Will Fallout London be forced to release earlier than it wants to due to the Next Gen update? Let's talk about it. NEWS ARTICLE ➾➾ www.pcgamesn.com/fallout-lond... #falloutlondon #fallout #fallout4 #falloutmods
Btw... i'm loving your content Biggie and I can't wait to start a new playthrough with the new update of LoreRim. The effort and care you're putting into it is amazing. you sold me on the modlist solving the sewer lid texture problem in Solitude. Just have to solve a problem with my PSU and I'm getting right into it
Wait it out before being bummed about it, SE was improvement over LE engine-wise. And you can always either roll back, Steam Depot downgrade method is a legal and easy way to have older version, or use the mentioned 'stock game'' feature to run both. FO4 modding scene is lackluster as is imho, if the engine is brought up to FO 76, it might be a good thing and actually liven things up. Some people are going to roll eyes over SE-LE statement, they really liked less restrictive DX9
@@netiturtle oh yeah, absolutely. It's not hard to roll back or anything. The sad part is, if there are good things coming with this upgrade, but at the same time it breaks some mods... we will have to wait a while before the mods are updated/redone, to enjoy the upgrade and the mods at the same time.
@@alexwalters35 that's why i refered to the LE/SE update, not SE/AE. And what I meant is just that if the same thing happens with FO4, we will have to wait to enjoy the benefits from the mods and from the update at the same time.
I tell you... I just freed a 50GB in order to a fully working backup until things get fixed or I choose to drop the updated version if things get longer than it should and playing it won't be satisfactory. I believe the Fallout London creators should release the mod already and take their time to made the necessary changes to work with the new update. without the urgency of making the players happy. We can make sure we can run Fallout London as it is now and enjoy it. For FO4 itself... until I can still use just visual enhancements, my modded High Poly bodies and textures I'm gonna be fine.
Hey brother, it’s a bit off topic but i recently installed vagabond and con not activate my enbs and i do not want to break the mod list do you have any word
I recently downloaded that modlist and instantly remembered how bad fallout 4 modding is. Here's hoping that, at the very least, the next gen update is substantial enough to revive the modding scene. That's a big if though
Next Gen update has halted release until they can patch around whatever issues the new update has created. Bethesda has been doing this much more since they have been acquired by microsoft.(adding content to the game while making mods incompatible until the mod author updates them.)
I know this isn’t the right video to ask, but I love your LoreRim mod list and how it plays, but it’s too heavy for my 4070s. I’m trying to replicate the gameplay style for my personal list, but I can’t seem to find what mod is changing the movement behaviour. Like how it seems to be momentum based, like when you’re moving, your character seems to have weight. I wanna add it to my list, and would appreciate it if you could point me in the right direction
On one side yeah Bethesda don't have to tell jack shit to the modders, but it isn't just about modders, it also about the community, Bethesda know well the update will crippled ton shit of mod yet they did it anyway and for what? It's not like the update bring a(good) life changing quality for the game, so this is just proving that Bethesda don't give a crap about the community. on the other side this update was announced years ago, team folon should see this coming and they should just go Standalone way like etheral or simply just release the mod because let's be honest most people who wants to play the mod won't update the game and even if they did update it by accident, there is still some way to just download non- nextgen version but then again Team folon is an independent team that doing the mod by the goodness of their heart
You know it's an issue when it's free yet we didn't want it. If it was actually next gen it would've been ok. But instead it was a terrible lazy cc addon.
@@alexwalters35 yes, that’s very impressive 🤨but you have to admit that compared to Skyrim it doesn’t really have the level of mod support that it has. I like fallout 4 as much as any other casual player and I can respect the modders that create content for it but fact of the matter is even with those numbers fallout 4 modding falls flat in many aspects. This is only the first out of what might be multiple updates in the future, and I’m personally unsure if fallout 4 modding will recover from it the same way Skyrim does. Idk where you get off with the smarmy condescending tone but if that’s the route you wanna go then go at it with someone else I have better things to do than waste my time with someone that’s insulting me right off the bat. At the end of the day, this is a video game. Go play it.
@@alexwalters35Numbers aren't everything. I like Fallout 4, but compared to Skyrim or even NV, it doesn't have as much quality quests and followers. To me it feels like most of the mods that get released are guns and armors. Time will tell whether the modding scene for Fallout 4 recovers or not.
@@honinakecheta601I agree with the comment above yours no way you are trying to say that fallout 4 modding is is small by no mean is it small and it was not dying either new mods come out every new gameplay mods new enemies new quest mods just like Skyrim besides Skyrim gets about ten times more of the s*x mods and and female mods which make up half of the popular Skyrim mods so I would say fallout 4 has a better selection then that of Skyrim right now
@@honinakecheta601 No way is Fallout 4 mod scene not great lol it stands next to Skyrim and eclipses most other games not to mention they share modders and players. Skyrim is both popular and older so yeah it has more. And this is not the first game breaking update, game breaker updates became a norm when CC popped up. You can't even say FNV is not great really. Bethesda games compete with themselves as royalty in modding if they are not great what is? I play Skyrim modded along with Fallout NV, and many other popular modded games like Sim City 4 ( crazy modded one) , Mount and Blade, Stardew Valley ( sits right near FNV on nexus) etc and Fallout is right there with Skyrim. Skyrim has some very great ones that add function but Fallout 4 is right up there with it to the point sometimes you want things to swap from both.
I am going to go way out on a limb and predict that the update will break more than it fixes, be followed by months of inconsistent patches, and since it lacks the huge modding community and tools skyrim has probably 80% to 85% of mods will just be unusable with out a downgrader. Unless they make serious improvements to things like script processing, precombines, and general engine improvements I don't think any modders will see any benefits to updating and just support the "last gen" version. I have zero faith they will be able to implement any of those improvements.
