I saw one hover above a Burger King in Sioux Falls, SD. Blew my mind to see a fighter jet just hanging in the air.

all craft can do this manovere its the pilot that miracously pulls it back into a flyable position and thats regardless of thrust

@testwordz obviously u dont no wat your talking about, the only non thrust vectoring jet that can perfrom the cobra is the f18sh, cand the f22 is 10x more maneuverable than the su35. the su35 can do the hublit, or the j-turn, al manuevers that define super-manuevrability

hahahahahah..... the "pugachev cobra" maneuver is named after victor pugachev did this maneuver in 1983 while test flying the Su 27 proto type.and f 18 will do this maneuver with vectored thrust engine only,

hahahah in htis which maneuvers cant do other aircraft???.....almost all fourth generation fighter aircraft can do this maneuver. Mig 29 did this maneuver in 1986, even with out fly by wire....
