looks like a well setup axe. i'm still working on getting myself a decent condition conneticut. nice clean axe work and good to see you managed to retain a hinge on it. Shame you're not in the UK! Keep turning out vids please! the more real axe content out there the better!
i'd consider that a fair sized tree and it's definitely important to get your face cut clean and accurate if you want something that size to come down with any control.
@@elemental4rce i always looked at it like this, If the tree is big enough to kill me or do serious damage, I better take the time to do the job right so I know where its gunna go. On a side not, I was surprised my holding wood mostly broke after it fell. Odd for such stringy wood.
can you imagine the early european settlers having to do this to clear the land for farmland all by hand then they had to get a beast of burden to help pull out the stump from the ground the early Settlers had to be STRONG AF!
