I like this officer. He doesn’t take any nonsense from stupid tourists. 👍

The guard shouldn’t have to put up with rude and ignorant tourists who pull his horse’s reins and generally take the mickey out of him! Go home if you can’t respect British culture or traditions.
They would not do it in any other country but we let them do what they like here if you give them an inch they will take a mile and we ?? In this country have let them do what they want say no more 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I visited London a few weeks ago and was shocked by the complete distespect these guards are treated with. People were trying to grab, pull on, or making loud noises to or around the horse and guard. They are working, so leave them alone. Look at them if you want, but don't touch!!! If you are going to London, respect the country you are visiting and appreciate the tradition and history you are privileged enough to witness. Maybe this old American sees things differently from most people.
That is a very kind comment and I hope you enjoyed your visit to London. I am English, so very slightly biased, but it is a fantastic city for so many different reasons.
@@craigoliver8712 absolutely. I am pro-police, but this guy needs to understand that many of those people are just tourists who don't mean to be rude but just don't understand what's required of them. How many of them know what a "bollard" is ffs?
The man with the semi-automatic and the pistol and the taser is directing people to move themselves out of the path of the great big horses and the men carrying sharp pointy things. Sensible people would comprehend this as the reasonable thing to do.
are you sure it is not a burst fire weapon? outward appearance would not show, unless you could see the selector switch closely to determine if semi-auto, burst fire, or "safe".
What the fuck are you talking about woke bs ,,,these people are tourists ,they don’t know the rules ,,,,,everyone are not against you ,.,,,it’s just they don’t understand.,.,.it’s fuck all to do with being woke …..
The police had to tell those disgusting, arrogant tourists several times to get back. They refused to obey, then finally they scooted back but not all the way.
@@user-dl8eo6zc9z Perhaps you don’t travel much? Each country organizes tours overseas. So German tour groups would have a tour guide who is fluent in German and English. You see guides in these videos shouting instructions to their groups, in their native language, naturally. A Chinese tour leader wouldn’t be speaking Yiddish, for example.
Why dont they just put a proper barrier up,,, nowhere else in the world are members of the public allowed to just walk up to guards etc eg the Vatican!
It’s time to stop the posing beside the horses,it’s beyond a joke now. Proper barricades are now required. These tourist are so rude and confrontational
Well done 👏 too the officer 👏 👍 its such a disgrace when people who know that these who are members of the British army who are serving their country should not have to be disregarded by public who obviously can't read the bloody signs telling them what they can't do
Why people even can go close to the horses is wrong. They should put up a fence to keep the people on a distance from the horses. Why do people even have to be in the photos with the horse? It's not a petting zoo.
That’s it do it now, immediately, or else it’s big trouble with profound consequences if you are non compliant. Look at 👀 me in the eyes let all have a nice day.
Trying to get these people back is like trying to reason with a bull. They only hear what they want to. The best free show is watching these fools being themselves😱
I expect, some tourists have a Culture shock, when they visit here. Plus the fact that they don't know what happens, or the routine. They need Constant Guidance, ALL THE TIME, while they are here ! But sadly, it's not Important enough to do that. Yet, tourism is said to be VERY IMPORTANT here in the UK !! 🇬🇧
So are they mad that it was so expensive to get to London and be a tourist there and so they are low key taking out their anger on a guy and horse doing their jobs? I see this all the time cheapos behaving badly because they think they paid too much for vacation.
I watch these vids all the time and am a Londoner who walks past Whitehall regularly. Tourists aren't enemies who need to be put in their place. Some of them are annoying, but so are many non-tourists. I don't suppose many of them know what "bollards" are or where they should get back to or why. I feel this could have been demonstrated to them a little more so they actually understand the space that the horses will need to change over. Perhaps it was near the end of his shift, but he didn't need to be "hard-man" policing in this instance did he? They are just tourists come to have a nice break, not be shouted at and treated with disdain.
This is getting ridiculous. All these idiots are turning these guards and the change into a circus. These people should be moved much further away. Our soldiers are entitled to be treated with respect and not harrassed. 3:28
I doubt those taking pictures realise that the soldier isn't there for show. He has his sword drawn to be used and probably something else he can use, if need be. The cop has his finger at the ready to open up if there are issues (he's not there to just get people to stand behind the bollards)...
Despite all the comments here, i think he was rude. "I told you... get back." I totally agree with his assertiveness but it could have been done better.
