this guy got tired of bullying soulsborne bosses and jumped into another game and the bosses in this game are suffering the same fate lmao. no one can stop this guy.
Nah the action is more present than soulsborne games, also, is not like dodging and parrying were something that soulsborne games created. Honestly feels more like a kingdom hearts game
you can breathe lightly now without clenching your butt real hard. Ongbal won't come at you at any moment, he's too busy bullying other bosses in other games.
I still remember when they were showcasing the combat and the dude just passed the controller to the DMC 5 dev while he was 15 levels below the boss and he completely obliterated it, parried almost every single move lmao, the crowd went insane. Legendary moment.
oh he hasnt yet. i dont think he realized that they added a parry system. and i dont mean the titanic block parry i mean sword against attack. think dmc also has that.
I don't think he's mastered it yet guys. I remember watching his early Sekiro videos and thinking the same thing and then he just kept going further and further. This is just the beginning.
The game combat is complex because it limits your eikon abilities, and there are 8 eikons, so you have to pick and choose carefully, and every ability opens a different playstyle. This is only thing I slightly dislike, I wish they just gave you more. I can't remember how many weapons you could use at same time in DMC but I think it was more than 3, can't remember.
@@Bahamut3525 I would say the eikons are closer to styles than weapons. Most of them are even pretty close to certain styles: Ifrit and Phoenix are Swordmaster and Trickster between them, Some parts each of Ramuh and Bahamut are Gunslinger, Titan is Royalguard, and Shiva is Quicksilver. You even have Nero's Devil Breaker in Garuda and - at least thematically, if not in function - Vergil's Yamato in Odin.
Use limit break mode during stagger for increased dmg on spell casts. Pressing up on the d-pad at the end of combos while torg is selected offers a follow up similar to magic burst.
this boss was the first boss I died to in the entire game, took me a few more attempts after to beat and I quite literally got absolutely fucked. and this guy does it without getting hit once, bravo
You should play dmc 5. After beating that game using trickster and royal guard, this game will be easy for you. Enemy attacks in this game are more telegraphed, which I like because it makes it easier to have cinematic and stylish battles.
Ong bal's specialty is mastering the enemies moves and how to react to them, he has pristine knowledge about the fight, tho it looks like he hasn't mastered it yet, no torgal, no limit break, and the stagger windows are not optimal yet. But given time i am sure he'll come back with a more masterdul display, no doubt.
You're just the G.O.A.T We can count on you to show us what top tier gameplay will look like for every new combat game It's the best review of a game we can get, because you get an idea of how the combat could look And we get to see your insane skill level, that you've somehow always developed in record time
played the demo a few days ago and was left wondering, "im probably gonna enjoy this game if i get it but what's the end game combat look like?" then i see this and youre tearing it the fuck up like usual! side note: i LOVE the sound design in this game, from the music, to the spell FX, to the voice acting.
Out of all the enemies in this game the iron giants were my favorite probably because they don't really have many gimmicks to them just a strong enemy that can operate at any range but the majority of his moves can be countered it's just a matter of juggling between close range and long range combat
@@_ONGBAL thank you! wow - that is a big muscle memory change for fromsoftware veteran! I was thinking of going B or C, but let me try A, starting the game today :) cheers!
So I did this, as soon as it was available at level 34. Took 2 tries. After watching your fighting style, I definitely need to step up my ability game. I have 4,200 points to use and I’m so indecisive that I’ve only spent about 3,500 points upgrading abilities 😅😅😅
can anyone kinda of explain the parry function bc ik its to press square but everytime i do it i always attack instead of parry or is it just a timing issue
This also has a parry mechanic that I want to see that used as well. Well maybe if I play the game I'll do it. But it's one of the hardest mechanics in this game to master, but I bet it's no challenge for you.
I'm just here to discreetly check out what eikon abilities he picked :D Damn nice choice, though there are so many options in this game. Personally I like Garuda the most, and just doing lots of aerial combos.
