Eric! Nice martial arts demonstrations and great job on your show in Shaolin and other martial arts in China. I love seeing Americans representing and discovering Chinese kung fu.I am currently in Yantai practicing Mei Hua Zhuang and I have practiced Shaolin Kung Fu as well. I was wondering what you are doing in China now and if we can connect sometimes!

Hi Eric, I enjoyed watching this video and your other videos from China. it says you are a 'beginning student'. It does not seem like that to me at all. May I ask how long you have been studying the Filipino MA. Hope to see more videos from you. Your Chinese is quite amazing. May I ask how long you studied Chinese and was it in China? Regards

thanks for the nice comment! i studied FMA for about 5-6 years; it's hard to practice though now that i live in china. i studied chinese for about 8 years, mostly in the US, but spent about two years in China. we've still got one more episode of 'experiencing real kung fu', coming out sometime in june, so be on the look out!

Why are your FMA teachers called Sifu instead of Guro?

they're also guro level of FMA, but i'm just used to calling them sifu/simo as they're both jeet kune do instructors

Eric Couillard Cool. How did a guy who made fake commercials for The Bone Zone get to be in China on a Chinese TV show? And why are yo not on the next season? Instead it is a russian kid.

haha damn how did you find the next season, i haven't even watched it yet. i was in america during the filming of those two. i just finished filming another episode, not sure when it will come out though

Eric Couillard It is on some channel called bajifreak. How did you get to go to China? And how did you go from doing insane videos that make absolutely no sense with robert hamburger (but are hilarious) to being on a Chinese martial arts show? How did you apply?

I've done martial arts for a while and was a Chinese major in school. Moved to China to make movies.
