A pretty good review. After a month or so of ownership I would say it's not really as efficient as made out. Ok but not near the best. I find the ride rather cushy for a small car, not as stiff/sporty as say I'd imagine the Mini E to be. Transitions to and from stops under regen are slightly jerky and the brakes creak in doing so particularly on slopes. Couple of important things that every reviewer misses is the lack of ability to limit battery charging to say 80 or 90%. It will always charge to 100% unless you manually intervene and secondly there is no app made available in Australia even though it has been in use in other markets for a couple of years. All EVs have an app these days and it is needed at least to control and monitor charging IMO. Fiat say it is coming but not for at least a year. How hard can it be to adapt an existing app to another country? Overall it's just the kind of small city-focused EV we wanted but it is around $10k overpriced. Shame cheaper lower-speced versions of the 500e available in other markets aren't imported here. A car this small, with a battery and motor around half the size of a base Tesla, cannot cost anywhere remotely close to the asking price to make. I assume Stellantis and the legacy automakers do not really want to sell a lot of EVs and would rather sell ICE cars for as long as possible.☹
