This is just a continuation of Bethesda's totally surface level writing. They simply are not creative enough to envision "post post apocalypse" only "post apocalypse". They retcon and destroy vegas and shady sands because those cities are a bastion of humanity developing back into a civilized society. They cannot allow NCR to survive, they must make Mr House an idiot and a full on villian instead of morally grey. This is fallout 4 writing but put into a show made for tourists.
It’s not criticizing capitalism it’s kinda doing what the boys do where they criticize corporate power of mega corporations. Which appeals to socialists on the left and anti globalists on the right.
@@appropriate-channelname3049 The mega corporation presented is a delusional strawman whose goals make no logical sense, so it isn't doing a particularly good job of that. There are plenty of criticisms to be had of big corporations, presenting them as cartoonishly evil supervillains that seek to end the world isn't the way to raise them.
It’s similar to the way people who despise capitalism (or at least their distorted misrepresentation thereof) and they demonstrate their loathing of that caricature by buying Guy Fawkes masks from the world’s largest online seller, Amazon, with royalties going to the world’s fifth largest media and entertainment corporation, WBD.
My friend was super-excited for this and he knows I'm a huge Fallout fan, and he's like "Todd Howard is a producer! The guy that created Fallout!" 🤦♂️ This show was rigged from the start.
Honestly, that's what makes the popular reception so strange; if Rings of Power, instead of trying (and failing) to tell a story that seems vaguely Tolkien-esque, was just a goofy action-comedy series, apparently half of the people who hated it for butchering lore, tone, theme, and failing basic writing rules, would have loved it. Because that's the only big difference I see; RoP attempted to feel like Lord of the Rings, like a fan-fiction, while Fallout didn't even try to feel like the games.
@PaladinHD apparently not much, given generally positive reception this show has, it just proves how easy it is to trick people into thinking that your pile os shit is much better than the other ones because you sprinkled some polish on it.

They keep pretending the show is not subversion, they keep pretending its not lore breaking and they keep pretending its not cringe.
Yeah, the logic of the criticism doesn't follow. Maximus turning against his militarised society in the penultimate episode was rooted in individualism, not communism. Lucy quoting Jesus and applying the golden rule to a set piece to change the Ghoul's outlook was also anti-collective and hailed a traditional western value. The haters of this show appear to be hating on it because its early heroes were against communism but it doesn't take a stance on that political ideology - it's there to capture 50s paranoia. If anything, the show explodes individuality in grey ways, which is a good thing.@@tristenatorplaysgames6833

Didn't care about either of them, just Geralt and the bard's adventures.
It's funny because both shows relied on the traditional masculine male archetype character to hold interest in it. Witcher had Geralt, Fallout TV has ghoul cowboy
Theres a difference here , Netflix Witcher writer and show creator openly hate the game and the novels and wanted to create their own story they essentially piggy back the game success to build their own and I believe it's the same universe as it before the game. The Open Bar where you, Gary, & Mauler got into it with Critical Drinker about this series was awesome! Nice to see people with opposing views instead of an Echo Chamber
Fallout has always criticized capitalism. Since day 1. That's literally the fucking message of the games, lmao. Do you think that Mr. House was the good guy or something, bro?
It's worse because the games explicitly show you that there are far worse things in the world than corporations. Just at their villains. The Master: An abomination who wants to eliminate humanity to make way for his race to rule the world. The Enclave: A government that engages in genocide as an excuse to bring back the US. The Legion: Fucking slavers! Mr. House is literally the least worst option and they still make him responsible for bombing the world?
Why do Normies always have super low standards for shows on their first season. All you need is a set piece and a bad plot hook and its "a good show" Even when its slop with a meaningless plot. Then season 2 comes out and they realize the writing was never good after the honey moon and people either just fall off or do a 180 and act like the show wasn't always mediocre
They're terminally online, and uneducated. They sit there on their phones while the show plays in the background, then call everyone a liar when they don't agree with them. If they're not children, holy crap. So damn sad.
I'm avoiding it because the same people who made Westworld also made that Fallout show, so irrespective if it's good or not, the following seasons will be a bait and switch. The dialogue is also cringe.
It’s so good. Really fun. Used to watch my ex play Fallout for hours. Loved the world. I’ve watched this series 3 times all the way through. I think you might need some help if you don’t enjoy it.
they unfortunately turned it into the WORST one too if it was more like 2 or hell even 1 then that may actually result in something that's 100% enjoyable, but fucking NOPE.
I mean, those are the only games (+new vegas) that are considered generally good. And none of them are made by Bethesda. So obviously they would want to destroy them
Just to add to this, the oil base was destroyed in 2241 and fallout 3 took place in 2277, that is a 36-year gap. The Enclave Does NOT recruit non-Enclave, they are without their main base and still weakened in Fallout 3. Black Isle did that, not Bethesda.
To think that even Critical drinker says it's good... Yes, it's fun "if you shut down your brain". But if you care even a tiny bit about Fallout's lore, this show is an absolute mess. Especially because bethesda claims this show is canon.

It gets a lot of praise but I believe that’s entirely due to the interesting setting and high production value. The writing of the characters is abysmal. Everyone is an insufferable moron.
Lots of the characters are naive due to there lack of exposure to the real world. I found Norm and Cooper to be very smart picking up on the sexrets around them pretty quick. Max and Lucy were also fairly smart they just needed time to adjust. Lucy represented charimatic intelligence and Max is more akin to the real world. I think it was revealed he had high endurance.
I honestly thought that the cast of characters were well rounded. Max could've had some plot holes fixed up but other than that, i found them quite charming. How would you of changed the story if you feel strongly this way?

The show overall is average, or mediocre. The writing is crap but the action set pieces were pretty cool, and the ghoul as an actor nailed his preformance. Not a good show, but not a terrible one either. To me, the only reason people praise it so damn high is because it's not the bottom of the barrel crap that we usually get.
Imo action scenes were pretty ass too. Mostly because of plot armor and plain dumb things some characters decide to do. Ghoul is invincible and his enemies are incompetent. He manages to take out like half of his opponents in Filly before they even try to shoot him. Then he can't kill Max and Max can't kill him because they're both main characters. That's why ghoul uses shotgun against power armor instead of using his knowledge of weakspot or shooting those mini-rockets. And that is also why Max decides to just throw the ghoul around instead of breaking him in half or splitting his head using power armor's super strength. In a last episode BoS guys just stand there and look at the ghoul while he rambles about power armor's weakspot. And when the light goes out they don't use their headlamps but just shoot randomly and miss every shot. Ghoul doesn't shoot axolotl-mutant-thingy with his guns but pokes it with a pointy stick because story writers need a reason for him to abandon head and go sell Lucy to organ harvesters. Axolotl is killed later in a dumbest way possible, by Max pulling out it's guts using Tad (how lucky Tad didn't just get ripped apart). Also so much missed potential. They really added iron man's flight to power armor for it to be used only couple of times: when Max enters the scene in a cool way, when Max leaves the scene in a goofy aaah looney tunes way, and when Lucy's dad leaves to by milk in New Vegas. Ghoul has mini-rockets for his gun but only uses them against naked unarmored hobos, not even doing some crazy trickshots to utilize the explosive ammo (he does kill one random enemy with a blast after he misses the shot). Power armor is super strong but that strength only comes into play a couple of times and under dumbest circumstances. They could have made a show with shittiest writing imaginable (which they already kinda achieved), but make some epic reddit gold action scenes with BoS knights flying around in power armor ripping mutants appart Doom Eternal style, while Baddas Ghoul cowboy outsmarts his enemies with sick gunplay using special ammo for his custom made revolver. But instead we get this mess, where nobody apart from Ghoul knows how to shoot a gun like they're playing fallout 1 with 10% in gun skills. SAD.
The people who made the show forgot to check their calendars, and clocks, unless you want to believe people are throwing massive children's birthday parties with dozens of guests and celebrity appearances at 6Am. Because they forgot what time the bombs dropped.
At least Fallout 3 and 4 had the clocks stopped between 9:45 am and 9:50am EST. Even Fallout 4 feels slightly off considering Nathan and Nora were eating breakfast when it’s almost 10:00am? Really?
If Nate and Nora just had breakfast on the east coast it would likely still be dark in California, barely the crack of dawn. Surely that’s peak time for kids birthday bash complete with cake, afternoon weather reports and mid day cartoons 😑

But at this point I'm just thinking of excuses for this show's poor writing. it's pretty much Disney Star Wars all over again. Palpatine exploded at the end of episode 6 - "Somehow, palpatine returned", ship that had Chewbacca on board exploded - it was a different ship, Kylo's Tie fighter blew up - Kylo is completely unharmed, someone got stabbed with a lightsaber - they're fine after a couple of days in bed, Lucy's finger got cut off - kind robot welds a new one for no reason. It's this kind of hack writing where "Hurt/kill a character for shock value then revert that so viewer won't get sad their favourite hero died/became a cripple".
My brother-in-law asked me if I had watched it yet. Because “it’s really good, and there’s so many easter eggs from the games.” He’s never even played the fucking games
I think watching so much absolute fucking garbage modern media has rotted his brain. His expectations are so low, he’ll give any show with competent set design and cinematography a good review. Yeah, The Brotherhood of Steel were a “lesser evil” compared to the Enclave and had a purpose for the story of the original Fallout with the wasteland. After Fallout 1 they had less purpose remaining as they originally were. Lesser evil isn’t necessarily heroic. In fact, it’s normal for factions in Fallout 1 & 2 to have a bad side, even if you allied with that faction.
What I find most impressive is that almost every single point cited in this video is something that was _not_ mentioned in both of synthetic man's videos; some of these (points from reaper's video) being devastating plot holes Which is to say, the show is even worse than what synthetic man's videos show, if you can believe that
Synthetic man has always been more of a gamer than a movie/tv show reviewer if we're being honest. Or looking for every subtle hint of DEI and sweet baby inc influence on a piece of media, even if he sounds a little schizo at times lmao.
Different people notice different things. I noticed the far-left political issues, that most reviewers didn't, or don't dare to mention, but many problems about the writing (even though I learned how to write) or the lore evaded my attention. Arch, Shad, Synth and others have good, but different points.
It’s honestly impressive just how jealous Bethesda still is over obsidian making better FO games so much so they nuked shady sands and seem to have destroyed the city of New Vegas
I genuinely believe the way New Vegas is portrayed as being desolate is a test, dipping your toe in the water to see if you can get away with saying House failed, retconning every ending except maybe the Reunion but even then it wouldn't line up. I think they're trying to see the reaction because they _want_ to say you wasted your time playing New Vegas like how BioShock Infinite practically calls you an idiot and a loser for ever caring about System Shock through to BioShock 2 with pure nihilism.
I'm confident the storyline for this was written by an AI chatbot. It's not just stupid, it's a complete clusterfuck. Either that, or it was written as it was filmed, and they came up with twists episode-by-episode. There's no way one or more actual human beings wrote the entire season's story beforehand, looked it over, and said "yeah, that makes sense". The final result is screwed up in a way that doesn't make sense. It's not a couple errors or plot holes that can be overlooked; it's a total fiasco.
@@noneyabizz8337 Everyone in this show who's slowly dying becomes retarded. Titus threatening Cuck-ximus, saying everything you need to say to ensure the other person NOT saving you. The fugitive scientist, taking the deadly pill BEFORE explaining Lucy the situation. It's not like he could've explained everything, making sure that Lucy in fact will do what he wants, and then killing himself. No. I guess we can't even have a scientist do a smart thing in this show
the jabs he got probably gave him mental damage which explains the bizarre and dumb cave adventure scene where he wanted to shoot something and got killed by a bear.
"He is basicly finn from star wars" there has never been more accurate words spoken. I thought this the whole time. Not sure if you mention it cause im still at the start but the ghouls gun clearing holding 4 round yet he shots about 10 before reloading, really annoyed me haha
Strange that the people in Hollywood who opine that Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion be mandatory in every ounce of our media and entertainment seemingly treat all straight black men with this same trope. Over and over again. Its like they're scared of black men and do this as some sort of twisted humiliation ritual. Minorities please wake up to the fact that these ideologically compromised asshats are NOT on your side and never have been. You're no more than a stepping stone to more power and control and the way they treat characters like Finn, Maximus or Black Panther on a poster is proof positive of this.
I'd also like to ask, why TF they guy from Severance (good show, strongly recommend) is fat in a vault? They have limited resources, and are shown to excersise, which is supposed mandatory. But even withot excersise it would be very hard to get fat on what they eat there, and what are able to grow / have supplies for 200 years.
Because fat is a new thing to celebrate. Same shit in tlou show. I have only one wish. I wish that people stop paying for their services, stop going to see their movies. It has to happen or else we will have this idiocy forever.
My favourite part will always be Lucy telling Max he needs to give that vault their fusion core back but he doesn't want to because he wants to play with his armour. Then after he reluctantly does so she says she wants to date him. This guy was going to knowingly let a vault of overy nice people slowly die because he wanted to play with his toy and is instantly forgiven? Max is proven throughout the show to be a psycho/mental case but no one seems to care
like why is it a bunch of indie guys filming with a potato can make Nuka break an actually lore accurate and entertaining show but you give people who do this professionally all the money they could want and they cant even be bothered to know basic shit about the series theyre making
It's Bethesda-Fallout to its core. There are some good moments, but the overall tone and style is not what I would have wished for in a Fallout series. The plot has several gaping holes and the sense of location is a mess - characters are constantly jumping between lush forests and scorched desert. Power armor is also portrayed as kind of a joke. Its users are all incompetent, ineffective and it doesn't even stop claws or bullets. In the end, BoS Knights are also dropping like flies, which removes all sense of awe for this supposedly war-deciding superweapon.
It’s crazy that what is happening is what already happened ages ago with the Star Wars trilogy, people will go out of their way to act like something is good when it’s terrible…purely because they are attached to an IP. It’s actually insane how this keeps fucking happening.
I'm genuinely annoyed at the *usual critics I look to* who said the show was good because that meant I had to watch it or be deluged with spoilers, as I am a Fallout person who consumes Fallout content. It's the first show I've binged since Breaking Bad. I never watch TV or films anymore. I get my entertainment from critics. I'm three episodes in and it's absolutely awful.
I like it because the characters are fun and interesting, the action sequences are stylish, and reflect the over the top nature of fallout very well, the music is good, for a tv show, the CGI was respectable, but they also made great use of practical effects and they both mesh well. As a fallout fan, sure a lot of the twists were obvious, but as a show bringing in new people to this universe, it does its job well, as my family loves it, and my Dad who is a fallout fan same as me, also liked it, though saw some twists coming same as me. The intro really sold me to be honest, seeing the bombs drop in that way was very compelling Overall, I'd give it an 7/10 if you're a fallout fan, and an 8/10 if not. What did you think?
Or at least be way brighter so that there’s glare everywhere, even if you don’t see it directly, the fact that it’s literally even more luminous than the Sun is on Earth means there will literally be bright glare all over. To this day perhaps the most convincing nuclear weapon scenes are The BBC made for TV movie Threads and the dream scene of Terminator 2
I remember reading about how the survivalist had to sadly mercy kill an elderly couple after going blind from looking at the nuclear explosions in Salt Lake City. Example of good writing vs Bethesda silliness.
Btw Reaper. The scene of the Airship pulling in for the first time exposes its name which is in fact the PRYDWEN. you can see the name on the plating specifically on the scene with the two boys smoking cigarettes. The writers said it's NOT the prydwen
It means a lot when someone takes the time to dissect a story instead of blindly hating/loving it. The hate comments and dislikes prove that you’re succeeding! Thanks for doing the lords work. What an unfortunate time we live in
@@Colab-wy2ed after seeing the numerous clips (prior to watching any review videos of the fallout series) where they joke about exploding c0cks, I think I’ll pass. Thank you for the recommendation and have a great night!
In 200 years after the bombs fell nobody had an idea to clean or get things to work they just sit around like animals in their own piss and shit. This is Fallout 4 all over again.
Bethesda's Fallouts seem to be beholden to the idea that Fallout must never advance beyond the level of survivalists living in bombed-out ruins, or else it's somehow not right.
@@thebk247 Oh yes, a lot of plants, and radioactivity would decline by a large amount after the nuclear weapons. Even in the Old Fallout games. Most of the land was tolerable and livable. There were exceptions such as the old bunker that was destroyed by a bunker busting nuke that you had to go inside, but most places outside the vaults were not setting off radiation detectors all the time. The worst in Fallout 4 was the Diner. I mean there was actual junk sitting outside the building that counted a belonging to Trudy as if she didn’t lock it up, but left it sitting in the dirt. Combined with dead bodies nearby and so on.
@@the_neo_crusader That's not the point. The show is full of retcons that contradict the entire first two games and even the Bethesda ones. Not just New Vegas. Also the dialogue and writing sucks. All it has going for it are good enough action scenes.
@@the_neo_crusader Vault tec starting the war(it really should be clouded in mystery, instead of being outright told), NCR totally destroyed and the remnant being totally evil, the Brotherhood being a bunch of incompetent idiots AND cowards to top it all off, here's a few examples, but the retcons and unnecessary changes started with bethesda and whoever the writers for the show are making the lore even worse, And yes Bethesda originally wanted to reboot Fallout with 3, but zenimax overturned that desicion so since 2008 the series has been a requel with New Vegas being the only faithful to the original games, so it absolutly WILL retcoon the game, the factions and the story, because of New Vegas's rise in popularity and the decline of bethesdas products.
@@the_neo_crusader Okay before i begin, none of these are defendable i have seen too many shills coping and trying to justify them so dont even think about it. Here we begin: 1) Shady sands has been moved to LA when its located in Eastern California, The Boneyard no longer exists, Vault 31, 32 and 33 where never discovered by the Master when they are literally outside his base, he has all the access codes to the vaults btw because he discovered the original vault 0 which housed all the codes in a database. 2) There are no super mutants when they should be pretty common in California. Yet for some reason they're everywhere on the East coast? Wtf? 3) Ghouls need a special potion to prevent themselves going feral, this has never been a thing and is a huge retcon, if it did exist it would have been mentioned, who makes these potions? How are they made? Who knows the show does not explain this because it knows it cannot. 4) The Enclave are still around when their main base was destroyed in Fallout 2, they should be nothing but pathetic remnants by this point like they where in New Vegas not a whole force. 5) The NCR is gone, they where nuked by Vault tech, this is obviously ridiculous and only a braindead moron would defend this horrible writing, its an obvious attempt by Bethesda to keep Fallout as a permanent wasteland. Also Vault-Tec is dead. They where destroyed by the great war and those that remained where absorbed by the Enclave, which is also now dead (Fallout 2 ending, I'm ignoring Fallout 3 because that game's main story is nonsensical) 6) The Brotherhood dont act like the brotherhood, instead they're evil weirdos who think they're some sort of religious order. They honestly feel like a parody of Orthodox Christians. 7) Vault-Tec started the war.... F*CK OFF BETHESDA YOU INCOMPETANT HACKS!! THE WHOLE POINT OF FALLOUT IS THAT 'WAR NEVER CHANGES' NOT 'CORPORATIONS NEVER CHANGES', HOLY SHIT HOW ARE YOU THIS INCOMPETANT! rant aside, Bethesda and the socialist weirdos who wrote this show dont even know the themes of Fallout which are as follows: War and how it doesn't change, human nature and how it never changes resulting in war, nostalgia and letting go of 'old world blues' aka the past, and looking towards the future instead. Something Bethesda dont understand because they want to keep Fallout a constant wasteland instead of seeing growth and human progress. 8) Mr House is an evil capitalist parody that feels like it was written by a redditor who doesn't understand supply and demand. Nuking the world to 'make profit' is not only stupid but down right lunacy. It's impossible to make money of anyone if they're all dead ffs. Mr House wasn't an evil capitalist he was an autocrat who wanted to save the world, he couldn't but could save Vegas, and so he did. His ultimate goal is to rebuild humanity and find a way towards the stars to start a new legacy of mankind. One of space travel, leaving our destroyed planet behind and forging a new legacy among the cosmos. 9) New Vegas is destroyed for no reason. That's all i really need to say. This is Bethesda saying fuck you to NV fans and the legacy of the fallout Fallout games, 1, 2 and New Vegas, the ones that understand the themes of the franchise and those that try to progress forward with its story. Not the slop that is 3,4, 76 and the Tv show which is constantly regressing. There are most likely more retcons than this that others can point out. This show is awful, and anyone defending it is either a non-Fallout fan or a sub-human bottom feeder that is killing the entertainment industry with their bumbling stupidity defending and shilling corporate slop that couldn't be anything better than fast food. I know this may sound harsh but it is the truth and it must be said to preserve standards and quality content, if this was just a goofy Fallout adaptation i would still dislike it but i would tolerate it, but no this is meant to be Fallout 5, Fallout is officially dead and anything beyond this point is just a dead body being controlled by Bethesda.
There are many more problems: Shady Sands is placed completely wrong. In the series it is directly within LA, while it should be in North California, between Vault 13 and 15, Shady Sands was founded by the Vault 15 members. I reconized it, while Fallout 1 is actuell the one and only Fallout I ever touched and before I read some Wikia and comments stuff in forums and blogs. Also while Shady Sands is the core and capital of the NCR, the NCR is a big faction, a republic with a large area, what means, even when the Capital should be destroyed, that doesn't mean, that the rest fall apart into nothing. But in the series, the NCR is completely opsolete in the first place, no remains of it, just the typcial civilizing stagnation and archany from Gaythesda Fallout. While the actuell rest of the supposed NCR ist introduced as Raiders, rapists, murders and the other survivors of Shady Sans are idiots, cannibals and religious morons. Also Vault 4, 31, 32 and 33 doens't make any sense, Vault 4 is also directly in LA and it's entrance is inside a large obviously concrete coffin, also the other three Vaults are part of LA and not hiden that well, what means, that the protagonists of F1 and 2 should stumble across those Vaults and the Master had easely broke into it before. Then why is the Enclave still existent in the western cost and why does the Brotherhood do duty for them, it was obliterated by the protagonist in F2 with help of the Brotherhood and the NCR. The Enclave saw themself as a kind of supremeness over the other humans and civilisations, the wanted to kill the remain survivors and postwar civilisations in the wasteland (so also every member of the Vaults, Brotherhood and NCR) and mutants and set themself as the last humand bastion. The whole experimentation thing is portrayed complete wrong in the show, while the Vaults were constructed as safety shelters as a result of the operation Safehouse, it was the Enclave (at that time the shadow goverment of the USA), what (ab)used the bunkers as Labs, for their former plans to construct a spacehip and colonize an other planet. And know the racial thing, while in the case to be diverse, the showrunners portray us societies with obviously members of different human races living tight together. Know we take Vault 33 as an example, we have explicit blacks, whites and tans, while those humans live for 219 years together. While there is a strict breeding program, but obviously this doesn't involved the race in the sense of racial segregation, because it doesn't matter, if a black one is a manager and overseer or not, and even Lucy had no problem to jump on Fin... eh Maxi-Pad. So in the sense of diversity in the case racial mixing, after 219 years, there shouldn't be that diversity after all, we've got seen in the show. The inhabitants of Vault 33 should look more or less equal. This is the problem of many modern shows, like The Wither or The Ring of Powers, diversity can only exist through seperation, when you mix everything, everything becomes the same, this is Communism.
Not only was Shady Sands founded by Vault Dwellers, they built Shady Sands using a G.E.C.K device. G.E.C.K devices are powered by cold fusion. They gave the Vault Dwellers these cold fusion devices, but now they destroyed a city for doing what Vault Tech wanted them to do.
@@gringles "Evil capitalists" in this show are really like. "Let's destroy the whole fucking world so there won't be different factions fighting each other constantly. And then we - the supreme people, will build better society united under the flag of capitalism". And then they literally create another 50 fucking vaults which they can't control or contact, and then they act surprised when people from different vaults emerge and build different factions that fight eachother. And then they are like "Wait no bruh that's not what we wanted to have. You rebuilt civilization without us that's not right get nuked lol". WTF is that logic???
@@savekla They are overcomplicating and screwing up the world of Fallout every time Bethesda moves the franchise forward. It really should not be so difficult to color inside of the lines, but we are not dealing with artists or enthusiasts handling these properties. Look up how Damon Lindelof dragged Alan Moore’s name through the media circus to promote his bastardization of The Watchmen. I imagine there are a lot of people that would spit on the Tolkien Estate for chasing the dollar through Amazon Studios.
The show literally expressed in the flashbacks that they never met each other before the war. Moldaver only knew of Hank once Lucy's mom came to Shady Sands. If you actually had some media literacy and paid attention to the show you'll have known that.
@@reebonorton4175 Fair enough. But she also stated in the flashback that she engineered a technology which was offered to the several big companies back then what was refused because it wasn't profitable "enough". Be it as it may, maybe I'm wrong. In that case there are only 999 discrepancies left in the whole plot instead of 1000.
@@reebonorton4175all these guys saying the show sucks need everything info dumped on them in one episode. It’s probably from the lack luster story of New Vegas
This comment section is making me believe the allegations that Amazon has a bunch of bots raiding negative reviews. It's either that or people these days really do just have dog-sh!t standards when it comes to entertainment. This show is like Resident Evil movies tier quality, why the f**k are people actually defending it!?
25:20 can we talk about the fact that we can see ruined buildings in the background of shady sands despite the fact that the city was built in the midle of the desert nowhere near any pre-war ruins ? like WTF did the showrunners accidentaly rectonned shady sands to be in the middle of the boneyard or what ?
Shady Sands being destroyed shouldn't surprise anyone, Bethesda destroyed Morrowind in the overrated Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, because they couldn't stand the fact that people loved that game more than Skyrim.
@@Colab-wy2ed Skyrim downgraded the lore and character customization that was already present from previous ES titles. The only thing they "PROGRESSED" was the gameplay. Todd "It Just Works" Howard always does this, including with F4 which was worse than F3 LORE WISE and C CUSTOMIZATION which was a butchered version of F1 F2... No lore can PROGRESS without careful attention to what was already created. It just always seems like he forgets/hates/dislike his best works and the best work from Bethesda studios for YEARS. Same with how petty he was with the score on MetaCritic.
Don’t forget, Shady Sands was created using a cold fusion device invented by a genius named Braun. The Moldaver plot inserts her into this for no good reason, the writers destroyed a city built by cold fusion and then ends by powering that dead city with cold fusion. Some of the Vaults were given two cold fusion G.E.C.K devices and the Enclave also had access to them.
