Yeah sorry about the sound quality, there weren't a lot of options to choose from so that kinda sucks, especially since this is one of my favourites from the king for a day album, this is not really weird to me, I've become so used to it now it's just normal, even Mr.Bungle sound normal, everything else just sounds boring to me now, and at one point I didn't even think I would like Bungle at all and now I love just as much as FNM, on some days more!!!! it's hard work being a Mike Patton fan but so damn rewarding if you give it a chance, anyway thank you for the reaction , maybe listen a few more times to the song on FNM youtube channel ❤️

Every year when Mike's birthday rolls around, his Facebook page is inundated with people telling him "Happy birthday, fucker" in reference to this song.

This is my favorite F.N.M album. So many different styles. Mike's vocals on this album, in my opinion his most powerful

One of my faves from their harder-while-melodic collection... that bass does hold just that steady comfortable AND driving feel to the pace of the song. The melodic singing in part of the picking up with the heavier music sections is a neat balance for me. It’s a good driving, especially long road trip, song... certainly not as much sit back and listen. IMO. It’s tied in my head to Ugly in the Morning.... those two feel connected as a sorta set for me.

I get what you mean, man ! I think that Ricochet, Digging The Grave, Just A Man, Take This Bottle and Last To Know are the most "normal'" songs on this record. This track will always remain one of my favorites though, but I also think this is an acquired taste. FNM fans really love that one.

Official Recording has higher quality. Faith is one of those bands that's just better live though. Their performance of this song at Pinkpop 2015 is definitely worth checking out.

I heard the audio from your video it sounded good am using a amplifier and a good headphones, idk you are using wireless headphones which isn't the best for clarity and loudness. Am a audiophile. lol just replying to your comment about the video sound. Also FNM is very versatile band they've covered a good amount of genres in most of their albums more then the average band. Which is why they are classified as a experimental band. So I don't agree with how you said they don't put much thought into making their songs, they are actually very ambitious and creative musically to blend many genres into their discography. I think you just aren't noticing it maybe because you are too focused on mikes singing and have short term memory when it comes to remembering tracks lol, I love FNM and I hope you expand your music tastebuds so you can appreciate more music, but once again that's you choice lol I remember my first few months of getting into FNM I didn't like mikes aggressive side and I skipped most tracks like this but after giving theses tracks many chances I began to develop a taste for theses types of crazy screaming and abstract singing styles. Now I jam to more metal because of this lol

This song is not all about mike patton xD they are some punk elements in this and also metal and this song is very progressive, but I understand that you easily get distracted and focused on mike screams and crazy style of singing but this song has more to offer then just that, but I guess FNM is a very unique band and isn't traditional so I think people who aren't open to many genres and are very shy when it comes to more aggressive genres like punk and metal and screaming styles of singing might not like about half of mikes projects since he's very into that stuff. Btw I did enjoy your reaction :)

Dude, if you are ever in Colorado, I would consider it an honor to buy you a coffee or a drink. Mike Patton is amazing, but sometimes a little hard to grasp. He's one of the few artists that separates music from complicated art sometimes, but I love your take on it.

You should check out the title track from this album “King for a Day”...do the album version. You liked the piano in Everythings Ruined? You’ll love this. This album has some of my favorite cuts from FNM. Check out Ricochet and Last to Know as well.

I love the unholy crap out of this album. But if I had to pick one album of theirs... Angel Dust, hands-down.

The quality is because of the video, but the song itself has a raw sounding production to it in general. There are quite a few energetic songs on the album that are of a similar style, complete with Patton giving a manic shouting outro at the end. There are better songs on this album, but also a few worse ones, so yeah... I’m just glad you’re checking out more FNM stuff from this particular album which is my 2nd favorite by them after Angel Dust.

They are an avante garde hard rock/metal band. They're supposed to be weird. You need to learn that when you do these genres that conventional are out the window. Your brain is programmed to normal consistent music patterns ala mainstream music. I can't stand it when you reactionists give a flabbergasted no or very little opinion comment at the end. This song is a true one of a kind ....I have been a music enthusiast since the age of 10 and I'm 52 now....So you do the math. I have NEVER heard a song remotely like this. Terrible reaction. It doesn't matter about the RU-vid quality when you have headphones like them dude. Seriously, it is worth investing in $200-400 headphones at least. The difference is huge. A lot of these songs are released on RU-vid by the music labels now, so the quality is good.

FNM are a great band if you or someone you know are feeling like you want to hear something unique. As you said, an acquired taste. Oddly enough, I'd recommend *The Real Thing*, *Angel Dust* or *Album of the Year* before I directed anyone to this particular FNM album. Just my opinion. I have the CDs and *tapes* of Real Thing as well as Angel Dust, but I didn't like this album quite as much. For a reaction video or just for your own private experience, get the lyrics for "The Real Thing" from the album of the same name, and read 'em as the song plays.
