It has been SUCH a long time since we went to HomeGoods, so of course I had to bring you along with me. We find some amazing luxury items at HomeGoods. We also went to Pottery Barn and Crate and Barrel!!!
The best part of today’s video was when we found almost ten Restoration Hardware dupe mirrors for under $150. It was the epitome of the luxe look for less.

@@jackieboo6776 They can and they do!!! When you’re uploading, they scan over your video, and when they catch it, even with loud music inside stores, they copyright it. It happens with movie/tv scenes too.

Can you do a video about the good vs bad ways to increase the value of your home? We also can’t decide whether we should update our cabinets/countertops because we don’t know how long we will be in this home. Alternate video idea: How to upgrade a builder grade home to look more luxe and custom!

Heya, we had the same conundrum, and we had very orange toned wood cabinets and black countertops. It felt very halloween. We kept the granite bc that would be so expensive. Then painted the cabinets and did new hardware and then a year or so later did a backspash. So worth it! and pretty good bang for our buck

@@sashac7002 we have black countertops too! I want to get rid of them so bad. Buuuut the money!! Won't be living here forever. So for now, I'll be getting all white and stainless steel appliances and accessories to brighten up the kitchen. How was the painting process for your cabinets? I'm terrified of painting cabinets.

I personally could watch an entire SERIES of “upgrade from builder grade” videos. I’m talking lighting, doorknobs, faucets, doors, bathroom cabinets, molding, light switches, etc. Heck, after 15 years we just changed out the darn toilet seats and it feels like a huge upgrade, lol. I didn’t even think about them

I loved the light wood coffee table with drawers . Even though minimalism is great in theory , you still need stuff . Having a coffee table gives you a space to tuck away the stuff . When you have hobbies , you have stuff. You just need a place to put it all away and just tuck it away . I also have a collection of rock and mineral specimens and I don’t display them all out because that would be too much so I rotate them. That coffee table would be great to tuck them away nicely . Put the extra candles in there ……..

Omg I been looking for the pillow. With the golden retriever no luck here in NYC. A week after we had to put down our precious Gunny. I received a email from home goods. All the pillows showed were made in England. My Gunny looked exactly like the picture on the pillow. We miss him so much.

I love days where I have the time (and money!) to take my time shopping and looking around. Back when my younger brother and I roomed together, we took our time gathering up new stuff for our apartment as for once, both of us were off work together. One thing we needed were new blinds for the bathroom. We...didn't measure the space, lol. This resulted in us returning sets of blinds three or four times. The woman in the customer service/return center at Walmart just began to laugh each time we came back. I could have sworn I'd left the tape measure out so that it could be used at the new place but seems it got packed anyways and we didn't want to buy a new one when we had one, just for measuring that window. We were going to get the size right eventually! Just...might take two days and eight drives down the same road 😂

But I noticed this particular store only had either fall stuff, or beach themed stuff and only a few other things in between. It seems like the stores near you have a much wider selection lol.

Ok I love u guys together. I love Grandma and I’ve never met her. Could she do a cameo? I’ve stayed away from home goods because I have too much already. I feel a bit pathetic and like I need to get out more because right now I literally don't have access to a car so it's hard for me to get out to shops like this and you are like my window into these stores. I totally understand decorating around art. When we retired to Florida 6 years ago, the walls were painted sea glass green which was fine. Then my husband started painting huge conceptual and very vibrant canvasses. Every surface is now painted white, the furniture is white, the dishes are white..... I'll bet you would be intrigued by Martin Puryear's prints (and his sculptures) but the price point is not for mere mortals.

Yes yes yes! I have a very contemporary home and I have always felt the need to sway into a more organic, or mid-century type of style. While I love to re-design, I know that I feel comfortable in my style and switching it out to something that is "trending" will leave me feeling out of place in my own home.

$60 is good for a Kinkade 👀👀 He’s known as the artist of light and his framed prints that size go for around $200 on his website. If you see again it might be worth scooping it up. I swear I hope my HomeGoods gets it 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
