I’m not even concerned about the dress at this point I’m just obsessed with her adorable personality

Gok was already my favourite from the very first clip but _god_ that exchange made me love him even more. You can tell he wasn't crazy about the idea but it was important to the bride so he was having _no_ external objections.

Gok puts in more effort than most people on the other shows and he listens to the bride!! 👏👏😍

Let's be honest. The shape of the second dress was super flattering on her, even more so than the third dress. It has the true 50s silhouette that she wants.

Love how he instantly supported her desire to wear her boots! Because in some other say yes to dresses they freak out about the shoes Also her friends are a bit harsh. Like it’s not their wedding?!

I live in the States, but I will for sure head to Lancashire (or wherever Gok is at the time) to have Gok find a dress for me. He is talented, compassionate and really knows how to make a woman feel special.

I HATE when the friends say 'oh i know you and you dont feel happy/confident/yourself' without asking the bride!!!!

SYTTD Lancashire is 100% my favourite version of this show. From what I've seen, there doesn't seem to have the bitter family drama that is shown in other versions. Gok is such a positive personality to have, makes the appointments feel relaxed, and it seems like he actual cares what the brides want and sticks to the budget. You can see he really cares about making the brides feel good about themselves. Always knew how good he was with making people feel beautiful with all the other shows he's done, he's the perfect person to have for this.

I really wish they could show us the glimpse of actual wedding ceremony of the bride at the end of the episode after she chooses her dress.

Gok is the best of all. He is really kind and always understand what brides want.

The second dress really looked the best. Besides that, the man marrying her is very lucky to marry someone so beautiful and with an amazing personality.

Oh no! She looked amazing in the second dress and you saw her face fall as her friends ripped it to shredds. The dress she chose wasn't a patch on it. At least she walked away happy but I felt her friends didn't do their job here.

I love that Lancashire version seems far more about making the dress unique and special to the bride and her needs and less about meeting the budget (which is achieved regardless). Gok is a great host for the show!

Gok is the best consultant on Say Yes to the Dress he truly listens to what the bride wants and he stays in budget.

I love how he was so supportive of her wellies! My bestie was lectured by the lady doing her fitting about her nails and telling her she’d look back and hate that she had a funky design. Her wedding was postponed due to corona so we’ll see if she sticks with it, I hope she does bc it’s what she wanted! Love a supportive consultant, honestly think it’s as important as the dress!

I love how Gok just looks stunned for a minute that she's going to be wearing rubber rain boots with her pretty bridal gown and then when she explains, he is perfectly cool with this because they milk cows and the bride wants to just leave her wedding and help her husband milk the cows and not ruin her shoes....indeed he INSISTS on the wellies when her friends try and talk her out of it. Its adorable.

I loved the second dress with the wellies! I thought it was cute!

My best friend and I wore our grade 6 rubber boots to my wedding reception. They were under my wedding dress. After the first dance with my husband, which was a beautiful waltz (we did competitive dancing), I lifted up my dress and my husband almost died laughing! He said he wondered why I seemed a little heavy on my feet. The whole house just about came down with laughter. Now, 24 years later, we still dance, although not competitively. He has lost much of his hearing and its too much pressure for him to perform. Standing and holding and swaying together is much more fun anyway 😉

This version of say yes to the dress is so much more FUN! Then the American version: such a diverse array of brides and stories and bodies and DRESSES!!!!!!!
