Hi! You can export tracking results to the Cinema 4D first, then export them in the format you need from there and use them in any other software. Unfortunately, that's the only option at the moment.
@@keentools thank you, yes and for those who don't have c4d but 3ds max, there is an after effect free plugin (AE Transfer ) on the web to export all scéne on 3ds max, works well and can also be exported to other software afterwards
Unfortunately, there's no direct way to export tracking results from After Effects to Blender at the moment. That's why we don't plan to make a tutorial about it. However, as a workaround, you can export tracking results to Cinema 4D first and then export them from there in the format Blender supports.
Please make sure that you pre-compose correctly: Pre-compose > Move all attributes into the new composition. If you do it this way and the issue still persists, please send us an email to team@keentools.io with the detailed info (your OS, After Effects, GeoTracker versions).
It's different. With GeoTracker you can get a true 3D position of a moving object and parent your layers to it. In contrast, a planar tracker gives you only a plane (which is so-called 2.5D) and it's applicable only for flat surfaces.
Hi! Currently, we don't offer a direct exporting option to Blender, but you can still export tracking results to Cinema 4D Lite first (it comes with AE for free). And then, you will be able to export them from C4D Lite in the FBX format, for example, and use this file in Blender. We're also working on GeoTracker for Blender at the moment, so in the future, it would be possible to use the add-on in Blender itself.
@@keentools Thanks for your response, actually i found a great way to export from after effects to blender using a addon called Ae2Blend, although it would be nice to have geotracker the camera moving and not the null and integrated inside blender as a addon :) but so far is a good solution!
