I challenged myself to watch every episode of Doctor Who ever made in one year. That's 881 episodes spanning 40 seasons, a handful of specials and one TV movie.
This is the sixteenth in a series that details my mostly real and occasionally serious observations about the show as I make my way through it.

Tom Baker is the best for me. I love all his eras from the gothic horror to the comedy heights to hard science fiction in the final season. Tom had the best final season with him acting wonderfully off the brooding atmosphere knowing that his number was up with the last stories approaching. Tom Baker made you believe he was otherworldly with great conviction, and I love that. His scarf is iconic too.

I think at least one of those episodes was written by Douglas Adams. The planet names sound Adamsish.

Correct! Adams wrote The Pirate Planet (and it shows). He'd also write 2 more serials in the following season as well as serving as script editor for the rest of the season.

Yes he wrote the Pirate Planet. He was given the job on the strength of the script for episode one of the Hitch-Hikers Guide to the Galaxy. The following season he got he job of script editor.

Actually Strella apparently has slight differences in her appearance to Romana but humans can't notice them at a naked eye but just Time Lords do Because the same face would exist everywhere in space and time

So did you like the Voord? this is my first time seeing your videos and I've never heard of them before but they do look neat. From what little I've seen, I like your summaries/recaps.

The Voord were kinda meh tbh. They weren't bad per se, but they definitely weren't the Dalek replacement that the producers hoped for. It didn't help that they barely did anything in their introductory story. Just hung about either looking evil or talking about how evil they were.
