Never saw V12’s but Spa 2004 was awesome with V10’s. Never heard anything like it! Top of Eau Rouge was thunderous😮👍👍👍👍 That’s why I don’t watch f1 anymore. Diluted, muted, choked, no characters, stale and politicised.

A start of a F1 grid is INFERNAL! A start of a F1 Grid between 1995 and 2005 was CLIMACTIC! I’ve been to a few F1 races, and if there’s one thing I remember from all of them is that start! And yes the Ferrari engines give out a symphony second to none! I was a guest of Jordan at the 2003 GP of Germany …. Sorry for my wife which I love dearly, but compared to the start of a F1 in that year….. nothing compares LOL

I'll never forget when I saw GP at Monza in 1994 and 1995...V12 Ferrari's sound was something terrifying up close! Actual sound is ridiculous. Many thanks for the video

Was at Monza that year. The agony. Johnny Herbert won. Tribunes were nearly empty by then. Achingly beautiful car.

Fun fact: when a young Schumacher tooks his seat of the Ferrari 412 T2 for the first time, before the new V10 was assembled, he made just one lap and then gone back to the pit. Barnard and Todt asked him what's wrong and Schumi says: "how did you lost the last championship with an engine like this?" 1995 Renault Engine was a 2998cc, /67° V10/ 690 hp @ 14300 rpm.

@@glock10mm95 I've heard ib real ligfe all f1 engines, the one fro. The 412 is the best, cause it mixes the hig rpms of a v10, and the deep spund of a v12, infact it sounds better than a v12 or a normal v12 cause it's the best of both putted together.

1995 3.0 V12 T2 will for long time be the king of sounds in F1. Because Ferrari was the King of V12. Can hear it 1000 times and will be every time especially motivated after... ;-) It was more the Emotion than the power. Also very good documentary at Bozzy92 in Monza Curva Grande. (i think, Driver Marc Gene, nearly to the limits) Unbelievable.

Awesome video! I was lucky enough to see these cars in 92,93,94 and 95. 1994 at Hockenheim was just insane, they just SCREAMED down to the first chicane where we were sitting. Best sounds ever.

As some comments said, the 412T1 had probably the most powerful V12 ferrari ever made, around 850-870 Bhp in qualification spec. And if i'm not mistaken the 412T2 had up to 17700 rpm in qualification as well. Stuff of legends, because those cars were the end of an era. Also, needless to say, they were great, but also terribly thirsty and unreliable.

Wow this is what F1 needs to sound like, I went in 2012 to the last running of the proper sounding car's and it was awesome the noise makes it, I went in 2015 to the hybrid era and you can talk over the cars which is a little boring it did not give the same spine tingling as cars fly past flat out........................

Unpopular opinion: I prefer lower revving V12s like on the '91 and '94 cars, which I find the best sounding. I think high revving only makes V10s sound good. My ideal V12 changes gear between 13'000 and 14'500 rpm.
