This video show how to replace and upgrade factory running board lamps to LED bulbs for Ford Expedition and F-150 specifically 1997 - 2002 for Expedition and 1997 - 2003 for F-150. Other vehicles may be similar.

These are a little shorter and might work better. They are what I used for the license plate light.

Do you have the part # for the push pins? I took mine out and they both broke and were unusable afterwards

The led bulbs should come with them or try Rockauto.com

If you unscrew the middle part on those clips they'll pull out with ease. No need to fight them like that.

They come on when a door is opened or the locks remotely unlocked.

They go on when you open your door, shut off when you close the door.

GREAT CONTENT. I LOVE HOW YOU DIDN'T EVEN THINK ABOUT MENTIONING THE OEM PART # AND OR LED REPLACEMENT NUMBER. OBVIOUSLY ANYONE WHO HAS THE ABILITY TO OBTAIN A STATE ISSUED DRIVERS LICENSE AND OWNS A VEHICLE SHOULD HAVE ENOUGH BRAINS TO LOOK UP WHATEVER REPLACEMENT PART THEY ARE LOOKING FOR. IF YOU WENT THROUGH THE PROCESS OF MAKING A HOW TO VIDEO TO POST ON THE ALMIGHTY RU-vid, THEN AT LEAST GIVE THE VIEWERS PLENTY OF INFORMATION ON HOW TO DO THE JOB FROM START TO FINISH. SHIT, I'M JUST SAYIN
