Fallout 2 - Metzger Assassination - First Attempt 

You can drop dinamites on the flor but fight with Metzgers goons can still be hard.

My first playthrou was with pre-defined girl. I wanted to get Vic before venturing fourth, but hadn't enough money. Dinamite didn't help. I tried jet on myself, wanting to cure it later, but it was a failure. Finally I used jet on Metzger and his guards, waited for some time to let negative effects work. They were not able to retialate then, problem was solved.

Set the timers then use your steal skill on Metzger to plant the set explosives on him.
