I went to Santorini 2 years ago and just loved it

Greece has always been on our short list. Beautiful video !!!!

Really I joyed this one. My oldest daughter and her family are flying home today from a trip to Greece.They took our 3 grands who are in med school along with them. Our son is law is of Greek descent on both sides. He had not been to the old country before. Amazing memories made!

Thank you Helle for this beautiful vlog. I visited Santorini in1978 as a backpacker after spending a year in Israel. My Parisian girlfriend Nicole and I visited Naxos, Amorgos, Santorini and Ikaria over a period of almost three months. Santorini has evolved but it is still very beautiful. Glad you enjoyed it. Came across your channel recently, love your knitting and all. I can relate to quite a few things, musings. Like you I took up knitting again after a break of about 25 years when our daughter announced she was pregnant with our first grandchild, that was 11 years ago. Like you I take my knitting everywhere, every outing, vacation; my hubby is the driver. Blessings, looking forward to watching many more great videos.

Beautiful Santorini. My 101 year old neighbour was born on the island of Ikiaria which doesnt seem to get the attention of the bigger islands like Santorini, probably because its a poorer cousin.

Thank you for sharing your time in Santorini. The island is well known for its beauty and night life but your video’s focus on parts of the island that many people don’t frequent. We happen to be spending our summer in Astypalaia and we try to visit another island or two during our stay, Santorini was never on the agenda, after viewing your video the island was placed on the list of places to explore next year. Thank you for your podcasts which kept me company, along with many others, during my stay in Greece.

I do think you picked the perfect location for your stay. The cozy residence, the pool (practically to yourselves) the view, the cat and the food. I did feel the heat and the humidity, so thanks for sharing that too 😎. Sunglasses and a hat is what the days called for. BTW, really enjoyed your last knitting video, even though I don't knit. I was going to ask how the Joni top was in the heat, but you answered my question in the video! 😅 You travel the way I do - I prefer to get an authentic feeling for the places I go. One of my favorite things to do in new places is to go grocery shopping. It sounds weird, but it's a fascinating peek into real life. I do like some of the touristy things, of course, but I need that authenticity to feel like I've really seen a place. This video has made Greece climb up a bit higher on my bucket list, so thank you for that! 😍 Also, I will make sure to bring my sun umbrella with me if we visit in the summer. 😏

Oh my! . That was a lovely trip you took us on. You made Santorini look like a dream island.. a bit of island sightseeing, nice walks through village labyrinths, restaurant samplings, chilling out by the pool, more walks, and throw in a bit of anthropological dig sites.. who could ask for more, right? BTW did you see any minotaurs during any of your perambulations? Just kidding! :) Kudos for the all the work you put into this and thank you for sharing. I feel like I just had a mini Greek vacation.

I have to say that this is the most wonderful and beautiful Santorini video I've seen. My wife and myself stayed there in October in Perissa. A lot of the video we see on RU-vid aren't showing the beauty of Santorini, but are people showing off. Your video however is perfect. Great video and narration, your voice is very relaxing to listen to...may I ask in the heat of July, did the airconditioning in your rental car breakdown or something, did the company not provide you a car with airconditioning...it must be tough to drive around inside in the heat.
