Personally i believe chucky should been inside jake's body for like a whole season. They could of done so much with that plot. The dolls that the trio went in look like shit. Yea everyrhing felt rushed. But Zachary doing chuckys voice was pretty dope to hear

There are indeed a lot of plot holes in the third season, here are just some of the questions that we were not given an answer to: 1. Turning off the lights in the White House in the first and fourth episodes - who was behind it and why? 2. Grant smokes in the White House - the idea appeared in the first episode and disappeared immediately. 3. The President and his wife smokes in the White House - similar to the previous one, idea disappeared immediately. 4. The ghost of Joseph, who simply disappeared from the plot after James’ death - why did he disappear, why didn’t he warn Henry about the danger? 5. What has been Pryce's motives since the beginning of the season? In the final version, he looks like the dumbest villain ever created. 6. What has been the vice president's motives since the beginning of the season? In the first episode, his connection with the reporter who died in the fourth episode is shown, but this connection immediately disappears. What did the vice president want to do in the oval office in episode two? 7. The reporter's investigation about Teddy's death ended in the first episode. Why? 8. James's relationship with another woman - the idea appeared and then disappeared in the second episode. 9. If ghosts can write on the wall (like "Chucky did it" in episode 6), why didn't they directly warn the presidential family, something like "Beware of the doll"? 10. Why did Joseph lure his father into the room where Chucky was in episode 5? Why did he essentially helped Chucky to murder his father? 11. Why did the security at the White House simply disappear after the murder at the party? After such a tragedy, the presidential family would be accompanied by security for at least several days, and in the series, the president died the day after the party. 12. The whole president’s death in episode 5 makes no sense. How did the aging Chucky, who literally could not move a couple of minutes after the murder, have the strength to tear out the president’s eyes? Similar question about agents death in episode 6. 13. How did the public react to the nuclear explosion? Why was everyone silent? Are there no environmental activists in the world of “Chucky”? 14. How did the public react to the explosion in the White House? What did First Lady Collins tell to the reporters? Where's Henry? We will never get an answer to these questions, as I understand it. 15. How did Chucky manage to hide his aging for several weeks, and then suddenly age in a day? The curse has been working since the exorcism in season 2. 16. What happened to whole Ms. Fairchild situation after her death? Why First Lady Collins didn’t tell the trio about what happened? 17. Finally, why did Jake, Devon and Lexy allow themselves to be turned into dolls? Why didn't they resist? These are just a few of the plot holes and inconsistencies in the third season. I love this series, and I really liked the story of the presidential family, but everything else is simply unwatchable. This is disgusting writing, and I must admit, it would be better if instead of the series we got the second part of the Child’s Play Remake

I feel they missed an opportunity here. Would have loved to have Chucky say (or realize) that HE was the maniac who killed the dollmaker's kid. It could have been a great irony that the Good Guy model wouldn't exist without Chucky.

I couldn’t call most of what people are complaining about “plot holes”. Don always intentionally leaves some things unanswered that end up answered in the next movie/season, and most of the “plot holes” mentioned are just unanswered questions. Cult left with a lot of questions that have been resolved since. Me thinks this is definitely meant to be further explored and explained in the potential S4 / Movie.

I agree, this ending was stupid and inconclusive. I hope we see more of the spirit realm because that's a cool idea we need to see more of. If this is where the series ends I'm gonna feel cheated.

The plot of Jake temporarily dying reminds of the movie the frighteners which is also from universal where spoiler: a young man who can talk to ghosts has to die temporarily with an injection to stop the ghost of a serial killer. Funny enough the serial killer also has a psychotic girlfriend. Very familiar right? Another detail when the man visits the haunted places he sees visions of terrible things the killer has done just like ep8

Fair's fair, I think what I loved about that last episode was that it felt like they were starting "Bride of Chucky" fresh...I absolutely LOVED Bride of Chucky. Also, these are my favorite reactions from you so I hope if they make more you'll react to them (but I understand not really wanting to if they do poorly :( ) I basically love any horror movie reaction the best :)

If it gets another season it should be the last. I think Don needs to wrap up Chucky altogether and give him a good send off. As for this season it was mostly bleh for me, but seeing Bead made my heart joyous!❤ I LOVE Brad Dourif. He is a phenomenal actor, legendary! And seeing him act alongside his daughter was amazing!! And then Jakes possession was good and the spot on impression of Chucky was impeccable! Here’s what I think next season should be. Chucky figures out a way to take over Dambella and become God Chucky. He maybe loses his physical form, but he becomes eternal and can now make others kill for him. That’s the only way I can see this going from here and not get monotonous. Oh and fix Nica! Poor Nica. Maybe she gets her own doll to possess so she can walk again!

The funniest part is that this will always be canon to the franchise. The only way to go more grounded is if season 4 decides to be like the Flash and resets the timeline.

The original concept for this show was supposed to be an anthology. Season 2 was supposed to introduce new characters who are being targeted by one of chucky’s clones from the end of season 1. I would’ve honestly been okay with the writers going down that route instead. it seems like the trio is just useless in this season. Plus it would’ve given season 3 more time for character development with the presidents family, Bryce etc.

I definitely agree with you about the finale. I was also disappointed. The wonky cgi. It just all felt rushed. I think if we had gotten 2 more episodes to flesh out an ending it would've been a perfect season.

(Apologies for the long rant, but here are my thoughts) If it weren't for the shitty finale, season 3 would've been a top contender for my favorite season of the show It was so much fun up until the last 12 minutes of the finale, seeing Brad in human form was awesome, the kills were brutal and episode 7 genuinely left me shocked by how good it was and had me excited for the finale But then, as you mentioned, they did WAY too much and it should've ended at Jake being possessed by Chucky That middle half would've been a badass way to end the season but they decided to tack on an extra 15 for shock value And even though I don't want it to get cancelled, there has to be some sort of creative restraints because while I like Don's creativeness, he gets carried away and does WAY too much for his own good. There also just needs to be an end goal that isn't just "Chucky and Tiffany foil the heroes once again", it's ridiculous how much Don did in order for those two to win in this finale. Also, i don't see a need in watching S4 if it'll just focus on the family adventures of Chucky and Tiffany and GiGi because we all KNOW how it'll end because we know Chuck and Tiff. I also don't want to see Andy and Kyle return just for them to be fodder for the family and have them get shitty endings by the end. But, with all that being said, I went into Season 3 skeptical because of my disdain for S2 and came out mildly satisfied, the first 7 episodes are 4-8/10s while the finale is a HEAVY 2/10

I actually liked these last 2 episodes of the season even the finale except for the last 5 minutes I was really annoyed. Jake did get on my nerves again and I didn’t feel bad that he got possessed literally once again with that stupid good chucky plotline look where that got Nadine and he was still thinking good chucky was real even after once again everyone telling him there’s no such thing. The kids ending up in marionettes is bc Jake thought finding good chucky was a possibility. Zackary doing the chucky voice himself was really impressive. Happy Tiffany is back in the doll body I got tired of the human tiffany storyline ever since S2 ended.

As soon as Jake gets possessed is where the finale just plummets. Don's always got a one good, one bad pattern it seems. So if we do get a season 4 it will most likely be more silly like season 2 was. Season 3 is still probably overall my favourite overall though. Less time with the kids, actual stakes with Chucky getting rejected by Damballa. Just a shame the finale is what it was🙃

Brad dourif has retired from acting except projects involving Chucky. Good Chucky was genuinely good for a while. But the brainwashing wore off over the course of season 2. At this point he has a split personality between being good and evil. It's exactly the same like Glen and Glenda.

Massive Chucky fan here, I’m done with the franchise. Both season 2 and 3 were way too stupid, they don’t ever commit to any new ideas that they introduce, and that ending is hideous. Such a shame, I love Chucky, but I’m done.
