The Svarga have been mentioned once in a recent video, but it was in reference to some environment design, so not sure if it's just a boss area, or will be a faction area. The Hindu religion is a very obvious opening faction though, as it is rich with diverse gods, myths and legends. I really hope they do have this as a starting faction. The Atlanteans would be an excellent faction as you could easily place both the pirate faction and the Cryptids in as we have very little in the myths surrounding it beyond the advanced nature of the culture, and nothing on the religion. This can be filled will the odds and ends. They will need a central/south American and/or a Native American faction too. I would say the Aztecs or the Mayans are most likely though as they are both extinct civilizations and well documented. The Arabian faction will most definitely be the Babylonians, Mesopotamia located in modern day Iraq and Syria. I would like to see the Assyrians and/or The Sumerians also from this region of Asia. If they have the Kojiki which is Japanese, then they are also likely to have a Chinese variant too if they plan to head into China, this will be essential. It is actually the myths themselves that produce the greatest knowledge about the gods we are used to like Sun Wukon. If you have the Greek gods, then you have the Roman gods too. They just took the religion from the Greeks and dumped their own name over the top. The original Cut and Paste religion. They will need a central and/or eastern European religion to go with the 2 northern European factions already (Avalon, Norse) There is a multitude here to choose from and I would personally like to see the Magyar polytheism, which has some similarities with Celtic Shamanism but has many human looking gods, as well as having animal gods. They also have some gods that take different forms sometimes human, sometimes animal, sometimes just a spirit. This would be great for skills for instance as you could have a human doing normal skills, and transform into the associated animal for the Ultimate skill. Very cool imo. I've seen many people say that they will run out of gods, myths and legends very quickly. I say to those people... There are currently over 700 Gods that people worship today throughout the world, and 2500-3000 gods alone that have been documented throughout history. Each of these civilizations have hundreds to thousands of myths, legends, and the humas/animals/Demi Gods that have grown up around them. They could create 10k champs and still only be less than a quarter of the way through all the gods, people, animals and demi gods of ancient times. They will not run out of these before they run out of people playing so don't worry.
Thanks so much for the shoutout! I've updated our Svarga page with details of where we got the info. I've also added a new Chinese faction with details of how I got it.
Svarga has been shared in the sense of the Environment art :) We haven't revealed any heroes yet though (tbf I don't think we've even started designing those yet!)
@@godforgetips I hope raid does one too! After watching One Piece live action on netflix, an Atlantean/ pirate faction has been my top hope for next faction in raid. Some cool shark characters in some recent gatcha games too
Kojiki is specifically for japanese gods as far as im aware. The hindu faction, no gods have been revealed but there has been some art with heavy hindi influence which is why I think they have put that on their website. Roman and Greek gods are basically the same with different names Zeus = Jupiter, Ares = Mars etc... so I tihnk you are right in that they will combine them/not make roman specific due to too much crossover. Pirates wont happen, not enough depth. Faefolk I think you could maybe divide out into all the factions. Loch ness could be in avalon for example. My guess is that Mayan/South american will be one of the factions, Slavic, Yoruba and maybe chinese??
@@RagewoodGaming hell hades confirmed this faction in a video release yesterday or day before when he "answers the hard questions". Great video, I have really learned to appreciate the hard work and balancing required to make a game across different platforms in a genre that is still fun but has been beat to death almost.
I think that "asian" is a little general for a descriptor of the Kojiki faction... Asia is a huge content with a huge list of cultures each with their own mythologies...I am certain this is from a more specific region than Asia (cough japan cough) ... might as well call it the Oriental faction...
@@nathanhenry8537 I would love to see it broken down into more than one faction I just didn’t think they’d have space for them all. I hope you’re right though!
