10 minutes of exercise can do wonders to boost mood, improve health, and lower blood sugar. When it's difficult finding time or motivation to exercise, a 10 minute walking workout is a great start and it'll often energize you so you'll want to do more. If time is an issue, try to fit in a bunch of short workouts throughout the day. If you're just starting out with exercise, aim to get in a 10 minute workout every day until it becomes a habit. Once you accomplish a routine, you can add on and do more when you're ready. Total step count today is 1105 steps.
If you have diabetes, making exercise a regular part of your life is one of the best things you can do to manage and live well with diabetes. Physical activity is the fastest way to lower blood sugar without medication. Exercise lowers insulin resistance and helps your body convert glucose into energy. Get started today to take control of your diabetes!

I did this twice and GRATEFUL that I'm able to! I'm grateful that I finally kicked myself up the bottom to start working out with you again Jules! I'm grateful for the sweat as it show that I'm working hard! I'm grateful for your little countdown clock and seeing the minutes fly past! Im grateful for waking up this morning! And for having the best nights sleep for months! I'm grateful that in my 66th year I've never needed to be on any prescribed meds! Yes, January is definitely one of those cold months that most of us just want it to be over with! Thank goodness for heating:) I was sick with a cold and vertigo, but thankfully I'm better now. Glad to read that you used this one as a warm-up video...that's perfect!

Love this! I started doing a little cardio, some about and core and strength. I end with stretch. So I love this quick movement. I tell myself that I am my reason and not my excuse, I'm glad I found you. I am on my 27th week with you and I'm still loving it!

Which strength training video would you recommend to help me work both my upper and lower body, along with some standing abs program to follow 2-3 times a week? I am trying to lose weight to get my cholesterol and A1C levels down.

Hi! It really depends on your current fitness level and your experience with strength training. I have 6 levels of strength calendars on my website if you'd like to check those out. If you're new to strength workouts, start with level 1. But, if you find those too easy, then move through the calendars until you find the level that suits your fitness level. Just go to www.improvedhealthforseniors.com and look under the 'workout calendar' tab at the top. Scroll down and you'll see the different calendars. I hope that helps!

I’m nearly 67. A bit of a bionic woman. One hip and two knee replacements but love these short exercises videos. I have to adapt a couple of movements but manage the rest and feel I’ve accomplished something at the end. Love your choice of music too. Many Thanks from a uk subscriber

Thank you so much for these videos - I started with the 3-minute mom and me workout and moved to this10-minute one. Going to keep trying to add minutes every few weeks. I appreciate that there is no chatter (although I love the short inspirational notes!) and the inset videos really help.

Hi Teri, welcome to my channel and thank you for letting me know that you're new here. Just to help you navigate the channel, I create 3 levels of workouts (gentle, beginner and intermediate) and categorize them all into the playlists. If you enjoyed this one, you can find plenty more at this same level under the 'beginner level' playlists. I might suggest trying out some of the 'gentle level' workouts first, see how you find them and if they're too easy, switch to the 'beginner level' workouts. You'll have lots to choose from in the playlists. Once you find the ones you enjoy most, you can hit 'save' under the video, and start creating a 'favourites' playlist for yourself. I hope that helps!
