FAMU has kept it's tradition ALL these years! I am from Miami, FL. At Miami Northwestern Sr. High School, I was a majorette and every band member wanted to go to FAMU! They set the standard and the bar HIGH! I just LOVE how they continue to bring da BEST year after year after year! I am so proud of The Marching 100! Yes I am!
My hometown had the pleasure of hosting the great 100.. come on valdosta!! So proud of famu.. Black excellence looks good.. I hope I hear ice cream man!!
Travis Kimber is a major contributor in devolving top notch musicians.. I had the pleasure of marching under Mr. Kimber from 2003-2007 at MLK HIGH.. Tho I never been a huge fan of Famu and took a scholarship to the illustrious NSU SPARTAN LEGION.. I thank Famu for giving us Mr. Kimber.. He had all of my band colleagues far ahead of the competition.. BTW THE 100 sounds great I love the bite and technique and the the balance!!
I recognized Rick Ross BMF, and Trick Daddy's Take it to the House being played during the dance routine. Great Job on the Invictus March. That's the level of energy and quality of performance that must be executed at all times. Peace.
Ayeee like always the 💯 be the best band in the world can’t wait to join one day 🐍💚🧡 and this is the best channel to watch all they performance keep up the great job
Great to see and hear to work put in… the DM are looking great giving that 100 look and appeal. The percussion and tubas what more can I say. Overall the Band as whole just awesome keep applying PRESSURE TO THE WAC IN MEAN SWAC. Lol 🐍 💯💯💯 flawdaboi 4 lyfe
We use to play like this. Once mr Todd left.. it changed. He was from Bethune Cookman... that's when we rocked like we did. We was over 200 deep @ lowndes high.. I'm so glad me and my sister got to experience this bc this was our black college experience for us..
@@09mrslick where here I stated the band have to be loud ??? Famu doesn’t and have no need to display the crazy loud swac sound famu stands firm on tradition projecting it’s sound and evolving the the talents these musicians have
Lindsey Sarjeant, the absolute BEST arranger of ALL times... Other bands will play this song however; it WILL NOT match the arrangement of this master piece...
Love the band, sound, and visual. A slam dunk if you will.. However the visitors stands are bothering me. Lol they are not centered. Haha. Great video thanks for the share.
No I dont think so....it's literally a fan favorite. It will be forever apart of the Marching 100... Just like S.O.S. it was done almost 40yrs ago when my dad was a freshman(Fall 80)coming up in the 100 🤷🏾♂️
Im not sure if that make sense. Im sure if its a fan favorite then they would know it. The crowd has been enjoying it since we've brought it to the book in 2010 when I was marching
@@MARCHING100PAPARAZZI I love it, give that good history! That is all factual, I am not a fan of ice cream man as a song personally, but the fans do seem to go up when that Into comes in and they love the song
@@MARCHING100PAPARAZZI so I recall ice cream man being piloted in 2007 when we played Southern. The same stank face I had when we sight read it is the same one I make today when I hear it. I don't even think SU plays it anymore.
@@MARCHING100PAPARAZZI I am shocked to hear that as almost all College bands will be playing a march at one time or another. There are plenty from the US Military bands themselves! I wonder if it is also a grandfather thing where if the video was already hear it wont be an issue.
I'm in the marching band that hosted the event also it wasn't a competition it was a fundraiser for Valdosta highschool marching cats to go to Hawaii in 2022 for a pearl harbor performance Valdosta highschool marching cats Valdosta state university Monroe Tornadoes FAMU
@@gacoachtrainer9315 it didn't always be that way.. I'm so happy I came under Mr. Todd.. back in 06 we were that ones.. but it's nice to Valdosta high doing there thing as well!
