weird people make me feel sain the reason for that is that businesses are going to take this into account, they are not stupid. They are going to raise the price slightly for other shoppers who are not using coupons and this will affect the rest of us. Personally, I don't mind that people use coupons considering the companies are making them but I understand their implications.
Huy Thai it's not just the tomato soup. Most of your other grocery shopping is increasing in price as well. Whilst this increase may not be felt by you in the period of a month, it will be felt by you in a period of a year or more when you realise that you can buy less with the same amount of money. Although saying that, inflation is the bigger issue for shoppers and grocery shops themselves introduced coupons so they know what they are doing.
Huy Thai true but I don't believe that if other stores made competitive prices, people will go there en masse. Brand loyalty and TV advertisements prevent people from switching (in the UK some people buy groceries from Tesco, Asda, Saynsbury's, etc..., I don't know the American equivalent).
Huy Thai I only know about Walmart. You are right about it and also the amount of customers that are actually using this level of coupons is very small because of how time consuming it is. Tesco and Asda had to lower their prices because of cheap German stores like Lidl and Aldi. So yeah, I concede. You are right :-).
Hey Arnold I get anxious when my items are being rung up and there's a line behind me. It's really bad when I'm getting everything I need out of my purse ( I don't put my cards or cash away in the same spot). I feel like I'm being glared at. Even more so when the line has been slow.
Amanda Morse I carry a binder I make it really easy and quick but at the same time I don’t do Halls like this my stores don’t let me do these big big hauls like that I always know what I’m going to get before I go get it so I already have my coupons ready know how many I’m using so it only takes about three minutes at the most for me
Here in California, doble coupons doesn't exist. Most of the coupons we get are buy one get one half off, or coupons have some type of restrictions, so for me it's not really a deal.
The Creation May I didnt say they were gonna eat all of that i was just saying they are giving away almost all of the items which steee said they didnt.
Everyone is hating on them for using coupons and saving money. I worked in retail and would love it when i saw a customer save money. I coupon but not to that extreme but it saves my family money
Rebekah Pentecost it affects the boss not the cashier at the end of the day its good to be happy that the boss I.E the owners of wallmart or target suffer (not your manager) as they will eventually make the cashiers suffer by making them redundant and automating them like they are already doing
People tend to forget that you don't just pay with money, you pay with the hours in your life. All that time spent researching, collecting and shopping probably took ages to arrange, valuable time that they could've invested in a job they love. And at the end of the day they still just go home with products decided by the coupons, not their free choice.
Well there lucky, my local supermaket limits 4 like coupons per transaction. So if I want 40 of a item, I have to split them up into 8 different transactions. Never the less I still get around $150 worth of products a week and try to spend less then $1
Couponers cause lost of profit to the retailers and producers. They have been cracking down on coupon quantities, store member quantities, and coupon expiration dates for a few years now at lots of stores. You would think couponing is great for people who share with their communities and have large families. However, i seen lots of products go to waste, couponers making it impossible for normal people to take advantage of sales, and they can be quite rude if a transaction doesn't go their way.
Usually the coupons are manufacturers coupons, and the store gets paid to have them scanned. They make money everytime you save, thats why they want you to save.
Why are they always in pairs of 2 ?? . and they will fight you back and they don't even really the full requirements and rules of some cupons. they are so anoying. all they get are small travel items that after they get piles of for free they want to sell more expensive than the the regular size at the store! !!!!
God bless them for donating most of their items for charity! I would be terrified of taking all those shopping carts up to the cash register. What if my coupons didn't work and I had a large bill? I've had cashiers roll their eyes at me and give me attitude whenever I just use one coupon. LOL Extreme couponers have a lot of courage!
How did they get $.55 printables for the gold fish. There is 42 of them, if you are only able to print 2 per computer did they have 21 printer? That sure doesn't make sense to me! Also can you explain why Fry's would bend their coupon policy just for these ladies? Their coupon policy states 3 like coupons per order.
androshi No, you have it all wrong, it's 1 coupon per item UNLESS you have 1 STORE coupon and 1 MANUFACTURER per item, you CAN NOT use 3 manufacturer coupons per item, that's breaking the rules! I have been couponing for 2 years!!
Back when I did couponing I got 3 coupons per browser... So my single computer had internet explorer, chrome, firefox, opera, etc... then I also used my BFs with the same browsers.... That would have been 24 for just 2 computers... I did this in around 2013 and this video is from 2011, but it is most likely different now... Wouldn't know I haven't couponed in probably over 5 years or so...
The store gets reimbursed everytime a coupon is scanned, they literally are making money by letting customers save money. It doesn’t even matter anyway, they get paid to let customers save, otherwise stores would not use coupons.
In Canada almost all coupons say "this coupon cannot be combined with any other coupon" when I was a cashier I never go more than at most 3 coupons for 1 person.
What they are doing is really sweet and kind giving some of it to charity and away to other people If I was doing this and saving a lot of money I would give some of it to the Food Bank’s because we need more people helping we need more people like that who help other people and I don’t even do this but I still give to the Food Bank’s even if it is just a little I give food toys and clothes because they take other stuff then just food but if I did do this I would give a lot more because when I help other people it makes me happy to see them happy and if you help other people they might help you when you need it as well
Yes most have an expiration date. I believe most companies manufacture coupons in order to promote their products and entice people to at least try an item so if the customer likes it they continue to purchase it coupon or not in the future.
In the U.K. vouchers or “coupons” as you call them have terms and conditions, all of them state “cannot be combined with any other offers, discounts or vouchers”
Look up www.bargainstobounty.com and it will show u wat stores in the area that double coupons and take coupons. I am a couponer myself and been doing it for alil over a year now. It’s really easy once u get understanding of the lingo and deals.
MissJerseyDoll Heyo, just curious, do you actually save money or just end up buying stuff you don't necessarily need? Being real here, we don't have coupons where I'm from so I am curious about that way of life.
Lol you can’t do this at my store. Grocery stores operate on razor thin profit margins so my store basically stopped allowing this all together. Also it really screws with department managers when the shelf was full of items so they didn’t order it for the next day only to find out they’ve been cleaned out the next time they come in 😂
That One Guy lol no in the apocalypse they will be killed they are as big as whales and won't be able to fight or run and people are more likely to target them for food
There are lots of youtubers that show you step by step on how to do it and which coupons do you need or if they are news papers, prints or store coupons. Is really easy once you get it. And in facebook there are groups that helps with the couponing and even sells them at great price.
Annie Lane Couponers cause loss of profit thus leading to inflation and price increases. Poor people will become poorer, the rich will become poor as well
From what I've seen they spend so many hours on collecting sorting and researching coupons and sales it's not worth it. Also if you don't coupon you can eat real food.
I saw this and I was like "haha I live in AZ I wonder if this was anywhere near me.." AND IT IS. It's thanks to these ladies that we cant double coupon :-))))
I have to ask this: seeing that they are both obese, will their "savings" be offset by medical bills in the future? Everything they "saved" on is either processed food or personal care products loaded with chemicals. I'd rather pay $100 for whole-foods and organic produce, which never have coupons.
Valerie Ramirez even if he was referring to whole foods in the context in which you presumed, how is Whole Foods a scam? Just because you choose not shop there because maybe the prices are not feasible for you, does not make it a scam 😂
Why. Manufacturers put out these coupons for people to use. And Store's often put out sales and promotions to get more people to buy that product. When a store accepts a coupon they then mail them into one of the 3 major coupon addresses and the company reimburses them.
Dont u had idea or common sense that how coupon save urself or family if u had big and how u save ur money for emergency sample and coupon is money too as u doesnt know u only known is being social life slend what u had and u no thinking 1st urself or ur family that how are they doing instead u help them
Sometimes I wonder how all the extreme couponers are doing considering so many coupon policies have changed over the years and put ALOT of limitations lol
