I guess even with 1 stop you woudn't reach top 7. If you stayed to the end you would have no pace and if you extended the 1st stint, the wouldn't be undercut which helped you pretty well.

Would you ever consider doing a general setup video for f1 2019? I've. Rather than showing a specific setup for any given track you just give a quick overview on how each setting with change the cars performance and enable people to play around with their own setups a bit more? I for one really want to come up with my own setups but looking at those screens is incredibly intimidating and I don't really know where to start

I got clobbered at Suzuka. I assumed it's because I just suck but hearing you talk about the AI makes me feel a bit better. @Tiametmarduk, have you already covered why you don't share setup info? Proprietary? If it was something you'd be willing to do it would mean the world to many of us.

Not really a fan of mid season transfers tbh, would be nice to have an option to enable it only at the end/beginning of the season.

How slow was that pitstop Ben? Damn, stalling on the launch and sitting with the pit limiter on for a good three seconds on exit.

“I cannot fathom how this is possible.” Well, believe it or not Ben, just because a car is good at Canada, doesn’t mean they’ll be good in Japan. That’s the whole point of having multiple fields of development. The Haas has a Ferrari Engine in the back of it, so it has the speed on the straights, but its chassis is nowhere near the level of the Works-Ferrari team. Out of all the RU-vidrs I have seen play this, I don’t know how nobody acknowledges that. Your pace is going to change depending on the circuit. You’re not a professional, you don’t have the same consistency of the real life F1 drivers. The car shouldn’t have the same pace at different circuits, you should be slower at some circuits and faster at others. That’s the way F1 is.

i get the feeling from the vids I've seen that the mid season transfers will happen way to frequently... It's only really been Red Bull at it IRL and what a handful of season in the recent history, (injury/deaths aside). End of season, by all means, go mental.... but mid season shouldn't be every year.

it'd be cool if contracts actually worked. like if a guy had 3 years left on his contract, he has to stay somewhere for 3 years, unless he was far below team expectations

I can totally relate to the ai changes diff. per track, in career some tracks I cannot get near the points, other I battle for podium like i’m in a ferrari (i’m riding McLaren) all on the same difficulty...

Clearly the engineers thought their driver weren't CALIBRATED

The AI in Suzuka in this game is very strong. I was lucky enough to experience it myself.

Actually forgot safety car was a think it's been that long, miss how you could adapt your strategy to benefit from it can cause a right mix up in the race

Man renault gave you the hard shoulder on the strategy good driving and fight back tho

I had driver transfer fairly early on. Giovinazzi replaced Weber in a Williams. I still haven’t had a safety car either though, the ai has never done anything quite like Albon though

Seems like the AI is faster on Softer tyre compounds, which explains why they perform well in Qualifying and slightly worse when they switch to harder compounds in the race.

I’m drive for mclaren in my career and at suzuka toro rossos where flying past me in a straight line even though I had the 3rd best power train and toro rosso where 2nd to bottom. Some tracks still need fixing it’s the same with Bahrain. I can’t believe these bugs are in the game they are literally game changing and can ruin ur experience of the game. For example I’ve only had one wet race and I was the fastest car on the track and I finished 2nd from 12th on the grid yet the next race I finished 18th on the same difficulty

Season 3 for me: Toro Rosso has Vettel and Butler (he started here) - strongest on the chart Haas has Gasly and Magnussen - third on paper Williams has Perez and me - car maxed out, already slipped to fourth best Alfa Sauber has Leclerc and Weber (he started here) - second in the leading pack Ferrari has Giovinazzi and Kvyat - the team is a backmarker, plum last Racing Point has Grosjean and Ricciardo - fifth in a non-existing midfield Renault has Stroll and Hülkenberg - seventh Red Bull has Kubica and Verstappen 9th no changes at McLaren (8th) and Mercedes (6th)

Yeah the difficulty spikes sucks. Even the difference between wet and dry conditions are ridiculous. In spain I was lacking in pace. Qualified 16 or 17 in the dry. Race weekend was wet. Got 1st place. 95 difficulty.

Codemasters should later take into consideration that DRIVERS HAVE CONTRACTS. Raikkonen for example shouldn't have transferred because he has a 2 year contract and by then he should retire. They should promote some of those, currently useless, F2 drivers like Sette Camara, Latifi, etc.

Just put it on 110 AI and give us some realism. Nothing wrong with battling the midfield scrapping for a few points. Winning races in renaults defeats the object when it comes to moving to a big team.

Did you know Codmasters had a new bug. The bug is if you start you carrier in F2 the AI is mutch beater then if you just skip it

Can you make a video to address the issues with muiltplayer? They removed the option to pick server regions. AUS players like myself are in a full red bar lobby against people in Europe

Don’t wish it to be easy, wish you’re better at every race. I love difficult AI, & various from race to race is great. No need patches to change that.

Only one transfer has happened in my career. I’m at Brazil season 1 and Dani Ric has swapped with Perez, happened just after Monaco. Annoying cause Perez and myself (I’m occupying Stroll’s seat) were ‘best of the rest’ and challenging red bull. Now, dani ric has only picked up 5 or so points while I’ve been top 5

On someone else RU-vid video ppl have sent in their driver transfers and the common theme is grosjean gets the boot everywhere lol

Hey Ben, I have a question. You have your own character model since 2017(So does Aarav and Matt), so why can't you guys use your own character models in career mode instead of using these preset models? Just think about it, it's the ultimate F1 racing fantasy. Just imagine having YOUR face in the game and yet you can't even use it.

in f1 2018 I had 0 SC or VSC for 5 seasons with simulation damage. I have no hope of seeing the SC in f1 2019
