In the 1950,s Dad bought a B JD that had a fresh ring and valve job. It made clouds of blue smoke. They said it will be Ok when the rings get seated. never stopped burning oil. Dad then bought a H Farmall. and the 38 rear tires from that B went on the H. In the 60's I took the JD engine apart. The scraper rings where on upside down!
Been watching your channel for quite awhile. Don’t understand why you don’t have way more subscribers. Keep up the great work. Your channel has helped me out numerous times. Thanks
It's always a good idea to take the crank to an engine shop to have it checked/turned before ordering bearings, after that many hours it's likely to have some wear and need turned and oversize bearings. Thanks for watching!
Primers are pretty scarce here too. Once things square away for you guys in the US it takes about another year plus for things to get back to normal stock levels here. Good to see you as always, stay well MB!
