I think it's impossible for Timberlands, Jordans, and New Balance to fall off. I wish Jordan would bring back some of the less popular (but some of my favorite!) models like the 20s and the 29s.

I think the whole “___ brand fell off” is a really interesting conversation. To some it matters a lot, as they consume and adhere to more “trendy” fashion. And to others this argument may not matter at all, as a personal style relies on the combination of pieces in your wardrobe rather than validity of said brand. I think it is still a conversation that should be had, as it can get consumers to take a closer look at what products their favorite brand is putting out. I think it should be used for that, and not to discredit someone’s outfit.

I still don't know what to think about supreme it's had such an odd trajectory. One thing I will give them credit for (Despite them being notoriously overpriced, which some items still are) is the amount of unique styles and cut-and-sew pieces that you can't buy anywhere else new at that pricepoint. Most of the stuff coming out is straight garbage though.

New Balance will always be great and in. Because they make a quality product, that has its own unique look, and are worn by people from all sorts of walks of life, and for various reasons.

Despite falling off, Supreme has been consistently meh for the past couple years. I don't buy Supreme, but being into fashion/streetwear since 2011 its honestly a habit checking weekly to see the leaks for the upcoming drop. 550s made it almost 3 years being a "trendy" shoe, so it outlived its Tiktok lifespan. Best guess is the Dunk will be next by the end of 2023, which is where maybe that rumored Travis Scott SB Dunk restock comes in. Jordans in general are not "trendy" in the current fashion landscape. I wouldn't count a couple colorways selling out throughout the year as them being not dead, when the majority of GR stuff they pump out has been sitting since 2022. The random pleather dunks Nike pumps out still sell out faster than the retros that come out. Probably has to do with them being way too pricy and them not being showcased at all in the fashion Tiktoks the average user watches. The Kith/ALD aesthetic is definitely in still, unfortunately most people aren't wearing their clothes. Since they're all really expensive Abercrombie came in and took a lot of their designs and made bank off of people who watch TikTok fashion. If you wanna know where all the 5 inch inseam shorts guys and Emily Oberg clones shop go there on the weekend.

Supreme is the only one I can say for sure has fell off. Don't know if I can agree with the other takes. The other brands are just a victim of the recession imo. The Yeezy Restock completely sold out so I don't know if fell off is the right phrase, they're just not making them anymore but the demand is still there judging by the fact that all the slides sold out immediately. And Kith, even though not all of their collections hit, completely sold out of their Star Wars Return Of The Jedi collection just a few months ago.

The 550 is a good shoe tho. Just found an all black pair at Marshall's so yeah they probably fell off in popularity. Timberlands are just a staple of life to me
