god i love how for most of the game they play right into the genre conventions and follow the standard pokemon plotline (find the villain team making petty trouble, have a few run ins with petty grunts, meet some higher ranking members, reveal the main boss, watch him use the legendaries and almost conquer everything before you catch the other legendary to take them down, take on the last challenge in the league and become the master/champion/what have you) before yanking away the legendary you just caught and tearing away the curtain to reveal that the horribly dangerous team of organized criminals you just fought were being played for fools, and so were you, as the REAL villain steals the spotlight and the true threat is a thousand times worse than you could imagine. Like the Drama of it all.
Birbddha I’m sure reshiram would have a better time against frigi. I imagine his turbo blaze would cancel out frigisaurus invincibility much like ignos intense heat did

God this has to be one of my favorite battle themes in the series. After I unlocked the music player people in the hotel post-game, younger me would put in earbuds and play this on blast on repeat before soccer practice/games it was awesome. Unironically good workout music lmao
Glad so many people remember how unbeatable bullwort was. Devastatingly difficult, I remember hundreds of attempts over the course of two months just thrown at that guy. But finally beating him was one of my proudest moments man
Someone needs to remix/remaster this theme, it's really good but it's held back by the older DS soundfront. I'd commission it myself but the prices I've gotten are really expensive...

I've always been more of a Frigisaurus type. Ignosaurus is cool, but you can't have both of them in your team because of their support effects. Frigisaurus always just caught my eye more. Plus I loved earning Frigi, Igno just kind of appeared one day xD.
Go to the BB Base in the aftergame. You'll be challenged by the BB Bandits. You'll have to fight all 3 of them in a row in order to unlock Frigi. Be careful. You can't change vivosaur teams in between fights. Beware of Vivian's enrage skills and Accuracy-reducing Support.
I tried out healing this fucker with a tanky vivosaur and spent so long chipping his health down but I made a mistake and he won, I'm convinced the first encounter can be beat
you’re supposed to lose the first fight. i tried using delta’s counter ability and it got frigi to 1 hp, hit him again at 1 hp but the counter did 0 damage, so you’re not supposed to win the first fight
The encounter is entirely scripted. The premise is that Frigi’s stats are unparalleled and nothing can defeat it. Even using Counter will only bring Frigi down to 1 HP. You will then lose automatically. Would be awesome if you could actually win though!
you know once i fought this guy and was totally ready, using a vivo to increase accuracy, or decrease evasion, i got him to 1 health, but of course he didnt die, he just kept going

I found a fossil fighter in mt.Lavaflow with the same 3 vivosaurs as bullwort (1st battle) But he had his Amargo 1 rank higher than bullwort's Did you ever fimd this guy? Might record fighting him once i get there in my videos
