It's more than that on RU-vid. You will see performances from ALL DECADES. I favor the '80's since I was a member at that time, followed by the '70's. But ALL DECADES we're 'ON FIYA' compared to the new millennium.
after all these years still one of the best ever if not the best. The band was so engaged and passionate in this performance you guys need to repeat this just the way it was performed, simply the best someone needs to promote this to the band director Please, come back 100!!!
@@williedavis3760 Hey disrespectful, yes the hundred of the 70s. Take a look at the footage. Start with 77 at tsu. While you're at it check out the tv commercials. The hundred have been doing Superbowls since the 60s. Evidently you don't know the history.
Remember the excitement you had when you 1ST SEEN FAMU PERFORMED. And you just KNEW that's the band you where going to be in; or you at lease represented it 👀. Im 36 now and Im scared my 11 yr old wont feel that feeling that I once felt. Shit changing so much from when was WE were younger.
I still say to this day, there has NEVER been a better Florida Classic where both bands left it all on the field like 2000. FAMU got the edge (a little long winded) but BCC brought it too. This was a tough show to beat from FAMU...the absolutely DEMOLISHED SU in their house with this show....but Cookman without a doubt held their own that night.
80k screaming fans got their money's worth and then some. Best BCC halftime show ever. Best Famu halftime show ever! Best overall halftime show ever in history! Famu set the trend with this show for decades to come!
No new school band is even in the ballpark in comparison to the hundred of the 50s, 60s, 70s or 80s. Anyone that believes otherwise is NOT LIVING ON THIS PLANET.

I miss the ‘real’ Hundred so much. All their butt shakin was ok but I loved their SOUND, especially the fanfare. Back in the day the brass in that fanfare could lift you right outta your seat🤣😉 No one no could touch them🤩
Not possible. Half of What made the 100 the 100 will likely never make its way back into the band. Times have changed. The Hundred is forever gone. Gotta make due with Florida A&M’s Marching band, thats all we got left. Long Live the Hundred ! D phi H
Wait traditional Swac bands do field shows oh I forgot they do 45s hold they horns then play when the in concert formation and coming off SWAC BANDS SUCK AT FIELD SHOWS!!!!!!
