If I'm not wrong, I think Superman had the fortress of solitude in the Arctic because it is quieter there as Superman also has super senses. So the fortress of solitude gets him further away from the people, so that it is not as loud.

It kills me that these theories are almost ALWAYS better than what we see on the big screen. It's either a flop or disappointing when we see studios try to wow us, why don't they hire Matt or the whole theorist channel to go over everything. Everyone would make bank and we would have a chance of having better movies.

While I enjoy your videos and this one was good I still think you got it all wrong. Calculating his strength by carrying a rocket segment is flawed logic. As far as we know flying off with that rocket segment was no more difficult than carrying a box of Kleenex. Now there are multiple examples of Superman being hit with large arms and Small arms weapons fire without so much as wrinkling his suit.

One flaw: you based Superman's strength based on how heavy that rocket or whatever was...but that isn't necessarily has maximum strength. You could argue maybe that his face looks strained, but he's trying to throw it as far as possible so whether or not it's heavy for him, he would be throwing it with as much effort as possible

That was my thought. Superman can bench press the entire planet for days without even breaking a sweat. Even if this is just an analysis of the movie version of him I'm sure a lifting rocket is minimal effort for him. For this fight to be even a little feasible supermans strength would have to be severely marginalized

So, it turns out that superman has THREE weaknesses: kryptonite, supernatural power, and ionizing radiation. That means, in theory, that Godzilla could ONE-SHOT Superman. After all, Godzilla's "flame" breathe is made ENTIRELY out of radiation. Being exposed to that much radiation and force would probably cause Superman to disintergrate.

Great theory! Just one hole there... you are basing the formula on Superman's being able to life the rocket as his maximum* strength or the threshold, which we don't know whether if that's true or not. If he can lift a lot more than that rocket, then it would be much harder to make a suit that can keep up.

I got a good one for all film theorists out there. You know how in Batman vs Superman when Clark Kent up on top of a snowy mountain and just so happened that Jonathan Kent magically appeared out of nowhere. Well that was not a hallucination nor Jonathan Kent's spirit. I had do some digging and rewatch Zack Syder's Justice League when I finally figured it out. Jonathan Kent's sudden appearance was in fact Martian Manhunter, and while Martian Manhunter can fly, one of his powers in invisibility, which is why Jonathan Kent seem to appear out of nowhere.

There is a Hunger Games theory that I want you to look into. The theory is that Hunger Games, takes place in a alternate dimension where America didn't win their freedom for Great Britain. The evidence is that there were 13 districts that all specialize each in a different type of industry, representing the 13 colonies. Most of the people in the movies are British, and most of the clothing worn by the capital look like fancy old European clothing. And the WAR that started it all was the American Revolutionary War. Even in the movie universe, struggling to lift something does not mean it's the full amount that somebody can lift. To *actually* find what somebody can lift, you have to keep adding more weight until lifting an object is physically impossible for them. Because Superman is exponentially stronger than a human, the difference between struggling and full capacity is also exponentially different for him, at least when compared to a human. There are also *way* too many factors to take into consideration here. So by no means is this case closed.

That's kind of the point. Batman has a huge advantage when it comes to resources and that's one of his strengths that a lot of other heroes don't have. Since he's rich, he can easily act on whatever intelligence he happens to get and manufacture the correct counter to anything he encounters given enough time.

It's not a force... if that acceleration is applied to a mass say us the weight (not mass) we will have will be a force i.e if our mass is 75kg then the force you apply to earth or the force that earth applies on you (which should be equal n opposite) will be 75 X 9.8 N, now that's a force (weight is a force... Sorry MatPat but gotta disagree with you here . Batman loses this fight, just because we see Superman lift a rocket doesn't mean that thats his max strength and trust me Superman lifts bro. He is at least 100,000 times stronger than a normal human. He's been made so op at this point that it doesn't matter what you throw at him he can take it easy. the only way batman wins this fight is with full kryptonite weapons and armor, the whole shebang. Doesn't matter anyway DC doesn't have the balls to actually make one of them win, they'll pretend to have a serious fight and then THE REAL VILLAIN WILL APPEAR! Then everyone will get angry and be sad when it doesn't live up to the hype. Still like batman more though and marvel beats anything DC puts out by miles, better movies, better comics, better heroes. I mean did you see Deadpool?
