The most awaited week of the Endurance world is just over, with a crazy 24 Hours of Le Mans coming to an end with three new faces on the top of the podium. Antonio Fuoco, Nicklas Nielsen and Miguel Molina took the Ferrari 499P LMH to the win of the greatest endurance race in the world for the second year in a row, despite variuous change of leads, penalties and difficult weather conditions that made the track very slippery in some occasion
Having already attended a WEC race this year, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to upload the video of the Ferrari 499P in action at the 6 Hours of Imola, including the winning 50 car, plus the 51, that won Le Mans last year, and the 83 privatly owned by AF Corse who led this year's 24h for the majority of the race

Is this what it actually sounds like or are does it have silencers put on, also does it sound better in real life than on camera like the ford GTE??

i'm afraid not much better in real life, 499p sound the worst among hypercars

@@sichengtang983 Loud ≠ sounds good. The Ferrari is one of the better sounding hypercars imo. Its very mechanical . Its a very uniqe sound. Reminds me alot of the later audi r18. Its the best sounding car under hard accel/breaking The Cadillac sounds very unique as well and is loud. It has the best sound at speed The alpine sounds like a f2 car for obvious reasons, and sounds the best as it goes away from you And the Isotta is a bit like a turbo hybrid f1 car All the other hyercars sound basically the same, they are not particularly interesting imo

It's not that low when it is by itself (i've done a couple of videos already with the car all by itself on track), but when it laps during the race with the other cars Is really difficult to hear, also compared to Cadillac, Lamborghini....

Enzo made plenty of cars with 6 or even 4 cylinders back in the day. He only cared about his cars winning races. Enzo would surely be proud of the 499P's two consecutive Le Mans wins regardless of its cylinder count.
