This is the most beautiful kitchen 10/10. There are only a few minor things I would change. The art book, lamp, and body sculpture are giving more living room. I would change it to a cookbook and use a smaller lamp :) other than that literally so good. 😲

It all looks beautiful - you really have a gift for styling. However, I don’t see any practical things like Cups for the espresso machine or dish soap, cleaning rags or brushes to clean the dishes. I’d like to see those things incorporated in your styling tips for everyday use. I could use some tips for making those things look pretty in a space.

Ohhhhhhhhhh this is SO lovely. Every element….your palette is pure gorgeousness. I love it all , and have enjoyed the lead up to today’s reveal. If this kitchen is on the ground level plant a lovely tree in the ground outside the window. Or in a large pot. For your desired green fix, perhaps a fruit tree. Or a frangipani which will give you winter sun, as they are deciduous, and in spring, summer and Autumn greenery; and creamy (like the cream in your marble) scented frangipanis. I planted three outside my bedroom window (one floor up) for the flower’s scent, Westerly shade and beauty viewed from both my bedroom and my daughter’s bedroom below.

Tip: with open shelving in the kitchen, it’s always best to have your glasses upside down, in order to keep dust out of them. If you put plates on open shelving, to be honest, I would also have the plates stacked upside down for the same reason. If you don’t believe me, just wait, you’ll eventually find out for yourself.

WOW Drew. Stunning job. It’s the perfect amount of modern and antique. It’s very unique and beautiful. Two things I’d like to share from this homeowner/chef/barista make sure you rinse your espresso machine every night and run pure water through it until it’s clear to keep it lasting for you! And get a splatter shield for when you cook or all of your pots/lamp etc WILL get caked with grease and dust 🫣😅 it’s gross to clean lol I cook 3 meals a day for my family 😂 I can’t wait to see what else you do. I love how you go high pitch when you get excited, and I adore everything you do, you have such an amazing eye for beauty and balance. My favorite spot is the one by the kitchen window, with the big pot with the tree branches stretching out of it. Something about it, I can't quite explain, I am a Taurus, I need nature, inside and outside, or I get sick. And the window with the ethereal filtered sunlight and those branches floating really does it for a little earth goddess flavor in the kitchen. Drew, please bare in mind that coffee is acidic and will leave stains (almost immediately) in the beautiful marble. May I suggest you place your coffee machine on a low sided tray to catch the spills & drips. You can find that type of trays on West Elm in many colors, styles. Unless you don’t mind the wear & tear & character of marble.

I absolutely LOVE your style! You have totally changed my preference from French Country to whatever you call yours! When you are starting out with a room, I wonder, “How on earth can that look right?” And then you pull it all together and I’m amazed! Only one little tip - those beautiful copper pans will get splattered, steamed, and covered - unless you plan to polish them often. I have hung mine away from the stove - works a lot better!

Suggestion: try propping up one of those handmade plates against the wall of the shelf so we, or you, can enjoy the lovely pattern on the inside of the plate as well. Also, since I’m suggesting, maybe you could put a live split leaf philodendron in the corner of your living room. They don’t require direct light, just indirect and they are easy to take care of. They are pest resistant, that is, insect/blight. I think the brighter green would be pretty. Love the water color fabric you were gifted. It would make a nice pillow/chair cover on a small chair. You could mix fabrics on the chair if you do have enough of the flower design. I love your house.

As someone who cooks every day, I’m already imagining all of those objects next to and above the stove getting that grimy layer on them. That lamp will be so hard to clean!

Yeah but if it's giving him joy and he will be willing to clean it, then why not? As an Autistic with OCD I would never, because all these objects perceived as clutter by my brain and disturb me on physical level. However, we all are different, and that is the beauty of this world :)

I agree and I’m sure once the stove is working he will rethink the space. I’ll definitely try find workable solutions that looks pretty, like the vase with the spoons. For now it brings joy as per previous comment and I kinda like it too

One more time for the people in the back !! Everything around your rangecooker gets grimmy when you cook. You do not want open shelving there. Unless you love to spend hours every week cleaning, you do you.

I always have a small lamp in our kitchens. It makes for a cozy kitchen especially at night. Great decorating as usual Drew.

The lamp is genius and looks like it was made for the space . The large pot also really looks good as it picks up the copper tones of the pots. Beautiful! Congratulations Drew!
