EXTREME DEEP CLEAN, ORGANIZE, RESTOCK & DECLUTTER WITH ME!  

Hello everyone & welcome back to the Danni RaeArranged YT channel, welcome if you are new, thank you for being here with me today! I wanted to comment on a couple of things #1 this video is almost like a vlog, so it's very, very chatty but hopefully really motivating, per usual I jam packed as much as I possibly could in today's video, it was necessary as December is here and my house is a "complete disaster 😂" I was actually going to make a short video, but that certainly didn't happen. So, I just wanted to let you know it's almost like a vlog. #2 at the end of the video when I empty the mop bucket into the toilet, on the floor next to the toilet, that is not pee, its wax 😂#3 pretty sure when I was talking in the 4 season about gifts/my gift bin, my shirt was inside out LMBO #4 I wanted to talk more about some of the things that were brought to the cabin and then brought back to my house, but I didn't get enough time, we will discuss that in the next basement video, which I'm hoping will be the next video, if not the next video, for sure the video after. Okay that's about it, here is my book LMBO Love & appreciate ya so much!

Love the video!! I have been keeping my house tidy. I busted butt to get it in manageable order. Now I can do a 20 min pickup. And, the place is clean. I finally deep cleaned the den. And, put our Christmas 🎄 up. I am down to one room out of 9. It will take me a solid month to get it decluttered, clean, and organized. I got all the old food out of the refrigerator. Need to clean it and the stove. Laundry is staying done and put away. I can not thank God enough. For giving me the strength and the boost I prayed for. I have been reading my Bible and listening to gospel music. And, I can feel my mood and attitude changing. Thank you for being yourself. Thank you for making me laugh. Loved seeing your Mom. Your house is beautiful. Messy or clean. You are beautiful with or without makeup. I hope you have an amazing week!

On the cool morning of december 5th, i debated opening a bottle of wine at 8am to replace my coffee. My slow march to 30 just hit a sprint as i hit 28, my house looks like it vomited christmas and not in a good way. The Thanksgiving mess of 30 people was still halfway staring at me from acouple days before, and the damn little elves were mocking me as they spread glitter and confettii all over my house. I felt this video in my soul, and i appreciate this video so much. Is this life? Yes. Is it messy? Oh you betcha! Much love my northern friend from kentucky we will survive december!

I'm at the part where you're comparing yourself unfavorably to other cleaning videos and had to hit pause. I subscribed because of your chaotic energy, not in spite of it! I love your vibe, and authenticity is always better than some fake ideal :)

I haven’t read the comments, but I’m sure other people are saying the same thing. Don’t change videos! Don’t try to be more calm! Don’t change a thing! I love your energy. Your videos are extremely motivating! I watch calm cleaning videos when I am resting. Your videos are entertaining and motivating. Keep doing what you’re doing! I love it!

You don't need to make shorter videos. As soon as I finish a new one I go back to the begining and watch it again 😂. Love it as always.

Danni, may I make a suggestion? I discovered many years ago that I would get totally stressed out with all the stuff I needed to get done. So I compartmentalized my home. I clean the kitchen every day; dishes, counters, stove, microwave, etc. I do bedrooms on Fridays. That's when I strip the beds. Then I move onto the bathrooms and clean the sinks, counters, showers and toilets. While I'm doing that my washing machine is going. On Tuesday, more laundry. I also grocery shop on Tuesday. Mondays I go around all rooms and do a quick tidy after the busy weekend. This shouldn't take more than 30-45 minutes. One day a week, usually Wednesdays, I do a special project like dust, clean the windows or mop/vacuum the floors. I pretty much leave Saturday & Sunday open. Thursday is up for grabs...if I didn't finish something, like folding laundry or restocking my pantry, then I do it. By breaking down the tasks at hand it's not so stressful or over whelming. Make a schedule, post it on your refrigerator, check each day off and stick with it. You'll be surprised!!!! I hope this helps you. We all struggle Danni; you are not alone.

Danni, the glass, ceramic or other material containers for candles are made of fire-resistant material. 🌋for this reason they can be used to cook pudding in them 🍮 in the oven or to heat something in the microwave, 🥛they can withstand high temperatures. I always save glasses from candles, 🕯to wash off the wax, use vegetable oil. I even sometimes buy candles with the intention of cooking dessert in them in the future🍨

I just found your channel today and I'm so glad I did. Your cleaning videos are the most realistic and relatable on RU-vid. Not to mention that your sense of humor about everything made me laugh countless times. I feel so much of what you said about my own home and it's a breath of fresh air to watch a content creator that doesn't try to make their life seem perfect and have on a gorgeous outfit and perfect hair while they're cleaning up what looks like the most minor of messes which is so ridiculous and again, totally unrelatable. Your channel is awesome. 😊

I know you think that your videos are "chaotic" for lack of better words, but I resonate so much with you and your channel. At one point you made me confident enough to consider starting a cleaning channel. Most of the channels out there are too perfect and unrealistic for my life and yours is amazing. My house is way more cluttered than yours but I know it's organized. I just struggle with spots for everything. Lol. And it feels like I'm watching and talking to a friend while cleaning. Thank you for your honesty and realism. Never change.

I think you need to give yourself some grace regarding trying to do everything and be everything to everyone. Make sure to rest and take care of yourself. Danni, Decluttering is never one and done. I have a box I keep in a closet and as I find something I put it in and when full off it goes. I found years ago that I plan the night before my home tasks for the next day and as time evolved I even put a time on each thing. It really kept me on task. Example.. Monday all sheets and dusting. Tuesday..Vac and mop. Wednesday.. bathrooms. Thursday.. white laundry Friday..darks etc etc. Always remember you aren't alone. Love you! Hugs.

My precious Erica’s birthday was December 26th on Boxing day. She’s the daughter I lost 7 years ago. I went into labour on Christmas morning that year. I was opening Christmas presents in between contractions. It was surreal. I got the best Christmas present when she was born at 1:02 am the next morning. She was my Christmas baby. Boxing day is still hard every year. So is Christmas Day but I’m so grateful for my family and my 2 grandsons Erica left behind. We are still blessed. Merry Christmas to you and your family Danielle and enjoy those December birthdays.

Your family should never be a distraction. I lost my mom 12 years ago to cancer. I wish everyday that she was still here. My daughter is 27 now and I wish I had spent more time with her as a child. I am trying to give my grandkids my full attention but sometimes it doesn’t work.

Just take a deep breath when you feel overwhelmed. You are awesome person. Beautiful home.

Seems like a lot of people are overwhelmed, after getting Covid last year my anxiety is pretty high at times. Today was one of those days. Seeing you and your mom put a smile on my face. Every year I tell myself, I'm going to start early that way I won't get stressed and can enjoy the season. Never-ever happens. I just decorated yesterday, have not bought one single present and will have to go grocery shopping next week. However, with all that said, as I get older, each year I simplify the holidays. I have my birthday too this month just before Christmas ! 🎄 🎅🏻🧑🏻‍🎄🤶🏻🎂🎄 Yeah lots of planning,shopping,cooking,coordinating,cleaning! It’s a busy time without Sagittarius birthday season! Happy birthday to all the Sagittarius people out there.🎉

SO you know you have 365 days between birthdays and Christmas. Last year my friend and I were both overwhelmed with Christmas. And I said Hey you know we know it is coming why are we stressed? we both worked on it. I wrapped 90% of my Christmas presents before Nov. 1st. Now this week I am putting on the bows and making them pretty to go under the tree. The BEST advice I received was in preparation for my wedding. A friend suggested a weeding box. Place everything for the wedding in one box. It saved me. I spread anything I needed for the wedding on the table and then put it all in the box. So you know December is rough. Consider planning one big freezer meal each week for the crockpot. Also One box for each Birthday, balloons, plates napkins. For the day after Thanksgiving/Christmas, my aunt made a big crockpot of chili. it gave us something to eat when we wanted not having to wait for a meal, a bunch of teenagers in her house!!! Best wishes!!! SOOOO!!!! understand the deep breaths!!!

Quick story about having too many spare gifts. The Osbornes were/are a prominent Arkansas family. The Osborne lights at Disneyworld were from them. They, after a series of events and the father's passing, went bankrupt and the house and contents were sold off. They had a HUGE closet of wrapped gifts, to give out to surprise guests at Christmas. We're talking video game systems, high end toys, you name it and it was wrapped in that closet. All those gifts ended up being bought, still wrapped, and sold at a flea market. Being prepared is good. Being overly prepared can be excessive and hurt you, be it in space you want or money you don't need to spend. Good job!

I could so relate to how you feel to so many things. Something about December 1st puts my brain in overdrive too, huge family so lots goes with that, birthdays, holidays, cooking, decorating, shopping, etc. I LOVE candles and do the same as you, use the leftover for wax melts and always want to repurpose those jars. I start cleaning and am OCD neat, clean and organized so always get distracted decluttering as I go. Technology, nope, horrible at that and always have to wait and ask my grandkids for help. I think my brain just short circuits I swear 😂. Wait until you’re 65+, time goes by so fast and the body can’t keep up with my endless to do lists. New Year’s resolutions…nope gave up on those years ago as I failed miserably at them. Happy 2024!

Everyone has too much stuff. I had to laugh about the dryer diy. But it’s not as crazy as the story I’m going to tell you. I bought a washer in 2009, it died after 5 years and would cost $540.00 to fix it. My friend got a new washer & gave me her old one. My sister swore she would get the other one fixed. But I picked up the free one, moved my old one out, hooked up the working washer. Was preparing to put mine on the curb. My sister had a fit didn’t want it in the garage. She kept that washer in the dining room for years. I finally moved it to the garage a few years ago. And recently had guy move it out on junk pick up day. At least your dryer wasn’t in your dining room! And it’s lighter than a washer. You can shove it out of the way! I think my sister is a little cra-cra 😂

Yes I’m watching this 5ish months later. This is like looking in the mirror at myself!! I explain that feeling, you’re trying to explain (too much caffeine feeling), “my body goes into overdrive mode.” it feels like you’re overwhelmed/anxious bc all you think of when you see the mess is “I gotta do this before I do that. That stuff needs to go into the trash or recycle. Or Where do I even start 🤯” etc. I also Iove to DIY!! To make matters worse, I’m OCD about cleaning to make matters worse 🤦🏻‍♀️.

You have a busy December! I like how you cleaned up everything and it all has a home! I'm excited to see the basement makeover! Also, seems better that hall closet is for coats , I think go for it in the mud room!! Put some sort of heating in if needed, a faux fire place?? And get your self a real command center! U will have more space if using the mudroom, basement and four season room to spread out a kid craft zone somewhere, and a real desk and command center for you!! I'm excited about the mudroom too

A couple years I heard about the term “clutter threshold”. Everybody is different. I found that for me, i would do a bunch of decluttering, and then when I thought I was finished, I would notice the messes creep up again. And so I would Declutter some more. Decluttering is never one and done but I’ve now found that spot where I can tidy up my house easily in 15 minutes. I tell ya, if you haven’t heard of Dana White - you should check her out!

Hi, Dani! Yahoo! Another video! Love it! I really like the snowman shower set you got. Where did you find that? Too cute! I started going thru my Christmas decor and separating the things I want to keep and the things I want to give my daughter and granddaughters. Since I hardly have people over for Christmas I do little decorating. I do have a sofa table I call my boyfriends memorial table and decorate for the seasons. It has special pictures and things that remind me of him. This will be my second Christmas without him. We did have at least two Christmas’s before he past away. I still miss his smile and his sweetness. You would have liked him. Everyone did. Playing guitar his whole life kept him going. He almost became famous. Back in the day when we were dating, his band played with The Rolling Stones the first time they came to Michigan. I thought he would get closer to fame and I couldn’t fit into that frame of mind. He did work with a local band that had some hit songs and that band was The Unrelated Segments. He played for that band for a few yrs then went to California to live for awhile. Funny how things come around again. So happy we found each other again before he past away. Sorry for the rant. Great video! Hugs to you and hope Ian is feeling well. I've used concrete paint.. it is not the greatest! It will definitely look much better than what you have now but it needs a lot of time to cure and you would want to stick furniture pads on everything. It actually ended up being cheaper for me to finally just purchase the thinnest peelnstick tiles i could find.

You are doing good. It’s hard work keeping up with a house. It helps significantly to just buy less or nothing. But with growing kids, I have 4 it just needs done all the time.

A rule I made for myself might help you. Any item I use. And dish or cup I dirty, put it away! I am the example for my kids. They watch and emulate me.

The Pomodoro system. I use it daily at work to stay on task and remember to take a break. That is also time I don't let coworkers stop to chit chat. Works amazing once you start using it. Don't know why I never thought to use it at home! Great idea, thank you. ❤

Oh my gosh girl has it's been a week for us!!! So our dryer went out last Friday. So we decided to get a whole new set washer and dryer. So now we are going to do a makeover on our laundry room but we are looking into things on doing it. Now that we are headed into cooler weather I'm so not motivated to do any cleaning. So I totally understand that you are busy. Great video and I agree about getting rid of the dryer!!!😂

If it was me I would take the dryer apart and use the cabinet as either a work counter or a compost bin, and repurpose the drum as a planter... but I totally get not repurposing it too. Maybe you could at least take it to a scrap yard and get some money for it? Or post it on buy nothing for someone willing to try and fix it? 🤔

Hi Danni! i don't think decluttering ever truly ends, or as you said "will i ever be done?!" .... things break, get worn out, get used up, our tastes change, etc. i think the day we're "done" is when we're dead! aside from 1 large breed dog, i live alone. i don't like to shop much or decorate, preferring my house to be almost steril/empty. ...yet there's always things that i "find" to declutter when i clean - broken, worn out, used up, etc... or ask "why did i keep this piece of string?! i don't want that!" you obviously have a larger household then me (me and the dog vs you, hubby, kiddos, and pets)... my maintenance decluttering is going to be different from your maintenance decluttering - remember that! the decluttering your doing now is maintaining the level of space you gained downsizing the last couple years! 😊 last thought: i find watching your videos funny AND calming. Why? Because i'm not the one being on the video/creating it, i just get to enjoy it! If i were on camera while cleaning and decluttering, i too would feel "not calming" (i dont like people watching me, and im very conscious of my wording; plus i just get irritated at myself when i clean). Don't strive to clean "calmer" then your natural rhythm, continue to keep your channel real and just be you and your style! Myself and (guessing that) everyone else watching your vids, do it because we like and feel we can connect with you 😁

I had a crazy thought about your living room furniture and the bay window. You mentioned in an old video you weren’t sure how to make that more of a feature with the sofa size etc. So, my brain always seems to be churning on stuff like that…. 🤷🏼‍♀️😆. What *if* since the French doors are extra for that bedroom, you close them and treat it like a wall? On both sides they could hide behind curtains or a screen and for the living room you could place the back of the sofa on that wall, shift the tv unit to the corner by the bay window, and you’d have room to add a cute chair by the bay window with Christmas village decor for Dani relaxation time.🥰 just a crazy thought. 👍 Great video as always!!!

What a coincidence! We have a lot of December birthdays too. My mom's is the 9th, my brother's is the 12th (he's less than a year younger than me), my daughter's is the 17th, and mine is the 20th. It's bonkers!

I saw you tryin' to get friskie with Ian, lol. That's how we married ladies do it😂! I also know that after Ian became sick, I think that life has a way of making us step back and assess how important the people in our lives really are to us. I recently had to have surgery. Usually, if I'm not home for a day or two, I'd bitch and gripe about the full sink of dishes or the mess my kids and husband made. This time, it was different. I think I was just so happy to be home that I actually didn't care. I knew that it would all get done eventually. I do wish however, that my real life, cleaning my house could be like your videos; whereas there is a beginning and at the end, it's all clean lol. I haven't seen to get there yet. But, I'm confident that one day it will (hopefully lol)😊❤🤶🧑‍🎄🎁🎄😘

You do your videos really good so don't compare yourself to other people's videos. Just do you that's what we all love. Your mother is so cute...loved her reaction when you told her she was being filmed. Gosh she's really gotten braver being filmed she's great!

Yeppers 🤣 If you want a routie like the woman who had a weekly schedule, start with 1 or 2 things. So do what you normally do but from now on on Mondays you'll do X and on Fri you'll do Y and then eventually those will be regular habits. I'm assuming that'll work, my apartment is a toatl mess so I have no clue, but it sounds good. 😂

Have u thought about a covered clothing rack..to put in basement ...to swap out seasonal clothing?

How many different decluttering, cleaning and organizing methods have you tried? Maybe you could make your own “Dani Method” using the useful parts of the other ones you have tried. There are bits that work for you in each of them. Use your strategies that you have developed over the years to get better at your job of “stay at home Mom”.

You are so cute and fun. I can definitely relate to getting distracted, I do it all the time. Im supposed to sewing but find myself playing a video game, oh well. It gets done eventually. I do use the timer method and it works. ❤

I de clutter everyday !! Anything I come across that I don't need or want goes in a box in my spare room, when it's full it all goes to a charity shop 😃💐

Danni, why don’t you prepare to-do lists during the summer, a script or order of tasks, gifts for December? 🤔 when there are so many events in one month, does it turn out to be some kind of impossible task? 🤯 and when you have a ready-made scenario with options: A, B, C, this could cancel the anxiety about the occurrence of these events. 🤓I think it’s easier to do everything quickly, as soon as the deadline has come. Every year when completing these tasks, you would add something there or change the order of actions. 🤔 Have you tried these lists?

I love your videos. I love watching them while I'm at the gym on my bike ride. As for the Instagram problem on your phone, you most likely need to clear your cache or uninstall Instagram and then reinstall. I hope this helps.

The jarred candles.... I buy these just as much for the gorgeous jar as I do the scented candles, because I like to repurpose them as containers for other things! The problem is: I almost never burn these candles because burning candles is not a habit of mine. It's not like I'm SAVING them for "a special time", it's just not something I do much of anymore. (I used to burn them a lot.) As for bananas: freeze them peeled.

I also give off a vibe that messes with technology. I shut down credit card machines and cash registers. Burn out light bulbs when I am angry. I am a chaos magnet in general. But for sure with electronics. Humans are highly electrical.

This is why I really love your videos, you're not perfect either 😂 I'm so sorry to break the news to you like that. I really love your bouncy videos because I do the same. I don't have a family helping me to clutter my apartment down (up? Don't know english well enough) but for some strange reason every time I have been cleaning and it looks great it just takes seconds to destroy it all. Like when I do the dishes, I don't have a dishwasher, and everything is put away and my kitchen shines, then I have to eat, and then I don't clean my dishes right away, I'll do them later, I promise, but then there's a tv show or some youtube video I just have to watch and then I have to go to my mom and go shopping for some food and my niece is there and I have to be the best auntie for her so I help her with her craft projects since I'm auntie crafty, and when I go home late in the evening I just have to relax a little and then I have to do some craft projects and the dishes is just sitting there until the next day, and then I have a headache and just have to go lay down (I have a chronic severe headache desease) and then I just have to put on a load of laundry as I don't have something to wear, and...well that's just the dishes, I also can't keep the clutter away from any part of my apartment, it's a small apartment (I guess it's tiny in America) and really no storage as I don't have more than one closet, and it's in my craft room filled up with all my craft stuff, so my clothes is just in a wired rack with drawers and I try to keep it nice as I don't like to not have my clothes neat and tidy (OCD edition) I have ADHD and I guess it's just a bad excuse, but the brain of people with ADHD is different, and mine is lacking the ability to plan and organize and process, and I'm also easy to distract, like if someone on youtube talks about Marie Antoinette I just read about her, and then she would be living in a certain period and I read about that and then my phone rings and I forget about that I was reading and do something else, and then I remember but gets distracted and forget all about reading, but might see it the next day that I was reading. I need to start closing my tabs in my internet browser as it's probably 30 open tabs at once, and that's just like my brain, to many open tasks and my head crashes down 😂 I wish I could install more RAM and a bigger cache memory. I think the idea with the dryer was brilliant, it's just like something I could do myself. I think your basement can be a nice looking place once you paint the floor, it's a great place even if it's not that nice at the moment. (The floor) Loved your living room with your christmas decorations up, it looks so nice. I always try to make my christmas tree look like the American trees, but it doesn't look like it at all as our christmas trees just doesn't have that many branches to hang ornaments on, and we also don't use the same ornaments and such. On my tree I always have Norwegian flags, some people don't like the flags, but for me it represent remembering when Norway was occupied by the Germans during WWII and people couldn't use Norwegian flags, my grandmother told me this, she would have been 100 years today and my goal is always to be rady with my decorations except the tree for her birthday. I can't put up the tree as I have to get one and they don't start selling them before usually the 15th. I really love your house and how you decorate. I agree about the time going faster when you geg older, even though I'm just 47, but I think the year goes by so fast, when I was a kid it took so much time before it was christmas, now I think the christmas come just right after summer. 😅 I think you don't have to have any new year resuloutinons, just go with the flow and keep up the good work with your project on minimalism, you have made me think that I have to have less stuff to 😂 I have a lot, but I just keep decluttering more and more. I don't have lot of clothes, but I have so much things. For some reason people always give me mugs, and I try to get rid of mugs and when I don't have more than I like I get new mugs for christmas. I just want to have things I like, so I have to give them away, and I feel so unthankful for giving them away, but I probably grt new ones next year. 😅
