Pretty interested in what a PC on 100 octane would be like on the road course. Being able to run out the gears is what makes the 350 so nice on the track. I like the Idea of being able to drop the map to 93 and adding boostane if i can't get 260GT. Me hesitation is that the heat will become a factor. I certainly don't want extra weight but that can't be avoided.

Andrew wouldn’t it be better to have the dyno set up in the other bay, I think it’s the one on the side of your shop, that way you could pull straight on and straight off. Just a thought.

do you lose the 8250 redline with this setup or do you have it dialed back for safety or does it just not need to rev out that high (ie power drops off early)

It still revs out to stock redline. It just shoots up so fast up top I’m just cutting off a little early to avoid bashing rev limiter

@Mustang Lifestyle can you go more in depth to why you got rid of your GT500? Is there some particular issue that made you get away from that engine? I’m a gt500 owner (have been for 8 years) and have sunk a ridiculous amount of money into it. I’m want to know if there is something about those cars that is destined to failure

The cost to build engine and the time to build it ruined it for me. I waited a year for a rebuild and had zero progress made. These engine shops are just too busy. I just didn't have any interest in my 90k+ GT500 sitting collecting dust for a year.

That's impressive, damned near 900. I'm a little over 700 wheel on my gt350 with a 2.9 whipple and a big pulley, so not much boost. That feels perfect for a street car honestly.

How much boost can a F1A make? Assuming the engine is built for it, just curious.

I'm making 28psi with my F1A-94 But, I think Procharger rates them at 34 psi. The 94mm will make more boost and steam up top vs. The regular F1A.

Thinking on installing boost in my 2017 mustang gt. But not sure what I should be going with. Could you detect me in the right way. I have stock engine on e85 tune with a 1320 junky boss 302 intake. Thinking on vortex or Paxon or ssc I think if I am saying that right. What you think.

I’d definitely suggest ess or vortech or Paxton. Easy bolt on, easy to work on, and they make power. Let me know if you want one installed
