This sister is basically saying, when you walk with emotions, you’ll lack disciplines and without discipline there is no structure and there is no accountability. When you move with emotions you’ll fall into sin everytime. Rather deny your flesh walk with christ wholeheartedly and the rest will unfold according to his will and not your feelings. God doesn’t answer to emotions.. he answers to our faith and will to walk with him, a will must be disciplined

Sooo good! My feelings have been all over the place lately, so this was a great reminder to lean on what I know. My feelings have told me that I should be afraid and not trust God to come through for me. However, that is a LIE from hell because God said in his word that fear is not from him and he will never leave me. God is trustworthy and his reputation reflects that. I can trust God even though my emotions have been lying to me!

Sometimes I feel exhausted by the inconsistency of my emotions and it causes constant confusion on how I should go about handling situations in my life. Sooo needed this reality check!

It’s important to elaborate that the biggest teacher and one of the biggest themes in Gods word is FAITH. God cannot be pleased or moved without faith because it’s the center piece of our growth. During my walk I’ve been placed in countless positions where I completely cannot “feel” Gods presence or I was feeling down & in those very moments I had to declare TRUTH over myself and life even though it didn’t feel good & THATS when I learned the importance of faith & TRUTH over feelings

Earlier today I was talking to my husband about a “biblical” movie. And then the Spirit began to speak thru me about emotions and faith. You don’t need emotions to have faith in God. It may help us reveal our hearts before him and where we lack In understanding but the truth cuts through the emotions and our faith & faithfulness grows

I love this! I struggle with letting my emotions control me in my relationship. In every disagreement or difficult conversation we have, my emotions have made me say and do things that I did not mean. Continually saying "I'm sorry" is absolutely draining! I hate this for me. In watching and studying this video, I realize that emotions (to an extent) are not of God. I cannot continue to let my emotions define who I am, even in the most difficult situations. I prayed and asked God for forgiveness. I know he has forgiven me because I instantly felt happier and at peace! Thank you so much for this! I believed God led me to watch this video! I have gotten SO much from this! Thank you!

Lately I’ve been in a mental and emotional rut and has made me go significantly away from the Lord. I like listening to podcasts in general (informative, philosophical, witty ones). The other day when I felt like listening to one, I searched for a christian one because I thought it would be a good way to bridge myself with God through my most liked activity. And I found this. The title is what got me here and it gave me exactly what I needed to hear, it helped me gain the courage to get a direction amidst the turmoil. I guess I had a totally different experience my feelings and emotions led me back to God and Christ. I followed my emotions to the Lord! The holy Spirit used my emotions to be my compass to guide me out of the same sin you speak of. I know our emotions can turn against us but when used with wisdom and good judgement it's a beautiful blessing and gift. Our bodies intelligence CAN be turned against us. The fact that our emotions are tied so close to our spirit is the reason why the enemy fights to control our emotions. If he has our emotions he has our spiritual walk as well. It's great to hear your Walk with God and how different each walk is. Heavenly Father knows us so intimately and I'm grateful for that.🙏

Love this. I am currently realizing that perhaps my parents were wrong for discarding Christianity and not allowing me the opportunity to know about our Lord and Savious because of their own egos. Because if this i have trouble staying with the Lord, I flee when times get tough because I have no one to reassure me so im going through putting my full faith in the Lord our God. I am really new to this world and I can feel in my heart this is where it wants to be , my heart wants to stay with Jesus. How do I hold this faith with Grace despite having no Christian connections in my life. Do i need to change everything and how do I trust the process when my emotions throw me off a cliff at times.

Thank you so much, I’ve been going through it with these emotions lately , just been feeling so much anger and frustration. Finding myself messing up every-time I open my mouth and then feeling such shame afterwards… I’ve been praying for wisdom lately and I feel like throughout my situations, he’s showing me how to apply it. when we ask for strength in areas we lack he provides an opportunity to work on it. The world's wisdom is considered foolishness to God (1 Corinthians 3:19). Rather than relying on others experience I rather we go to our God that gives wisdom generously without finding fault. Because if you think about it, you listening to someone's experience is still you relying on your own understanding/ their own understanding with no God influence to it. We need to renew our mind daily in God's Word not people. We can listen but if anything we need to ask God for discernment if there is any true wisdom from the lips of our friends and family we are to take and apply. ***Saying this in case people missed the point ***

the revelation i had literally last night was how the enemy was weaponizing my fear and this fed so much into that; not because of how i feel (alone, afraid, helpless) doesnt mean its the reality of the situation. he never leaves or forsakes me and his hand is always over my life. Hi I’m 17 and this was my first time listening to this channel. I’ve always had God in my life but without the encouragement around me I was a “lukewarm” Christian. I’ve began my journey with God several times but I wasn’t serious however through the Lord’s forgiveness and strength he has brought me back to him again (earlier on this week). I asked him to show me a sign two hours ago to hush my doubts as I literally said I felt I couldn’t feel his presence or hear his word. This video was then recommended to me!!! Thank you :) so much. Does anyone have any more tips for getting closer to God except: praying, reading Bible verses and saying I trust you Lord.

Woah something really cool happened... as I was watching this vid I had my laptop playing from afar, and the hovering bar thing that pops up when you have your cursor over the video appeared around 26:47 then again moments later at 26:50 even though I did NOT move the cursor or even touch my laptop - my hands were far from it. So I realised HS is trying to draw my attention to that part of the video And that whole rant Emy went on COMPLETELY answered my prayer for wisdom & revelation regarding a specific situationship from literally a year ago that I just can't seem to cut off internally. There is NOTHING going on between us externally, that's the point of why I had been hurting. But then when I found Christ I realised that I can be healed from that old situationship and that void can be filled with Christ. And I had been praying on it so many times because the situationship is a trigger pretty consistently as I am out and about in the world - but in the last few days it felt like whatever demons were attached there were on their way out, like the triggers had less and less power. And then that rant at 26:50 SPOKE TO ME ENTIRELY! When we were physically intimate last year (Before Christ), it was outright my emotions trixing me that I was doing the right thing, and my old ideologies manipulating me into thinking I was in power/in control (I was really into manifestation etc.) WOAH COOL! Thank you Holy Spirit & Emy

This was so impacting for me. I so love the "Go back to the source." and not solely depend on what the pastor says. I've been having a spiritual warfare with "feelings" and this was such a good reminder/answer. It's sooo significant because our time rn is really deceived by so many other truths people make for themselves. I myself know it's hard to live spiritually in this earthly body and I too sway from the Truth. I hope more people come to see this, I'm definitely sharing it. ❣

While America & Americans are definitely the most bold when it comes to "living their truth", especially individually were definitely far from the only ones doing it. When other people countries have religions ,traditions, cultures they practice that don't align with Bible and his will; that's form of people "living their truth" its all they've ever know, believe in etc. Also the sound bite about emotions being great indicators but a bad compass was 🔥
