Well the ps1 has 16bit sound chip(old computer has seperate chip from the cpufor sound) which technically the same as the snes, even though the ps1 cpu using the 32bit cpu.
I can't believe that a few hours ago I was listening to the original song and now I listen to it in SNES mode. It is a lot of information for the memory of the sound module SPC700 The best remix or fix I've ever heard for SNES.
Who else would love to see a full, FF6-quality, FF7 Demake for snes? If they ever made such a thing in physical form, I would buy it, pop it in my snes like a giddy child and play it with my mouth and eyes wide open like I did the original back in 97.
Or wow, so seriously when I bought fantasy fantasy 7 the year before, I didn't expect but emaciated it to be one of the best experiences of my life in video games, good song
I just realized that image of Midgar doesn't make sense. The sector 1 and 5 reactors were the ones that got bombed, which were the North and southmost ones, respectively. And no matter which direction you slice it, Sector 7 is not 2 plates away from a deactivated reactor
Wondering wether Final Fantasy VII, with all of it's CGi scenes and art reworked as traditional 2D tile sets and sprites, would have fit on a Super Nintendo ROM cartridge. Square kept insisting it wouldn't (at least for the N64, which I'm convinced all the 3D assets wouldn't have fit). I think with clever compression and smart asset management, I could see FFVII, with all of it's scenes and backstories being a SNES game. That would take quite some time to make, though...
Wouldn't this version be amazing as rewarded for beating all FF7 remake trilogy's story 100%, but it's SFC/or Pixel Remaster style if this is similar to DQ11's 2D Mode.
Makes me wish that bootleg FF7 NES game was a SNES game. I mean if your going to do something like that and make (as it's called) a demake of the game why put it on NES and not SNES? As an experiment I can see why you wanna try NES but SNES would make more sense in the long run
