Imagine if there was a barbeque party and instead of a grill, they bring a non-gaming laptop with the sims 3 with every single DLC installed.

The "super siblings" thing happens when two teens live in a house together, regardless of their actual relationship. I know it's meant for step siblings and the like but it's just weird that it counts any two teens living together as that, makes storytelling a little difficult 😂

I SO hate the stupid random push-ups!! They need to find another way to express a Sim is energetic. Also, I wish they would add a way for you to turn off the mobile phone interaction. Nothing breaks immersion more than your 1890s Sim whipping out their phone to check their feed.🤬 Bring back wall phones!

1:50 Oh, my goodness, yes! The fact that the filters don't work drove me insane; especially before I realized the top left icon being present means I don't have all the content for that lot. I got so frustrated with the Gallery due to it that I didn't use it for years, and only recently started to after I figured out the icon thing. I wish they would fix the filter but at least I don't have to fall in love with a lot, click on it, only to find out I don't have the content for it. Now that I know about the icon I have blinders on and don't even register the ones that have it now, LoL.

Seeing the sims 2 on a Sony Ericsson really just brought back a memory I’d completely forgotten. I was in year 5 or 6, my cousin gave me her old phone. It had sims 2 on it and was a Sony Ericsson too 😂😂 I swear I was addicted to it, I have no idea how I could have forgotten 🤦🏼‍♀️

TS4 does have autosave, just on console. From experience, I have relied on autosave SO much, from accidentally forgetting to save a legacy challenge to forgetting to save halfway through building a really nice apartment, it helps so much, especially as I usually forget to save when going to a different game or turning off my Xbox. I completely agree though, we are WELL overdue for The Sims 5.

The grilled cheese thing is kind of funny that you don't have them. In the US 90% of restaurants offer grilled cheese at least on the kids menu. Also can't believe the eyeball ring is a thing. Anyway funny watch, enjoyed it! Blessings!

That thing about the gallery. Yes the selection menu doesn't work but the gallery will tell you if you miss packs from that lot/sim without even opening each item individually. Look for the little green plumbob thingy on the top left corner of each item. If there is none, you have all the packs you need for that lot, if you see it, you're missing something.

I think the worst thing about the sims resource is that I am alright with waiting to download my cc BUT I need to have multiple tabs downloading cc and not be on that tab that is waiting for the download. If you try and download multiple cc at once tsr won't let you do it and you have to be on that tab.

Ughh my first experience with the University pack was my sim dying at University because he got electrocuted while learning robotics, haven't send any sim off to university since :')

I paid once for the sims ressource they had a sale so i gave basically 2 euros. (I have no idea what that is in dollars but it's about 1,5 pounds) It was a bad decision, sure it was fun to insta download everything and I still have some of the downloads, but honestly their CC is not very good, and doesn't hold up to the standards of other CC

There is actually a fan made Sims cookbook I have on preorder, and I would love to see you remaking sims recipes. Andrew Rae (binging with babish) did some of them on an episode for cottage living last year, but I feel like it would be a totally different experience here! I have always wanted to try making baked Alaska, but for some reason everyone here gets upset when I start talking about setting desserts on fire 🤷🏻‍♀️

Before I had my big pc I would play sims on a gaming laptop and it would get so hot my thighs would get TANNED FROM THE HEAT bc I refused to play at a table or desk. Literal tan lines in the shape of my laptop.

I played the Sims 4 on a non-gaming laptop for years and it was fine. The problems come with a lot of packs and mods.

I don't know if the sims team made that eyeball ring on purpose but in my culture the eyeball(we call it the evil eye bead in turkey) means to protect people from the evil eye ,bad spirits etc. and in 9:27 the listing that you see is that evil eye bead lol.

I remember when Costco sold hamburger cakes from their bakery. I got a hamburger cake for my birthday because I was working at Burger King at the time. I was in my late teens at the time. I might have been 19 going on 20. It's kind of a blur. I also remember when they had these cakes that looked like Hostess's Ding Dongs. We used to get it for birthdays, and it was actually pretty good. It was cake, covered in a thick shell of chocolate icing, with a layer of raspberry filling in the middle. I think it tasted better than a Ding Dong. This was all around the mid to late 90s. I didn't know about Sim 4 until I watched a random video about someone doing a 100 Baby Challenge back in 2018. Once I saw the shark water slide, the hamburger cake and Oasis Springs, I had to have this game. The Hamburger cake was a big draw for me. So, I was pretty disappointed to find out that it was limited to a promotional deal.

All the old side Sims games were amazing! All the Sims 2's on the PS2 were my favorites. Castaways is amazing and I wish they'd do something like it again. Also does anyone remember SimsOnStage? The karaoke website they used to have up. I never see anyone talk about it.

4:35 mysims is actually a whole spin off series. they released a bunch of different games on the DS and Wii, and a lot of mysims stuff is in the sims 4 including the BFF household, mysims figures, mysims racing/mysims go! on gaming consoles and some mysims build and buy stuff. however they stopped releasing games in 2010 or so which sucks. mysims holds a very special place in my heart, i definitely recommend the original game on PC!!

mccc has auto save but its a pain it freezes your game for a couple of seconds and you get a reminded its been saved but its a lifesaver

The Sims Resource has shortened the download time (at least for sims 4) to 15 seconds. Buuuuuut it also times out super quick and you have to redo everything. I do agree though, the subscribtions for TSR are bullsh*t

The incest stuff is because with Wicked Whims, you can have incest so long as you don't get the version from Patreon. So the 2nd person was banking on ppl not knowing that and hoping to pass it off as a weird glitch. But that person just put themselves and their incest fetish on blast lmaoo I'm not kink shaming or anything, i just think its funny they're trying to act like that's the fault of the game when no. It's from WW and you have to go in and turn that setting on. It's off by default.

NO computer WITHOUT a dedicated, discreet, video card should ever be made. Shared RAM between the CPU and GPU is an aberration. Even after the latest updates, I still have brother and sisters falling in love with each other, or with one of their parents. In fact, it happens MORE now than before the release of High-school Years. Romance bar fully pink. My Sims NEVER go to the campus EXCEPT for the 3 courses from invited teachers and give the 5 they need to give. Campus life ? What's that ? Well... In the city where I live, there are 4 universities, THREE of them are in the downtown area, the fourth is close to the geometric centre of the city. There are NO actual campuses, the student housing is city housing. There is an autosave for The Sims4, but you need a mod for that.

I hav bought all dlc for sims4 And I now what I bought and that my wedding storys was broken qnd that I wuld never use the kits but I have money so way not But It took me a wild to anderstand what everybady is talking about I onely have 3 games so dident now normal games was so dame exspensive I found it hilarious that the 4 kits cost as much as the bacgame The bacgame does not have 45 asets So clerly somthing is exstreamly over priced Sorry for bad spelling I have dyslexia

The only reason Sims 4 is still being made is because Sims 5 is going to be able be played online with other player and use virtual reality goggles. Plus it has to be able to be played without it for another version. Plus as you said 4 sucks so they have to change it and make it better. It's gonna be a while before it comes out. And as you said they like easy money
