Today's hike is a half-day hike in the Brecon Beacons National Park to Fan y Big, not as popular as it's neighbours Pen y Fan, Cribyn & Corn Du but equally worth a visit. I parked at the Blaen y Glyn Uchaf Car Park, and it took me just under 2 hours to get to the summit of Fan y Big. It involves a fairly steep ascent to begin but the eventual views are most definitely worth it! I'd recommend giving yourself 4 hours at a minimum to enjoy this circular walk and even the entire day if you have the energy to go on further to the other main peaks in this central part of the Beacons.
