Rujuta for such an informative Video on Protien. I rely on your advice as well as Dr Jason Fung on intermittent fasting and I try to balance it with traditional wholesale locally available food . 🤗🙏
Thanks for breaking it down in simple Indian ways. I tried eating high protein for 3 meals but that drastically increased my calorie count. You see protein rich foods are also calorie dense. If I add carbs to it, it's going to even make it more dense in calories? And my diet was sugar free. How do we address that?
Fantastic, well explained hidden knowledge of protein in our traditional meals rich in protein Almost requirement can manage by taking traditional meals in proper sequence No need of protein supplements Wooow Great informative
Always a pleasure to watch. From information, articulation and intention.. 💯 Among other dieticians and other influencers who prioritise calorie counting, detoxing, quick weight loss.. you give hope❤️
If could make this video in different languages it will be extremely helpful like you know Hindi, Marathi.. our elderly parents can understand it much better way. Pls consider my request ❤
Excellent. Really good. This is in a true sense to acknowledge and motivate you to keep going. Have felt the same way about the hype on protein intake for a long time.
Thank you so much for all the information ! I have generally had a constipation. Is having chapatis the cause, because I have eaten chapatis all my life and I am 68 years old now. I also eat Adair amount of rice and sometimes jowar too.
Thank you so much for this important topic Rujuta. Just a request, according to Ayurveda, please confirm that all legumes must not be sprouted. They are heavy to digest. Rest information is really appreciated. 🙏
Hi Rujuta...thanks a lot for the much needed information on proteins..one of my friends follow a only a fruit diet for most of the days.. she feels energetic, more healthy..she was a vegan earlier....no sugar,no oil, only millets ... what is your take on this? It would be great,if you will answer this
Pretty informative session. You are really deserve for noble prize for contributing such an authentic n scientific topic to the society. ऋजुता God bless you abundantly beta ❤❤❤❤
Absolutely agree wvith you maam however no matter how much i soak, sprout and cook right i just cannot any legume or pulse in Oman also peanuts gives me heavy reflux i even tried with digestive enzymes same goes with milk products the source of lentils, legumes, pulses, milk matters how to keep torturing your gut yes i do eat it in a typical maharashtrian way yet nothing works except i can manage chicken n prawns wth rice so i stick to it
This is good for sedentary or mildly active people. But widely accepted science says that anyone into strenuous physical activity, especially strength and high endurance training that cause micro muscle and tissue trauma should be getting anywhere between 1 to 2 grams of protein per kg of bodyweight. That kind of requirement is often difficult to achieve purely through a regular diet and, therefore, the need for quality supplements. Please correct me if I'm wrong and why. Thanks
How much protein do u need (RDA)? Which is the study u site? What's the veracity of your study? When was the study conducted (double blind study / RCT)?
She perfect said - use panner once a while - now a days people eat paneer almost every day.. irony is the diet coaches ( personal exp with healthyfy me ) also recommend & confuse on us diets
Non-vegetarian proteins are full proteins and need not be consumed in combination with any other food group such as rice or roti, they are also more bioavailable.
