I've seen someone saying that Adric trusted the Urbankan Monarch bc he's also from a benevolent dictatorship ruled by 3 people on a spaceship full of people who aren't quite what they seem! Which is the closest Adric had seen up to then. In State of Decay, the people lived in mudhuts (but even then, Adric still joined the villains, Aukon even pedo'd on him XD) In Warrior's Gate, we did'nt really get a look at the government, it's just a white expanse and then there's the grayscale Tharil home but Adric never went there. In Keeper of Traken, there were 6 people, one of them being higher ranked than the other five, and they were living in a freaking castle. An actual, 3000 year old castle that was'nt a spaceship. Three of them were siding with the villain, Adric could've joined. Logopolis was another bunch of mudhut villages of people chanting maths. And Castrovalva... Adric literally created Castrovalva by siding with the villain.

The doctors and masters accent gets translated as various accents depending on incarnation. So it might just be a different gallifreyan or Trakenite or xeraphin accent from a place like China.

There are doppelgängers bc Rassilon spread every time lords face on every planet, bc sci fi often has a doppelgänger episode, and bc they only mostly hired white British roles unless it was part of the plot like in four to doomsday. (And even then, the Greeks were played by Brit’s, the Mayans by middle easterners, and the aboriginals by black people) Or if it was a celeb like leee John 😮😂 In fact.
