I'm pretty sure the first clip is fake based on how that screen normally appears for maintenance and other issues. It looked like it was a fake image that he put up because he didn't want to actually speedrun Hearthstone content. Typically, when Hearthstone shows any maintenance or a suspension instead of just "popping" to the outside of the tavern screen, it will appear to close the Hearthstone box and then kick you out of the tavern. Also, the lighting inside the Tavern will flicker and glow a bit, so as to give the appearance that the Tavern is bustling instead of a static image. He also clearly clicked something as the screen appeared, so yeah this looks pretty fake.
