Another super fun video, love the commentary ! This one made me think of that one time I tried blending my meal cause I just couldn't muster the courage to eat it and it was the worst thing I've ever done 😂
Brian shaw got me into ground bison haha, so good with white rice and two avocados goes CRAZY, motivates me to eat big and work out harder; seriously such. powerful meal and I eat that about 2x a day, around 1600-1800 calories 200 grams of protein; weighing about 215 and 170 pounds of muscle not bad I wanna get more lean! I like my size just want to shred now and cut
He was over the top but at the same time it's not like he's rude. Yeah it's a pain and extra work but when you're paying tons of $$$ for a hotel and the service, you should expect good quality. That's not a cheap $80 a night hotel.
Great video! Your commentary game is good. You said one thing that didn't sound right though. 12 ounces of cooked bison does not equal two pounds raw. Meats typically lose 25% of their weight during cooking. Therefore 12 ounces cooked equals one pound raw. 😁👍 Chocolate flavored cod shake 😝😂
I think Phil had already won his 5th olympia when this video came. He introduced himself as 5 time mr olympia in the beginning of that video. I wished to see a full day of eating with phil on this channel but that did not happen. A wave of nostalgia hits you when you realize you have watched alll muscle and strength videos from almost a decade ago.

@@martinf.2457 his metabolic rate with or without PED drugs is still dramatically above others. It’s a blessing and a curse for a tall bodybuilder to have a metabolism like Juan. Somewhat easier to get super lean but very challenging to put on quality size due to The required food intake .

Shaw said Vertical was good for his body comp, but really made getting enough calories in to support the frame he needed super difficult, which is why he went back to Nathan Payton's more flexible approach. Everyone I know who has tried monster mash with stock says its delicious, but I just don't agree with not having FODMAPs in a diet if you dont have the kind of digestive issues that require it. Too much healthy stuff
Thank you sharing this! Now I don't feel to bad when I combine different foods so it will taste better😅For example, I can NOT eat eggs by its self...if I where to just scramble some eggs in a pan with a little butter...I will get phyically ill🤢no joke...if I even smell scrambled eggs after it comes off the hot pan..I will get sick🤮To prevent this I would brown some ground turkey or lean ground beef....I would cook the ground meat until its cooked through...I'd add salt and pepper to taste along with sauteed onions and pepper...after the onions and pepper are sauteed, then I would add the eggs...then I would stir in the eggs until its done....then I'd eat it😀 and I won't get nauseated...when food is warm like this....its better for my stomach...and I keep it down...don't know if its a mental this but.....that seems to work for me....perhaps people reading this could give it a try👍🏾

Youre paying for room service, why wouldnt you send it back so that its exactly to your taste? I do like my oats runny so I wouldnt have send them back, but ordering a egg white omelet and that b comes yellow its like come on 😅

I know I may get a bit of hatred for this; however, I do believe that if Phil were to compete again, he's got a shot at the title. He admitted that he shouldn't have competed the last time; still, to me, he is one of the most aesthetic well-rounded athletes of his era. Fish for breakfast and splenda totally blew my mind (what the...). I won't comment on fish shakes (cod and protein poweder what the...), I remember the video when Sadik blended rice and fish; hell, I am not doing that.

I can't fathom eating all this food all cooked in a dry fucking pan. Grill some damn food, roast some meat, cook something in sauce and/or with seasoning other than salt. Being a miserable, flagellate, ascetic must be the point.
You’re just projecting your own opinion lol. I eat just plain ground beef in a pan with some salt and tastes perfectly fine. The fat from the beef already soaks the pan so it isn’t “dry”.. beef itself already tastes great, and salt is a plus. I don’t feel a need for anything else. Just because you’re miserable without some explosion of flavors in every meal doesn’t mean everyone is.
