Finally Got the H22a Head for the Honda G23 Vtec Build
It's been a long time coming, but we finally got it! We decided in November that we were going to do a Honda G23 vtec build using the block from the F23a1 engine that came in the 1998 Honda Accord that we're building.
For the last few months we've ben trying to source an H22 head for the Honda G23 Frankenstein build, but we kept running into troubles. But today we finally got it! We were able to purchase this H22 head from a local Honda builder, and it came with just about everything.
One thing it was lacking is the intake, but don't fear, we already found an H22 stock intake for sale in Denver and we're planning on picking it up tomorrow. The only major item we'll have to still purchase for the build is K Series pistons, and what better place to get them than K Series Parts ( www.kseriespar...)
Once we get the pistons, we'll be ready to get the block cleaned up and start getting the engine back together!
